People always come with characters that are well-known to some and totally obscure to others. So what we need is a powers directory where we can come in regularly and add new characters and their powers and when people see errors, they alert the author and he changes what needs to be changed.

I'll start things off with a few characters:

Dark Schneider (Bastard): (Tri Sapphire)

-Has 200+ instantly regenerating shields that can each more than hold out against an atomic blast each and even if the attack is greater, one shield will absorb the entire shock no matter how powerful.

-Can instantly regenerate as long as his eternal atom is attacked so the only way to beat him would be to destroy all 200 some odd shields and attack him with enough staying power to blast every atom into nothingness, however....

-Can move at speeds much faster than light

-Can will himself back from nothingness as he is the Dark Adam and ONLY another Adam can kill him permanently

-Weakest attack can split the world in half, stronger ones can destroy a galaxy.

-Holds the 7 pieces of the Judas Pain in him which is essentially reality itself. He can't be willed out of existence, sent to another dimension and imprisoned, or go back in time to kill him. It also eats at his soul, but he waves off most the effects except memory loss, meaning no psychic power in the universe can mind control or mind rape him.

-Has Spellbound, a shield that changes with his desires. He can make it so there is no air at all in an area he chooses or can prevent physical or energy attacks. He can also place specific limitations.

-Has slept with ever woman in the series and can seduce any woman.

-Has the highest level spells of every magic type but white.

Super Saiyajins(Dragon Ball Z):
Goku, Vegita, Gohan, Trunks,Goten

-Super saiyajins cannot survive in space, they can move at the speed of light only with the instant transmission technique(Goku only). They can get pretty close to light speed in full combat though.

-Are completely immune to conventional firearms like bullets, tanks and such

-Super Saiyans at level 3 seem to be able to shout holes in different dimensions.

-Can destroy whole Solar Systems.

-Their strength levels are not clearly defined but are around Incredible Hulk in strength levels.

-The angrier they get, the stronger they get, and if defeated, they come back stronger.

-Use various types of energy shields to protect themselves from harm and range from an energy bubble to an ultra-thin layer of energy just above the skin.

-They yell alot:)

Spiderman(Marvel Comics):
-Strength when in a calm mood is around 10-15 tons but when in hyper mode has gone as high as 40 tons in the past.

-Speed is enough to dodge machine gun fire in a small space

-Spider sense enables hims to sense any and all types of danger to him and automatically moves his body away from the source of danger when he goes into spider-sense mode. In this mode, he does bother processing the signals with his brain and lets the spider-sense control his body.

That's the reason why he can still talk as if nothing's going on and keep dissing his enemies, he doesn't even need to think to dodge.

-Webs, are strong enough to hold the Incredible Hulk and dissolve after an hour. They used to be made in a lab but are now organic so he never runs out.

-Wallcrawling, you can't pull Spiderman off a wall unless he wants to be pulled off the wall and lets go so he can basically stick to your face and rip it off if he wants to. *Ouch*

Hunters(Hunter X Hunter):
A lot of them but you'll usually see Gon, Killua, Kurapica or a member or Genei Ryodan on this forum.

-Strength varies greatly amongst themselves but is something a regular human cannot bear at all.
Weaker hunters like Killua and Gon can push 16 ton doors without the use of nen and kick holes in concrete walls. With the aid of nen, Gon has punched an enemy from one country to another country before.

-Speed is pretty standard amongst hunters with all of them being able to maintain speeds faster than a horse can travel for long periods of time. In fight situations, they move faster than bullets easily and this leads into

-Destructive power of hunters varies greatly but for the ones that will be listed here, they can easily take out an army complete with tanks, machine guns and the works and Killua has done so already.

-A normal human can in no way harm a nen-user in a fight and if you don't have nen, are in danger of something called a baptismal where they attack you with their nen. This can do anything from killing you straight up if you're much weaker to only maiming you or activating your own nen if you're capable of using nen.

