I always found it sort of curious that Kaname of all people turns, or that he of all the captains is the one that captures Ishida after the fight with Mayuri. Setting up a rivalry then? So important hypothetical time.
Can an elite Quincy archer with all of his powers back, do anything against an opponent he can't see??

Ishida would not be able to deal with Tousen's Bankai very well unless his dominance over spiritrons extended his touch sense like Neji's chakra bubble or something. Ishida would probably lose with the abilities he has shown up until now. But it's very likely that Ishida will be the one to defeat Tousen in the future, after they have both gotten powerups. Of the 3 bosses, Aizen will be beaten by Ichigo for sure. Ichimaru is a big question mark, though I kinda think that Kenpachi with Bankai will beat him. That leaves Tousen, and Ishida is a logical opponent for him as an upgraded Tousen should be beyond Komamura's level.

Makes sense. He could just stick out more spiritron thread and fight like a spider, using the vibrations to find his target. Or just put out a ton of flak like when he fought that low level shinigami with all the spinning blades.

I don't think he could handle the Bankai unless.....
If he managed to see the Red Spirit Chain that Tousen has, the might be able to shoot at him using that.
in case you guys never noticed, tousen's bankai also kills your soul spirit detection and eyesight...which I think includes all those thread spiritrons techniques.
Perhaps if ishida would start shooting blindly he might hit tousen, but tousen's advantage would be just too great.(On the other hand, how is tousen able to fight so accurately, considering he's blind? )

^Yea, it destroys soul spirit detection as well, so Ishida = massive loss.
There is no possible way for Ishida to actually win.
doesnt it also destroy touch?

I'm pretty sure Kaname would have the advantage here. Having been used to the fact of being blind, when sight is taken away from many people, it'll dive them nuts. Kenpachi was a rare exception due to the fact he's just insane. Kaname would most likely pull this fight off.
Ishida because,he managed to see the energy(red laces) that Ichigo, does not.
