Okay here is my question Why hate so much people Aerith ? In the most FF forums are people who say:Ah the best moment in FFVII is were that bitch has died thank good! or I hope she is suffering in hell and so on. What so bad about Aerith ?

Well I dont know about that... I go to www.ffaddicts.com forums and the people there dont seem to hate Aeris... atleast from what i've seen (like who is your favorite FFVII Character's polls) and whatnot...

I didn't know there was such a strong dislike for Aeris. I think the thing about her though, she's more famous for her death than anything she actually DID as a character. So when most of your Aeris discussion is focused on her dying it may be more likely to come off more negative than you intend.

Conversely, they may just be Cloud/Tifa shippers. Aeris was Tifa's competition for Cloud's love and in the end she won. If you're a big Tifa fan that may make you resentful.

I really didn't care in who loved who. Although it was unfortunate that Aeris died... But I liked that... Cause you never thought that Square Enix would finally kill off one of their main characters. Of all the FF Games they made not one main character died... When it came to FF 2/4 it was just certain characters turning into stones, or falling down huge pits only to be shown later... In FF2/4 they all came to near death... I think the only character that died was the old dude that used Meteor, but no one cared about him... I think...

Man, im going to be honoust here and say that i hated Aeris guts.
She was in NO way usefull at all when it came to anything other then storyline. Sure i was sad when she died, but not because it was her that died, it was the way they brought it, i think most people will agree with me when i say that if they had just thrown her off a cliff or somehting noone would have given a fuck >_> AFTER she died however i fell in love with the character, the way she was still beeing implemented in the story was amazing, Aeris will always have a place in my heart as a memorable FF character, but i sure as hell wont applaud her because i thought she was cool.

Funny thing is; Cloud and Tifa were never pushed off as a couple, they were more like close friends who found themselfs in love but never really acting on it and thus forgetting it with the chronicles of time XD

Well I liked Tifa more than Aeris, but I like Aeris cause she was the quiet, gentle type, its a good thing Tifa didn't die though... Not saying that Aeris's death was good but she shouldn't have died either.

Well, I could see Cloud with someone like Tifa anyway, and now that Aeris is dead she'll hopefully join up with Zack (Im not being religious on this its just the way the world of FFVII Worked, you die you become some spirit who is reborn or someshit like that... atleast thats what I understood from bugenhagens explanation of the earth...)

here's the prob, i think most people who hate aeris hate her because she doesn't have super great abilities, and yeah, they're right, because she's not exactly super strong. Hell, her final limit break only healed and made you invincible for a short amount of time, and you don't even need to be remotely close to that level to complete disc one. Yeah, I think there are far better characters (vincent, cid, not to mention cloud) but as for her personality, I think she was great. I remember the first time I played through it, I was like....whoa. so I don't hate her :P

Why..do I sound immature?? Well on the side panel it says I'm 16..

I don't really like Tifa because I have a tendency to hate female characters that are tame, kinda quiet..etc. I like bright and positive characters more..like Aeris and Yuffie.

And Aeris wasn't really useless. I always used her for boss fights because she had the highest magic power..

aerith was one of the best characters I was sooo happy when i heard that KH was bringing her back but she was non playable........but she was reunited with cloud in the end so that was cool.....i really disbelieve you can hate aeris because of some love triangle with cloud and tifa....

Yeah it does happen in the ending, though don't get too excited since KH has nothing to do with the stories of any FF games. The characters only play mere cameo roles. So the scene doesn't technically exist in the FFVII timeline, thus my sanity is still intact.

Aeris was awesome. Probably my favorite character in the game. That probably wouldn't be the case had she not died. That seemed to play a big role as far as her character development and how the other characters thought of her overall.

Her Level 4 Limit Break is the best in the game. I mean, if she were to face off against any of the other playable character and they were both allowed their limit breaks, then she would win. Invincibility is downright rediculous. Just think about it, if you could be invincible against Sephiroth, Jenova, or any of the weapons, even if just for a couple minutes than those battles would be incredibly easier.

I have a file on my mem card where I tried to get as much stuff in the game as I possibly could before Aeris died. In that file Aeris is level 72 and Cloud is level 71. At least 3 characters have their Level 4 Limit Breaks. I know it's weird, but Aeris deals as much combat damage as Cloud does in this file.

I can see why ppl hate Aeris but in my opinion they're stupid reasons.
She was one of my favourite characters with a sweet personality and she was the best magic user to make up for her weak physical strengh AND she has one of the best Limit Breaks in the entire game.

Aerith's 4th Limit Break:
Great Gospel = Fully heals HP+MP and makes all characters invincible and...I think it cures all status effects aswell.

Feh, I don't see why any one would spend so much effort on hating poor Aeris/Aerith. She was really useful when I played, and because I never stepped foot in gamefaq-type message boards, I never saw her death coming. >.< So much time leveling up.. But I don't hate her for that, she was one of my favorite characters.

I like Aerith,she was one of my first top favortie characters from FF7.I never managed to get her 4th limit break though.I was so pissed that she has to die,was like I'll avange her death! like that kind of thing. :)

When I was playing the game for the first time, (I already knew that she was gonna die) I kept waiting for the moment where she would be killed... Her only good moment in the entire game... But I'm not a bad person, honest! Don't hate me!

Aerith's 4th limit was very great, it allowed all the characters to have both their HP and MP at their max, and they were also invincible during a certain time... It was a beautiful limit to see too...

Since I liked getting everyone's limit breaks maxed out on the first disc (Yes, I have seen Gospel), I didn't really need to have everyone else dead, since Cloud could one shot the damn thing with Meteor Barrage.

Galuf's... not so much.

I'm starting to believe more and more that the reason why Aerith's death is supposedly so 'moving' is because of the music. Seriously. Freaking... stupid... piano... argh... if you turn the sound off when you're playing that part in the game, it's just meh... you know? The sound really made that scene... :S

Well, there was the little benefit of being over level fifty when all was said and done. Not that the game is difficult, but when you have those kinds of levels when you're finishing the first disk and moving into the second, things get a bit faster.

I liked Aeris because her limit breaks are basically free support magic. I mean, you can heal your party and freeze enemies without even wasting MP. Sure, you gotta get hit to fill the limit gauge, but the healing wind pretty much makes that payment nothing. I noticed a big difference after she died and now I have to keep using MP for Cures when I could have been using that MP for summons.

I forget what you have to do to level up limits (use them?), but no, it's not level dependent.

It seems that you don't like Aerith. I got the idea suggesting tifa being a ho by the way she dress clothes. I got tje pic by playing a game called "FF7".
As for your third question, I got that idea too from the game. Look, Cloud never stops thinking about Aeriths in ff7 AC. Tifa and cloud relationship is more of childhood friendship, not love.