Silver Surfer
Herald of Galactus, keeper of the Power Cosmic:

-Can rearrange matter basically at will, has been shown to blow a hole in a building and rebuild it while fighting an enemy at the same time.

-Can travel at up to light speed, faster if entering hyperspace.

-Telepathic control of his surfboard, his powers are in no way connected to the board, but most people will assume it is.

-Cosmic awareness: SS's senses are... Impressive, to say the least, he can sense most attacks long before they can hit him.

-His cosmic powers makes him near indestructible, he can also use his matter-rearrangement powers to heal himself in case he actually *would* get hurt, it takes "complete molecular dispersion" to actually kill him.

-Can use solar powers to further boost his strength, speed and energy-blasting powers.

Thanos of Titan

(From Marvel's own site)

"Thanos possesses the superhuman physiology of all Eternals, granting him superhuman strength, endurance, reflexes, and agility. His skin in nearly invulnerable, particulary against heat, cold, electricity, radiation, toxins, aging, and disease, and he can survive indefinately without food or water even before his "curse" from Death left him immortal, unable to die. His mind is also invulernable to most forms of psychic attack, and can project a psionic blast of energy as well as blasts of plasma/cosmic energy from his eyes and hands. He usually employs a hovering chair with additional offensive weapons and has the ability to teleport fantastic distances.

- Resistance to virtually all forms of injury

- Psionic blasts

Thanos has been able to stand up to a full-powered Odin (who can literally unmake people with a thought) Because Death refuses to let him come near he *cannot* die, under any circumstances. He has taken hits from the Beyonder and lived, heck, he has taken a full-powered blast from Galactus and still stood on his feet (albeit barely) Thanos is also one of the most intelligent creatures in the universe.

Galactus

-Can rearrange matter at will, project incredibly powerful forcefields (basically unbreachable) blasts of energy powerful enough to destroy stars.

-Is very hard to kill, if he *should* die, the universe ends, as he's an integral part of keeping it together.

-Eats planets. Usually using some kind of machine (because it's less wasteful) but he can eat them without it.

-Capable of infusing another being with a fraction of his power: Such "heralds" include Silver Surfer, Air-Walker, Firelord, Nova, Terrax the Tamer, Mhorg, Red-shift and Stardust. Endowing such a being with power does not seem to weaken him much.

-Exact power-level dependant on how recently he has eaten.

-Can make telepathic contact with anything that has a mind and read it's thoughts.

The Incredible Hulk(Marvel Comics): Wikipedia

The Hulk possesses an incredible level of superhuman physical ability. His capacity for physical strength is potentially limitless, able to lift huge amounts or make leaps spanning several miles in his "Savage" or "Merged" forms. In most of his incarnations, and especially in the "Savage" incarnation, the Hulk's strength increases proportionally with his level of emotional stress, which is usually, though not always, quite high.
The Hulk has shown a high resistance to physical damage nearly regardless of the cause (whether it be artillery shells or falls from a great height), and has also shown resistance to extreme temperatures, poisons, and diseases. In addition, the Hulk's body can regenerate damaged or destroyed areas of tissue at an amazing rate, far faster than that of Wolverine's healing factor.
In addition to his physical power and healing ability, the Hulk has demonstrated a couple of supernatural abilities. First, the Hulk has the ability to "home in" on the desert base where he was created. This appears to have been caused by a connection with the spirit of the Maestro, his evil future self, which ties into his second mystical ability: The Hulk is able to see and hear ghosts (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghost), such as the astral (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Astral) form of Dr. Strange (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dr._Strange). This ability may be caused by Banner's fear that his father will return to seek revenge for his death.
The Hulk's body also has a gland that makes an "oxygenated perfluorocarbon emulsion", which creates pressure in the Hulk's lungs and effectively lets him breathe underwater and move quickly between varying depths without concerns about decompression or nitrogen narcosis. It is not known if the Hulk has always had this ability or if it has developed over time.

More info on Dark Schneider. Some of his accomplishments, which I have grafted together from discussions that used to be held on the GameFAQs message boards. Some of this info may be warped by time, but the basics in each paragraph are very close to fact.

