I have PhotoImpression which is alright but I don't like the text editor. The text always comes out blurry. I have Photoshop but it won't install on my computer for some reason. So I'm currently trying to download it so that I can have it. Hopefully, I can make some good banners when I get it but for now, PhotoImpression will do. For the longest time, I was doing everything on paint so PhotoImpression will be better than that.

I would watch the raw but I can't understand Japanese completely. I can actually understand a lot of Japanese words now because of all the animes I've watched but still not enough to understand an episode entirely. I'm hoping to eventually take a Japanese class so that I can watch the raw eps.

She was sooo pissed off she bit her lip and bled when Mikoto killed Takumi. God, that was phucking awesome. Scary yes, but it totally made a great climax in that episode.

I agree Youko. When I look back to that ep, I could totally see her becoming a villain. I think it'd be a nice twist if she ended up being a villian. What'd be an even nicer twist is if they introduce her as a protagonist but then as the series progresses, we find out that she's an antogonist.

On that note many believe that the person in this screenshot of the OP is Mai (It's also been said that this has been confirmed as Mai on the character designer's personal website in one of his blogs).

When you analyze all that you possibly could, they do seem to have purplish eyes (which was Mai's eye colour). Some other things that have been mentioned was the fact that Mai's powers were essentially fire-based and if the screenshot is any indication then it further adds to it being her (there's also another part of the OP which someone launching a huge fireblast and wiping out monsters).

What do you guys think?

Kagatsuchi? Eh, perhaps, but there doesn't seem to be any Child in Otome. Although, according to ANN, both of Mai's names are kept unchanged so this could mean she still has Kagutsuchi. Man, that would be freakin' sweet.

Anyone noticed that Arika's Otome suit is different? It's some puffy pink suit.

I noticed another thing while rewatching the ED of Otome (I like the song, it has nothing to do with the video :p) So I was seeing the episode 2 preview again, and I heard them say "moe." Now, "moe" can mean burning things, but it also means a type of affection towards an anime character that's attributed to otaku, or an object to their affection. I found out that they were talking about "moe" back in HiME for their own episode 2 haha

Interesting comparison. I think that both os those pics might be Mai. However,the thing throwing me off is that sword in the second pic. Only Mikoto had a sword as a weapon in Hime (if I remember correctly). The first pic has to be Mai, it just seems like it has to be. The second pic kinda looks like Mai too but maybe when she's evil. Notice how both pics have those ring like things around her wrists and ankles kinda like how Mai did in Hime. The first one looks exactly like the ones in Hime. The second ones look to be exactly similar however they're purple. I wonder if this means that Mai is good but is actually possessed or something.

It sorta reminds me of the real Mashiro Child from HiME.

I think it's most likely Mikoto when she transforms or like you said, someone related to Mikoto. This might sound strange but what if there was some sort of fusion to occur. Like Mikoto and Mai fused together into one thus producing the rings that Mai has but only purple instead of orangish and then the sword would appear too. Now wouldn't that be interesting. We could call her Maikoto or Mikai.

Eddie died in his hotel room this morning. They think it's heart related but they're not sure yet. He's going to have an autopsy tomorrow so that they can determine the reason for his death. Vince McMahon and Chavo Guerrero were at a press conference earlier today talking about it but I haven't been able to watch it yet.

The closest thing to Mai-Otome episode 6 is probably Mai-HiME chapters 2 and 3, where an orphan attacked.

Eddie was such a hilarious guy too. On Friday's Smackdown he totally played Mr. Kennedy and got him disqualified for using a chair, or at least, that's what Eddie made it look like.

Yup, the most recent episode was definitely for the fans. I found myself constantly drooling over that entire episode. I actually had some avatars dedicated to that episode up but I had to put an Eddie Guerrero avatar up to show my respects. Kira has also made 8 gif avatars from that episode which are just awesome. I don't know if he put them up here in NF but I know he has it up in NC.

I love the pool part with Ers or Erstin, I don't know which is the correct spelling of her name. Anyways, those pool scenes and the bathroom scenes were awesome. I can't watch those scenes enough. It's still entertaining everytime I watch it. ^_^

i find it very unlikely that mai will make an appearance with the same name.

they've named a mattle a "mai battle." then there's "mai star." not to mention "tokiha soup"

so i guess that sargeant wong is tate and mai will drop by with a different name... probably be the mother of the main character who had an affair with wong.

Either her surname is unchanged or her given name is unchanged, but most likely her given name, seeing as how everyone else kept theirs. But then again, it's plausible Mai is an exception.

I think Mai became one of the greatest names in the Otome world and thus they began naming things after her. ^_^
