im bored so i figured this-

Straw Hat Pirates-
Luffy (captain)
Zoro (swordsman / my opinion the 1rst mate)
Nami (Navigator)
Sanji (Ships cook)
Chopper (Doctor)
Usopp (Sniper)
Robin (archeologist?)

Exstensive Crew-
Yosaku & Jhonny (Swordsmen / Ship guards?)
ViVi (Navigators aid?)
Franky (Ship maker?cannons etc.)
Franky Family (50 Members; including Mozu;Kiwi;Zanbai & the Giant Trio)
Pauley (Carpenter?)


Any thoughts on this?
Wouldnt this work out as an good StrawHat crew.
i mean with time the crew needs to grow to a normal size, this is an good head start. its just my thoughts.. if i let any potential out be happy to add on. and i guess positions and such. lol..

i would like the crew better if they stayed at max 10 people, so it won't be overcrewed.

I agree, as it is with 7 people the story can only focus on but so many people at a time. i was only saying it as an idea. i believe any fan of onepiece could see how that could not work storywise in the manga or anime.
it would bring the story line to a crawl and character development for the main characters would lack. im just saying as in terms of just pure conversation and such.

and i think it should be like this in real terms of the series-
1 luffy
2 zoro
3 nami
4 sanji
5 ussop
6 chopper
7 robin
8 a fat guy, sorta like from shanks crew
9 Pauley or franky
10 person who plays music, so luffy can be happy O_o

Umm, she/he (sorry, don't know) has Nami as a navigator (she's a navigator, Tony Tony Chopper is the doctor), and this is just his/her idea of what would be a good pirate crew.

I'd like to see the addition of both Franky and Paulie but Paulie seems to attached to Iceburg. Franky though for sure, he will undoubtedbly be added to the crew.

i think paulie will join as the shipwright and franky will join as the musician XD. i also think the ff will join too, making it a proper pirate crew.

I think we're probably going to get a new crewmate every two islands or so. Franky will be added after this arc is over, he'll build a new ship, ect. I hope Usopp decides to stay on the island ~_~ He pissed me off with his uselessness.

Baka, don't ever call the great warrior of the sea useless. Usopp kicks an unbelievablely large amount of ass. I almost want to neg you for that but I won't, because you provide super speedy naruto scans.

Ussopp may be useless in the crew but he is one of the most important characters in One Piece. No ussopp = nOe Piece

Seriously it was just an idea, and the Crew doesnt need to get any bigger but it needs new characters to keep that constant interesting feel. for all we know each 2 islands they can pick up some uber powerful crew memeber or more people like Usopp.. lol, or more temp crew mates like ViVi only around for an arc or two.

and if you pay attention i only listed off the allies they have made who have the option of joining the crew. as in why i left dolton out even tho im sure if the straw hats needed the help he would. im just listing off allies w/ option of joining lol. if they all did it would be an interesting and big crew (bigger than now) since all have little personality triats and if mixed can be really funny or annoying lol. Jhonny and franky in an 'brother' shouting match.. (its ok if you dont get what im talking bout with that)

Usopp has to say a straw hat, if not will go off and come back strappin cannons.. he isnt useless he plays a role in each arc. not like sanji but he helps in his own way and adds comedy. you saw him fight luffy over the going merry right?! with those dials and a little insight he is not someone to screw with.. i wont consider him a siper until i see him sink a ship with a cannon or fire off a few rounds with a gun and kill/mortaly wound a few people. he is more like an random crew handyman who can aim.
but there is no real crew without the origonal 5.

if there are 10 crew memeber not all of them will get a person to fight unless its an massive out break of ass kicking sweetness.
think back to the Croc situation in alabasta (sp?) Chopper and Usopp had to work together against mr.4 & ms.x-mas. yeah it was two on two but its more going to be like that.. luffy will go one on one with someone, Zoro and Sanji most likely the same, and the rest will be randomly paired and from time to time fight an one on one fight. im just waiting for chopper to have another battle, full on blueNose rage. lol

well just what robin does, and with the twist the story took regarding the uncovering of those weapons and history blocks n such its just needed. plus you never know what will take place later on in the series and what will be needed.

they've already had #8, AKA Luffy at Whiskey Peak:laugh .

9 and 10 are both gonna be filled, since Franky is almost definitely gonna join the crew for at least a while. I mean, he can do carpentry, and he can sing and play....what instrument was it again???

the sight of all these odd ass people following luffy would make me wet myself.

thank god it most likely wont happen, but its an thought.
(if it does ever happen it would be a brife thing, or the ending of one piece as 'pirate king Luffy' sets sail back to one piece or something like that..)


one awesome thing about this series is its unlimited potential.

How many characters can you name that had been hit by a 4 ton bat, shattered his bones and still stood to fight? He reminds me of luffy actually.. what with his regenerative powers and all.... and he's not even a fighting type!!

They dont need 50+ pirates to be considered a pirate crew really.
Look at Black-Beard.He has just 5 guys and he is still feared among other pirates.

IMO

Luffy (Captain, Primary Fighter)
Zoro (Primary Fighter)
Sanji (Cook, Primary Fighter)
Nami (1st mate,Navigator, Ranged Fighter)
Usopp (Sniper)
Chopper (Doctor, Secondary Fighter)

well it's possible.. I doubt the the ship repairmen would join luffy's team (why should they? they're loyal to iceberg)...
but if frankie joins luffy's crew (which is very plausible, seeing how he has nothing else to do, is powerful enough...and already wanted) I guess his crew would join too.

the only thing I'm wondering is
where's the musician??? and what about going merry? I would've just build a ship around the going merry...that way no sacrifices must be made :P
(or honestly.. I would've burned the damned thing....but I'd be a boring main character :oh...just pillaging, raping, killing, ruling...)

Kepa is right about Black-Beard , they perpare to take head of Luffy's head becasue he is 100,000 bounty and attention from World Goverment , if Black beard take his head , World Goverment knowledage BlackBeard is dangerous crew

Franky will join Luffy Crew but i am uneasy with that becasue Franky have family and sisters in family bussiness and Paulies is loyal to Shipbulder as Mr. Iceburg

but i want to know about Merry will came back as new ship or what ?

ok, why the hell does Luffy need an archeologist?Simple. Gold Roger's crew had someone who could read the ancient texts, so Luffy's crew needs one too. Can't be the new Pirate King otherwise.

Besides, it seems likely that the One Piece is actually the True History that Robin is searching for.

Oda (the author) Seems to like give clues about future events. for example on ep 377 this image appeared...

It gives us an idea about the future don't u guys think??