-Even before obtaining the Judas Pain, or unlocking his half demon powers gained from his physical body, which is the reincarnation of Lucifer himself, DS: Broke out of Hell, melting the lake of Cocytus (a lake eternally frozen, one could say it was of cosmic origins) with a basic level fire spell, and destroying one of Hell's continents on the way out.

-Another note on the shield is that they can all take an atomic level blast constantly focused on one point of the shield for over an hour before breaking. They can also be broken by gathering the raw mystic powers of the universe (the basis of magic. it's a force which permeates everything, and could be thought of as the forces of creation/destruction) into physical attacks.

-DS (and most of the high level archangels and demons) can gather the raw mystic power in the universe into physical attacks, making them more than just physical, and into a pure destructive force which can't be nullified by any barrier (including DS's own).

-DS also sealed a powerful Demon who held a piece if the Judas Pain in a dimension that was worse than Hell. It was nigh inescapable and is a constant drain on the willpower and energy of its inhabitants, and DS simply kept the demon in there for eons in order to weaken him enough to take the Judas Pain away from him.

-DS annihilated a powerful archangel while missing everything from his shoulders down, besides his left arm.

There is much more, but that's all I can remember. Some of it may be kinda warped over time, but most of it is close to fact.

Saga of Gemini From Saint Seiya.

Some info.
He is the man that killed the last pope Shion (the leader of the 12 gold saints and Athens sanctuary) who was said to be the wisest & strongest out of the 88 worriers. A Saga a gold saint himself took after killing took the identity of Shion assistant (in the anime it was his younger brother) and next in command to become the new Pope. After tricking everyone that he had disappeared and thought to be dead he took the identity of Arles and thus became the New Pope after killing Shion. Saga himself is probly one of the wisest, strongest gold saint that few would challenge. But he suffered of Dual personality. In one side he is the kindest, pure hearted man and in the other he was most evil villain. While he struggled to control his evil side eventually it took over completely and went on to with his next plan to kill Athena himself and grab her Two weapons (her staff that will grant you victory and her shield that would concur any attack) and the complete control of the Sanctuary and the 12 gold saints. This way no one would stood up to him not even the gods such as Poseidon or Hades. Eventually the five bronze saint deliver a powerful blow that would crack and shatter Saga evil side. Once he came into reason of all the things he did he committed suicide.

Saga is the man in charge of protecting the Gemini house from any person who would try to invade the Sanctuary. Thus making him a gold saint.
The ranking system used in the Sanctuary is like this.

To become Pope most of the time they are elected from one of the 12 gold saints since they are the strongest or elite out of the group.
A Gold Saint’s armor is near indestructible.
Has reached the 7th sense the essence of the cosmos. (all people have remains of the big bag in them which grants them their cosmic power. Plus he can fight at the speed of light. All worriers that reach the 7th sense can move at that speed.

Abilities
*Anaza Deimenshon*; Saga can twist and manipulate the fabric of time and space and send any opponent to another dimension. *Gyarakushian Ekusupurojon.* is a technique that does what its name says. While perforating his attack you can see the stars and planets exploding giving of a powerful blast to an opponent. *Gen Rou Ma Ou Ken* is a technique that places an opponent under his command. In his hypnotized state he will obey and use his abilities to his fullest to kill his opponent. The opponent can only be snapped back into normal conditions if he kills and see him die in front of his eyes.
Saga also can take away you Five human senses (kind of like Shakas but more simplified) he used it against Ikki in the final battle of the 12 houses rendering Ikki a living veggie.

One last thing is that Saga has an identical twin brother name Kanon who is almost powerful as he.

Super Saiyajins(Dragon Ball Z):
Goku, Vegita, Gohan, Trunks,Goten

-Super saiyajins cannot survive in space, they can move at the speed of light only with the instant transmission technique(Goku only). They can get pretty close to light speed in full combat though.

