What do you all people think about the new ATI x1800 xt? I personally like it a lot, the benchmarks show that in certain times x1800 is far superior to 7800gtx but i guess it goes visa versa in other games. But in terms of memory and clock speed (pure power) it seems this card deffinintly wins. Having 512 mb of ram with 625MHz core clock and high-speed 1.5GHz memory quite indeed makes this very powerful. (if i am wrong, please state it and dont flame me as i dont have too much tech knowledge).

It's the same with any new graphics card. For a while it seems amazing but ridiculously overpriced. Then it gets replaced by amother card not that long later and it's slightly more affordable. I'm happy with my x850 xt

Ya im thinking of getting this once it comes out, plus it seems future proof since all i have to do is wait until this gets a bit old and bam go crossfire (ati version of dual gpu system). But then again, crossfire works with the other ati cards to but meh lol this seems to be the most powerful atm...

I'm thinking about buying this x1600 since it seems rather cheap, but we'll see. I really don't play PC games or even use intense graphics so it's more of a status symbol until I decide to buy Oblivion or some PC game in the future.

This is the one I'm talking about though: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1892478&CatId=0

Does anyone else feel that the x1800xt series cards were completely rushed? I'm in any case stuck between the 7800GT OC and the x1900xt. I've always had Nvidia cards so this is kinda tough to choose.
