This FC is dedicated to the anime/manga Suzuka.

Suzuka summary:

To continue his studies, the young Yamato Akizuki has to go and live with his aunt. He doesn`t have to pay a rent but in exchanges he has to maintain the residence. Besides having a public bath it`s also occupied by three pretty tenants, Yuuka Saotome, Megumi Matsumoto and Suzuka Asahina. Yamato falls quickly for the charm of the beautiful and sporty Suzuka but alas for him everything separates them...

Well if you liked Ichigo, I think you’ll like this one too, there very similar but this one is more romance and drama and less comedy and fan service then Ichigo. Its subbed by lunar and there’s only 14 episodes so far so you wont have to catch up much. So yeah defiantly try it if you can then, join our FC to represent, lol.

actually I do know why and it make excelent sence aswell.

after Asahina heard that Yamato went out with Honoka she became dissapointed alot, she realised she does have feelings for Yamato and then it does make sense that she try's to find a way to make Yamato-kun sees that.

they were heading back to tokyo and I am sure he told Honoka-chan he would be back fast he is a very stubborn guy so I am not surprised he went alone, he does go out with her, but that doesn't changed the fact he he has still feelings for Asahina.

And he said he was just gonna buy drinks fast for in the train, and if he would go with Honoka they probably would have ended up like he ended up now with Asahina.

And yes I would try and spend as much with my gf as possible yeah, but you should already know after 14 episodes that Yamato is a very stubborn person and cant make up his mind really, besides that he still doesnt really releaxed with Honoka around with him in my opinion. still not talking alot and all. I think because he still have alot of feelings for Asahina.

I didn;t realise till I saw balleri(o)nna's siggy. I've been watching the anime since ep 3 was released and really enjoy it. I have the databook as I figured i could use the piccy's in various things

Asahina's feelings for yamato definately seem to be coming out a bit more since Yamato and Honoka became an 'item'. Seems like that relationship is hitting trouble very quicky though with Honoka being so panicky about Yamato not answering and being with Asahina

Er...well it's based on a me tga. My friend to me that the manga contains alot of harem in, and it's also not scanlated in english, so you might want to stay out of that. The anime is fine anyway (apart from the animation sometimes)

Err...I don't agree. The Ichigo thread has mainly been sticking to on topic discussion, or we try anyway. All off topic discussion goes in the FC, so we are always trying to keep the Ichigo thread to Ichigo discussion only.

When I first saw the main character for this, I was like, oh shit, another Manaka. Not another dumbass. They look identical and seemed like they'd be indentical personality wise. I like this guy more than Manaka in that he while he was afraid to confess to Suzuka, he actually did. I've only watched the first 13 episodes and I love this series so far. I really like Honoka at first but I really didn't like her when she tried to discourage Yamato from joining the track team. It really bothered me. I like Suzuka even though she sometimes comes off as bitchy but I still think she's cool. I also really like Miki (Hashiba). Hashiba is like an improved version of Satsuki. She has the hotness of Satsuki but this time with a personality that I love. So I think she's my favorite of the 3 main female characters. I also do like Saotome since she seems to be really deep despite her crazy drunken appearances. I also think Yasunobu is a cool side character. At first, I thought he was gonna be like Ookusa but he ended up differently so far. I really like his character as well. So yes, I'd like to join this FC since I'm really starting to like this series.

Yea, I don't like Honoka. Miki looks exactly like Satsuki. I actually almost typed her name as Satsuki because of how similar they look. But I do love Miki in this one cuz she has the looks of Satsuki and a personality that's not Satsuki. That's why I like her. I do however like Asahina as well but her rough personality sometimes makes me not like her but other than that I like her.

When I first saw the main character for this, I was like, oh shit, another Manaka. Not another dumbass. They look identical and seemed like they'd be indentical personality wise. I like this guy more than Manaka in that he while he was afraid to confess to Suzuka, he actually did. I've only watched the first 13 episodes and I love this series so far. I really like Honoka at first but I really didn't like her when she tried to discourage Yamato from joining the track team. It really bothered me. I like Suzuka even though she sometimes comes off as bitchy but I still think she's cool. I also really like Miki (Hashiba). Hashiba is like an improved version of Satsuki. She has the hotness of Satsuki but this time with a personality that I love. So I think she's my favorite of the 3 main female characters. I also do like Saotome since she seems to be really deep despite her crazy drunken appearances. I also think Yasunobu is a cool side character. At first, I thought he was gonna be like Ookusa but he ended up differently so far. I really like his character as well. So yes, I'd like to join this FC since I'm really starting to like this series.Your in EK or as far a s I can say, but Lingz(the owner) as you know is gone for the week, but Ill tell him to add you when he gets back. Yup Miki's hella bad, I never really liked Satsuki in Ichigo, but this girl is hella cool. And yup Yasunobu's the shit too, hes hella funny, always messing around with that bone head Yamato. But evn though yamatos a moron hes still a cool friend to him, thats why I like him.

When they first introduced Yasunobu, I thought he'd be one of those characters that I'd hate cuz it looked like he was gonna compete with Yamato for the girls and drive him crazy. But despite that appearance, he only does things like that in front of Yamato to encourage Yamato to take some initiative. Like when Yasunobu said he'd walk Suzuka home. At first, I got mad and saw him as a bastard. But when I saw how he was happy that Yamato the late bloomer took some initiative to walk her home, it made me really like his character.