Instant Transmission is INSTANT...therefore, it is far faster than the speed of light, but seeing as how you need to lock onto a ki signature to use it...it is a horrible thing to use against an opponent that is fast enough to kill you in seconds. Also, Saiya-jins get nowhere near the speed of light in combat....

-Are completely immune to conventional firearms like bullets, tanks and such

-Super Saiyans at level 3 seem to be able to shout holes in different dimensions.

Gotenks at SSj, who is stronger than Gokuu at SSj3, could not scream a whole into a different dimension. Gokuu at SSj3 cannot do it...so it is not SSj3's that can do it...it is how much power you have...

-Can destroy whole Solar Systems.

-Their strength levels are not clearly defined but are around Incredible Hulk in strength levels.

The incredible hulk lifted a 150 billion ton mountain...Gokuu at base could not move with 40 ton weights on him....nowhere NEAR the same league...

-The angrier they get, the stronger they get, and if defeated, they come back stronger.

The anger making them stronger mostly pertains to Halfbreeds...

The Silver Surfer possesses the "Power Cosmic," which was granted him by Galactus as a part of the process of physically restructuring the Surfer's former organic body.

Powers:
He has the ability to channel ambient cosmic energy into his body at will, and expel it violently as concussive force or gently as a means to restructure molecules according to his mental design.

He can generate beams of energy through his hands with sufficient destructive force to shatter a planet or generate such subtle amounts of energy to restructure the molecules of the natural pigments within a plant to change its color.

Guts is really a character that makes an easy fight for him. guts wields his sword easily and accurate, strong and can take alot of damage. And the biggest reason is his Berserk Armor, the Berserk armor gives Guts armor sourronding his own body protecting him from attacks and boast up his power, making him God-like. People forget that Guts could take down God-like figures, and apolstles.

Lord of The Nightmares (Slayers)

The Lord of Nightmares is the supreme being of the Slayers' universe. She created the demons and the gods of the Slayers' universe. She is the source of all magic, but the most powerful spells, Giga Slave, Dragon Slave, and Ragna Blade, are Black Magic, and draw energy directly from the Lord of Nightmares.

The Lord of Nightmares lives in another dimension, called the Sea of Chaos. Also, there are four staffs extending out from the Sea of Chaos. At the end of each staff is one of the main universes. One staff has the universe for Slayers, another has the universe for the anime Lost Universe, and the other two are still unknown as to what universe they hold. The Lord of Nightmares watches over all four main universes.

She doesn't interfere with the progress of the universes, unless the situation requires it. There is only one known instance where she directly interferes in the Slayers universe. The Lord of Nightmares decided to kill Hellmaster Phibrizo, the leader of the 5 demon lords of Ruby Eye's universe.

Hellmaster Phibrizo has a bag of marbles, and each marble was connected to someone's life. When the marble was broken, that person dies. Hellmaster Phibrizo actually killed off the entire Slayers Next cast using these marbles, while trying to get Lina to cast the Giga Slave, and send the universe into utter chaos for eternity.

But the Lord of Nightmares used her powers, and killed Hellmaster Phibrizo very slowly and painfully.

The Choushin: Tsunami, Tokimi and Washu (Tenchi Muyo)

The Choushin are high-level entities who created the multiverse and other dimensions as well. However, at some point they became aware of the possibility of a higher-level entity than themselves -- a kami. As Zero couldn't prove the existence of Tokimi-sama when she saw her, the Choushin couldn't prove such an existence, nor could they create such a person. So for a very long time, they did things to try to see if this kami existed or not.

Eventually, the three sisters came upon a new plan of attack. Washu placed her Choushin powers and conscious into three gem-balls, then created an infant human body for herself in the 3rd dimension. She had no memories of anything prior to being left at the monastery and she then set out to learn everything that could be learned from scratch. With this approach, she hoped to find the kami.

Tsunami came to the 3rd dimension as well. Using her own existence, she attempted to create a new type of life -- the Royal Trees on Jurai. However, with the man who would become the first Emperor of Jurai, Tsunami saw potential that a superior life form would be born from them. Thus, she swore to protect him and his descendants while she waited for the birth of Sasami (whom she was destined to merge with) and Tenchi, who is the kami they sought.

