What Theme song will you miss most?

Even though the beginning and ending theme to the English dub are actually quite catchy, I will still miss some theme songs greatly. This thread is to honor the lost theme songs by telling everyone which one you'll miss most.

For me, I'll miss GO! most :sad

But at least the theme isn't rap right? :P

"Haruka Kanata" is my absolute fave theme and the song that propelled me into the world of Asian Kung Fu Generation fandom. It will sorely be missed. At least the dub op/end animation sequences include a whole lot of the second op video, which makes me happy.

I'll also particularly miss "Alive" and "GO! Fighting Dreamers."

Lol, at least it wasn't a rap, right? I don't know. The One Piece dub theme is so bad that it's good. XD It could've worked out. But I guess better safe than sorry, huh?

I have to say that i'll miss "Rocks" the most. Like I said before in another topic, it gave such a great sense adventure and spirit to the show, in my opinion. It was a rather intriguing song. "Go" had alot of spirit too, and i'll miss "Wind" as well. But I have all the songs on disc or computer, so I can still listen to them when I want. It'll just be sad to see english Naruto neglecting such great music.

You guys are aware that the show Teen Titans plays the japanese version of the theme song every now and then right? I believe it's once every season.

That right there is proof that the common consumer is turned off by foreign music. Most of those who I've talked to thought the Japanese version was incredibly annoying and unnecessary.

Well, most of the scenes they used in the english openings ARE from the originals, although they spliced a few in show animations.

I agree the animation was the best part of the openings. If only it was like that throughout the series. But alas...

I guess you're right. The music was superb, so flowy and emotional. But I'm a lyric nazi when it comes to English songs, since I don't know squat any other language, and it really bothers me when I can't understand what the singer's saying. I think they change Naruto theme songs to make time for the show to fit in that 30 minute time frame and there are FOUR commercial breaks so every seconds counts. Shows on adult swim only have like two commercial breaks so they can keep there theme songs.

tun-san, I love "Kanashimi wo Yasashisa ni." I don't think the voice is annoying; it sounds kind of cute to me. And the animation for it fit really well and made a simple good song a good opening theme. The animation paired with the song tugged on my heartstrings at times, I'll admit. Not to mention I love singing the song as loud as I want when I've got the CD player going in my car and I'm alone.

The dub OP and ED are okay. I don't feel any particular need to add them to my music library, but they're so short and plain that they won't grate on the nerves for at least the first 20 episodes. There are other dubs that have come away a LOT worse that Naruto in the music department.

I guess the best analogy I can give is that Viz took away our gourmet cheesecake and gave us pie from the supermarket. Granted it isn't as good, although some do prefer it, but at least it won't give you cancer like you'd get if you had Twinkies instead.

one of my biggest problems with the dub's intro was that it introduced the characters way too early. I know the first intro (dub) was sort of a collage of the second and i believe third (im not sure on that) intros of the anime... meaning they wouldve showed jiraiya in episode one's intro, while he doesnt actually appear until like episode 45 of the series. People would be asking who the old guy is for like three years til cartoon network buys those episodes. I felt the normal japanese episodes introduced characters in the intros way too early... but the dubs... its even worse

This is America, not Japan. American kids won't watch a show unless they have a variety of characters to choose from. And since most kids already know who the Naruto characters are from the Internet, they won't be fooled for a second by the "ROCKS" intro, judge the show as being boring, and change the channel to Power Rangers Turbo Hyper Power Jet.