Well Yasunobu is still very irresponcible because he only wanna flirt with the girls really and Yamato wanna have a real relationship although he can't really take the first steps so that is why Yasunobu helps him kinda, but now more and more Yamato is doing alot on her own.

Yea, I know. But it's in Yasunobu's character to be a pimp. But despite that, he's helping Yamato in his relationships and is also really sensitive. Like when Yamato confessed to Suzuka and got rejected, he gave him kleenex and left him alone cuz he saw how Yamato was feeling and respected his feelings. He also has helped him to go after the girls and has also been making the girls realize how they feel about him too. Now that's a good friend and that's why I really like Yasunobu's character.

Yea, I noticed that too. The way things are going my prediction is that in the end, it'll be Yamato x Asahina and Yasunobu x Miki. Although, did Miki kinda confess to Yamato. Cuz when in the cafeteria, Yasunobu tells Miki why Yamato is depressed and Miki looked kinda sad and said that she actually had Yamato on her mind. Does that mean Miki also like Yamato? Cuz sometimes it seems that way and other times it looks like she just wants to help Yamato and Asahina get together.

We never said that we didn't know that we were just talking about the choose Yamato made by saying he went with Honoka wich was obviously the wrong choice. However even it was a mistake I think that it is good people learn from mistakes and also he might be clumsy but he does resambles Asahina her old friend in every aspect so no matter how weird he is those aspects Asahina like Yamato kun has it all. And I always said from the beginning that Asahina and Yamato would be together because Honoka is a wussy way to protective and cant stand the fact that he had the help of someone else that is close to him so no matter how you watch it.

Honoka is way too protective. It's probably because she knows that Yamato really likes Asahina and Asahina really likes Yamato and thus is trying to prevent them from having a chance. But even so, she gets jealous and panicky every single time and it's really annoying me. Like when Yamato almost sang karaoke with Asahina, Tomoka looked really hurt. All they were going to do is sing and she gets annoyed. If they were truly in love, she wouldn't have to worry as much, especially if she's sitting right there next to him. I don't know. I really don't like Honoka.

Here's my prediction as to how the they'll get together. It'll probably be at the end of the series. I think Yamato is gonna start doing really well and even start doing good in tournaments. He'll finally face Arima in a big meet and whether he wins or loses doesn't matter. What matter is what happens after the race. He and Asahina will probably get into an argument of some side but they'll both still show that they like each other. Afterwards, Yamato will get into some accident of some sort, kinda like Tsuda did. Only difference is that Yamato will survive in the end. However, while he's unconscious, Asahina will stay by his side and confess her feelings but Yamato won't be able to hear it. Yamato will eventually awaken and find out about Suzuka always being there with him at the hospital and either he'll confess or they'll end the show with them on the verge of going out. One thing for sure though is that I think they'll kiss at least once before the show ends. Whether it's accidental or not, I don't know. So yea...that's just some random theory I've been thinking about. What do you guys think?

It's been really good. All of the character interactions always seemed to pull me into the episode and help me forget about the other things around me. Especially Yamato and Suzuka's relationship and it's unique-ness. Overall, it's been really enjoyable so far and I hope for a good ending as well.

Honoka has always had honest intentions, and has never done anything to hurt people. I like her because she's always known what she wanted from the start and unlike her counterparts like Shinobu(Love Hina) and Hinata(Naruto), she actually had some guts to confess. She misunderstood Yamato but it's completely understandable from her position. Yamato said it himself in 20 that he was doing things that were giving her the wrong signals.

I think what most Yamato haters dislike is his indecisiveness plus his inexperience. It causes him a lot of frustration and failure and the viewers(myself included) are getting annoyed that the series keeps jumping from one plot line to another.

I have seen to ep.19 and from ep.1 - ep.16 the serie was like one of the best. (my top 10) but after ep.17 - ep.19 I was really depressed. People respond way better to positive motivation then negative, if she really wanted him to change she shoulda been helping him along the way. I really dont see how he likes her so much. On another note, been reading suzuka manga (continued where the anime ended) and I must say, it is pretty interesting.

For anyone whos interested, here are the events that occur in the mana where the anime ended:



- The two of them start going out
- Yamato decides to call Suzuka by her first name, and not Asahina, but fails miserably so he continues to call her Asahina for now.
- Suzuka has been asked to join a university competition over christmas with all the elites in track and field (Yamato isnt included)
- The two of them go on a date, Yamato talks to Suzuka about the "forced kiss" and Suzuka said it's okay
- They decide to celebrate christmas together on the 23rd since Suzuka is away for christmas
- On the day they celebrate, Suzuka had a meeting so she was unable to get there on time, after yamato hears this. he gets pulled by jhis friend to the karaoke box and thus meets a new girl there
- New girl is introduced
- On that night, when SUzuka heads home after the meeting, she encounters the girl "clinging" onto Yamato
- After this, Suzuka ignores Yamato for a while
- Yamato gets pulled by his friend to a themepark with the new girl and her friend
- This themepark happens to be the one which Suzuka and Yamato went to, and they went to see the event which occured when Yamato confesed in episode 6
- The girl asks Yamato if he's been there before, Yamato explains his story
- Yamato decides to leave the themepark and go to the camp site where Suzuka is at
- Suzuka and Yamato talk stuff over
- Suzuka cries, and said she will only forgive Yamato if she slaps him twice
- Yamato agrees
- Suzuka goes to slap him, but then just when shes about to slap, she decides to kiss yamato on the lips
- yamato, being totally shocked, gets a real slap after that
- Suzuka as an extra gift kisses Yamato on the cheek.