Tokimi-sama followed the original plan and distorted the harmony they had created in the multi-verse . She did this to cause anomalies from which she hoped the kami would emerge. Z was the result of her actions and Tokimi took him as he was the greatest potential she'd found.

The Choushin considered (past tense) Tenchi to be another potential (albeit the best one yet, due to his material conversion ability), but Tsunami and Washu decided that they cared more about Tenchi as a person than whether or not he was that superior hyper-dimensional being. That is why Tsunami interfered and Washu said that she wanted to leave it up to Tenchi. After Tenchi killed Z, it became apparent that Tenchi was indeed that being that the Choushin were looking for. That is why Tokimi became ecstatic and Noike began to cry happily.

However, as Tsunami and Washu stated, finding out should be fun and not rushed, therefore they will continue their lives on Earth with Tenchi. Whether Tokimi joins them or not remains to be seen.

It can be disputed whether MacGyver is to be placed in the cosmic or semi-cosmic range when it comes battledoming. Although many have expressed wearyness over the fact that this quite normal human repeatedly is heralded as greater than any given demigod of a character, the fact remains that MacGyver has never lost to anyone. Given three random items, he will defeat anyone, anytime, as these three objects always are exactly what he needs to defeat this particular enemy using chemical/scientific/whatever methods, but only barely. Macgyver always wins by a hair, but he always wins. The formula (as I formulated in another thread) is as follows:

MacGyver + three random objects = the enemy at any given time + 1

I hereby propose that people stop posting MacGyver fights because, to put it bluntly, it is always an overkill. The only way to make a balanced Macgyver fight would be to strip him of one or more objects, which would probably render him completely human and make for a boring fight. Could possibly beat God himself, although that is a theological question and quite outside the scope of this post.

Weapons: A sword and a sheath

Powers:

Reflexes and general physical related body attributes at a level far superior to humans.. see below fro elabaration

Able to predict the movements of opponents to a degree and lets the user maximizes his agility.

Ablity to within stand dying from fatal wounds and body depriving attacks and fight on- given enough time to do so.

Able to augment his speed in dodging, dashing or sword speed to it's maxium and even beyond said maxium when faced with a opponent who threatens people lives.

Able to withstand low level mind attacks.

Explanations of His physical prowness/ elabaration on his powers----

Speed- This divides into 3 sub sections:

Dashing speed Ie how quickly Kenshin is able to rush towards opponents before an attack.

This speed could be viewed as being up around the 200 mph mark. No I'm not wrong. Dashing has a correlation to movement from the speed of 0 to whatever miles perhour.

Kenshin speed has allowed him to disappaer from the view of others.. over distance of several feet.. like 10 or 20 against shojirou.

Sword Speed: The speed in which kenshin can swing his sword.

Kenshin speed here is Up to an engineer or mathematicians so it can be determined exactly, but using the spiderman comparasion I've been going on, Kenshin sword swing speed in normal terms when you are within range of his sword is the equivalent to being shot point blank with gun.

His Maxium sword speed is superior to that of a machine gun.

IN mode Dodging speed: As we all know Kenshin is an anime char so his speed is sometime satirical- like where he gets hit by kaorou domo.. or against char like jinei where his speed literally increase as the level of danger increase.

Kenshin can and has dodged bullets, from a gatglin gun a CANNON and those big slow ass guns. Spiderman use spider sense to do this and this is more due to his agiltiy 15 times greater then any humans. Kenshin cannot continous dodge bullets to spiderman degree but he can dodge bullets. Therefore Kenshin dodgeing speed is equivalent to him having a low leveled spider sense, but a limitation on the natural agaility of his body.. thus he is unable to use it to spiderman degree.

I'll tie all these to the other abiltiy.

