Quit being childish. Its not so much your parents fault but the general attitude of society itself now days. I mean right now the Moral Majority rules america and sadly for people who claim to be moral they have the most twisted and illogical view on life at all. Protect the children shield them from the facts of life is the attitude most commonly adopted. Rather than b!tch about it you really should go to educate your parents and keep them informed. With adults educated maybe it can oen day be seen as mroe than a 'cartoon' and hopefully nothing like what ym videogames are being viewed as demonized and like.

Uuuumm have you watched Americanized DBZ? The reason why it sucked so much was because Funimation aimed the show at little kids. They downplayed the violence, dumbed down the dialogue, and raped it in other ways because they knew parents in this country would freak out if all the blood and violence was kept in.

But now CN is showing the uncut version of the Saiyan Sagan and Freeza Saga, the most violent sagas in the series at 10:30 weekdays. Not only have there been no complaints, the ratings are also supposed to be good. If it wasn't for DBZ uncut which aired at a PG rating, I don't think Naruto could air with a PG rating on toonami at 9:00 pm.

Yeah, but at least they fixed that now, airing the uncut ones, giving us some hope for the new shows coming out. I didn't find the dbz edit too bad, i liked DBZ when it came on tv. Seemed like a good show even with the editing. (At least they didn't give Zarbon a macho voice so he wouldn't seem gay, lol)

If you're parents prohibit Naruto, try and see it from their point of view. Sit down with them and have a calm discussion. They'll probably see it from your point of view,too. That's what I do when ever I want to read a new manga/watch a new anime/go some place. If they say no, I DON'T freak out and just bide my time, act extra good, and then ask again.

I don't throw a temper tantrum, complain that they never listen, then go on an anime forum to complain about said events.

Also, you'll be much more respectable if you improve your grammar to the point of being legible, ok?

White Eagle, though, seriously, please condense your thoughts and make fewer, but more relevant posts. A topic is not designed for the creator to respond to EVERY SINGLE POST. Run your comments through a spellchecker and just...try. See how I'm typing? It's a good idea to be closer to this than 'well yeah basicaqlly no iffence i do it alot too'. On a forum you have TIME to do this sort of thing. Topics stay around for a long time - this isn't AIM or whatever where you need to respond immediately. Keep your thoughts focused on one subject rather than going all over the place.
