ahaha...'mamimitas' is future tense for 'pitas' which is the act of picking a ripe fruit from a tree...its supposed to be 'mampipitas' but its easier to say 'mamimitas'...

also, the 'siga' i was refferring was the act of burning to get rid off of the said thing, like "siga ng kahoy/dahon" you are burning wood/leaves" :)

but let me think... general things to friends? like.... i could teach u slang... its not that hard compared to the literal trans, and it sounds more high level.

samples:

'musta? = hey/sup
from 'kamusta'

saan ka? = where are you going
from 'saan ka pupunta'

do you ge the jist? the less words you use it becomes more slang, may not mean anything to beginners, but we would still understand it.

more:

'labas ka? = goin' out? (informal/'you' singular)
'labas kayo = goin' out (informal/'you' plural)
gusto mong mamasyal = do you want to go out (formal/'you' singular)
gusto nyong mamasyal? do you want to go out (formal/'you' plural)

In english, you get the word 'man'/'dude' as an indirect pronoun for slang, like 'wassup dude/man'

in filipino, we use 'tol/pare/mare' (gays have so much more >.>'sister' lol)

usually goes at the very beggining or end, just as you'd use in english.

lastly, to sound really pinoy. you have to use subjunctives x_D
their quite hard to understand, but its a way of expressing something. like; 'ouch', 'yay', etc.

aray - ouch/ow
yay - yay
ngek/nge - could vary depending on use. like 'oh no', 'what the hell', 'what the--'
sira - no silly
dios mio! - my god!
ay dios ko! - oh my god!
humanda ka! - you watch out/get ready/prepare urself/brace urself - this is very rarely used in english. unless ur literally saying it. but in other countries, its used as a warning for anger.

but yeah, simple words u could use. sira is usually used when u say sumthing stupid, or if some one compliments you (not often though).

but yeah, be more specific next time x_D....

remember slang doesnt mean 'to be talk with an accent' but its using the words cleverly, but keeping thesame meaning,

most of the sentences in filipino are abreviated. because if u stick to the formal way, its very long winded, people will understand even if say 3 words out of the possible 6 or so.

the ang, ng, ay and at are the most common ones to be joint, like it is becoming it's

sample: flip = slang = eng

ikaw at ako = ikaw't ako = you and me
panahon ng hapon = panahong hapon = japanese era/ japanese times
ito ang = ito'ng = this is
ako ay = ako'y = i am

like would have = would've etc

but other than joint abreviations, theres also alot of words filip words that change when spoken. such as bakit becoming ba't

thats what makes learning english slang. another way of saying its slang, is a dialect they use like the black people in america. and here in the UK. its almost like a metaphor

samples are:

to spend a penny = i want to go to the toilet
having a hookey = having sex

in filipino i dont think we have anything that complex. since everything seems so literal

i think i dont know any that deep, since im a next gen, and no one really uses it anymore other than old people.

hmm... regarding your third sentence, the first syllable of the root word should be the one repeated so in that case, it's nakapagtataka... with taka as the root word. Nakakapagtaka would be the informal.

But think in the sense that you're using your head, it would be, "Ako ay nag-iisip."

'sinabi ko na nga ba' - literally translates to - i've said it.
but if u want the past tense of alam ko.... maybe in leteral terms it will mean...

Bokura ga ita is translated in english as 'We were there'. but bokura in this phrase meant more like, 'tayo' or 'us', but it didnt fit along with the grammar so 'we' were used. ita, means to exist in a certain place or time. it doesnt have an exact literal translation in english or tagalog (atleast, i dont know :P) but it can be used as, for example, "kare wa ita ka?" meaning, "was he there?" used as 'there' but 'there' translates to 'soko', or 'doon' which is not 'ita'. in other words, ita means to 'be there' or exist at that place or time.
