Yeah I pretty much expect that. Inuyasha is just now releasing box 2 of what likely will be 7ish. And I'm still waiting on the two remaining Yu Yu Hak boxes. In any event I have a feeling once the Naruto episodes on CN "start over" I'll probably get annoyed and download.

Yea well the series that got me into anime was Ranma 1/2 back in the late 1990s. Know how long it took Viz to release 7 seasons consisting of 151 eepisodes in Ranma 1/2? 13 years. It took Viz a frealin 13 years to finish Ranma 1/2 and with these latest Inu Yasha releases hard tob eleive some of us older fans consider that 'fast' for Viz. I was really ubset that Viz/ShoPro got it cause really as with the Dub as a fan you don't always have to be happy with what you git. Sure it could ahve been 4kids worse but frankly why be happy with Viz when you know Genion or ADV could ahve done so much better... And also sell the DVDs cheaper aswell as more quickly...

In some cases, especially Naruto and DBZ, they milk reruns for all they are worth before selling the dvds because then they are making money from adverts. Thats why CN pays to syndicate shows like Family Guy. Fox takes money for you syndicating it and CN makes money from advertising between it. Soon if it takes off, you'll notice an influx of crappy adverts for kids/teens in between each show.

Then before the popularity uttery dies, they revive it with DVD sales. And they certainly won't be released until a Season has played once, possibly up to 2 or 3 times.


As for the sexy no jutsu, some pains in the ass will try to. Theres always at least one who'd rather bitch at the company than do the parenting but its all being tastefully done I think, its a childish prank. If they bitch, just bring up the diet coke adverts with half-naked men that they never complain about. That will shut them up.

It did very well in the 6-11 demographic, so I'm pretty sure there are a lot of little kids who liked it. It isn't surprising considering that majority of its fans in Japan are little kids too.

Did you even see the dub on toonami? Sexy Jutsu was not edited. They took out the nosebleeding but I doubt most americans would get why they're nosebleeding. It's a part of Japanese humor that most americans won't get. They also kept in the scene where Naruto and Konohamaru go inside the bookstore and read the swimsuit magazine. So far, all the perverted humor was left alone.

Plus, it's running at a PG, the first time toonami has ever shown a PG show.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they're allowed to and will say Perverted Hermit. The word "perverted" isn't as much of a taboo for children's television as it was a few years ago. Now, even on Nickelodeon "make-out" is a very common phrase. Back when I watched Nick when I was little "make-out" was hardly allowed and was never used. One can easily see that this forum is dominated by the age-range most parents are concerned about when something questionable appears on television. I sincerely doubt anything will be done, especially since activists have things like the Hot Coffee mod to yammer on about, but in the miniscule chance that someone does have a problem with it I can only suggest that the child who affected by it simply talk with their parents seriously about the subject of sex and violence on television. I had to do this myself at a young age, sit my parents down and tell them I knew it was fake and that I just wanted to watch some television. It worked and they trusted me. Videogames, however, were an entirely different matter where my father was concerned.

Want to stem the flow of parental concern? Tell them they shouldn't be. If they hear that their child understands that this is just entertainment and they don't plan on emulating things they see on television they have a nice tendancy of lightening up. I'm assuming, of course, that your parents are reasonable adults who are open to the opinion of others. If your parents are not like this, well, there's always your friends' house.