-Now

Strength
Due to the various degrees of kenshin speed this transgrates into other abilties. Kenshin is not considered to be physicall strong persay, However given his speed and reflexive abilties, he can easily knock people over with even his sheath, by strking them. As well as knock out people whose very bodies are meant to with stand physical attack of monstrous kinds. Case in point Shishio and Sanosuke. Kenshin speed and reflex are at such an attoned level of wickedness that he was able to cause bruises and outright tear into the skin.. attacking the eternal functions and thereby causing death.

-The fact that kenshin is using a reverse blade is meant to attest to just how great the force of being hit by a skilled swordsman blow is.

Stamina
Kenshin stamina is Ennane and by comparision would be similar to spidermans. He can be hit by vicious blows, and use countless attacks and still perist at a high level.. fighting on spirit alone. -(Don't give me that shishio said he slowed down...Stamina is diffrent from wound infliction recover. Kenshin although a stamina monster is still human and thus with particular injuries his human genome is affected, but only slightly. Furthermore kenshin can just raise his level to the point where it is not effected.

Endurance/Resistance:

Kenshin can be penetarted by any typical object, meant to cut into wounds however, blunt force damage is lowered due to his training. His endurance level allows him to withstand blows that posses level 1-5 ton damage.

The proof here comes from sanosuke and from Aoshi (who hit kenshin and is stronger then sanasuke) Sanosuke is able to knock over the average adult male using one finger and tapping with minial effort. At there maxium level pre futen he could punch holes threw walls as well as break metal jail bars, ocks and cause cracks in the ground. With the futen he can pulverize huge rocks and or other things of even greater density.

Thus Kenshin Endurance level against blunt force is at 4 out of 7 on the marvel metal cards scale.-the same as spidermans.

Attacks:
He posses Attacks against both ground and aerial foes. Plus an attack that utilize the centrigual force of gravity to draw in opponents and basically paralize them from movement not oreinted in that direction unless there strength is at a sufficent level to circumvant said a pressure level that exceed that of several tons.

In the Old West, there was a killer who was the most ruthless, dangerous and vicious murderer in that part of the world. One day he killed a gang of Indians for the bounty on their scalps and found a woman they had kidnapped. After spending weeks being beaten and raped, the woman went with him to her hometown. After becoming bored by society she decided to travel with him and became his wife. Eight years later the killer’s wife and daughter became sick with fever. He went to the filthy town of Ratwater to get medicine and ran into Gumbo McCready, a viscous bandit. Later on, a snowstorm put McCready in his path. The killer knew he had to kill McCready and his gang. They were too dangerous to live. After half his gang were killed, McCready shot almost all his horses and escaped. The killer took meat from the dead horses and walked all the way home. By the time he got back, his family were dead.

He prepared a small arsenal of weaponry and went back to Ratwater, which McCready had taken over. He killed many and cut off McCready’s hand but was killed in the process. Meanwhile, in Hell the Angel of Death had become bored of his job. Killing people for millennia had taken it’s toll on him and he wanted a replacement. Then the killer arrived in Hell. His hate for McCready was so powerful it had frozen the fires of Hell. The Angel had found his replacement. In exchange for being allowed to go back and kill McCready, the killer agreed to become the Angel of Death’s replacement, the Saint of Killers. After killing the Devil for a derogatory remark, he went back to Ratwater and killed McCready. Then he lost control and wiped out the entire town, damning himself forever. Then he went to Boot Hill and slept in a grave until he was awakened.

The Saint was woken by a trio of incompetent angels and sent to kill Jesse Custer after Genesis escaped from it‘s prison. The Saint killed fourteen cops and massacred a bar of innocents. Jesse used to Word on the Saint to make him stop shooting, thus incurring the Saint’s wrath. The Saint calmly left, swearing to kill Jesse. They didn’t meet again for many months.

The next time the Saint encountered Jesse, it was at the Grail’s base in France. The Saint killed an entire army before Herr Starr used an angel’s knowledge to convince him to spare Jesse, otherwise he’d never find out who killed his family. Herr Starr blew up the base. When the Saint climbed out of the rubble, he declared war on the Grail. Shortly afterwards Jesse had used a voodoo priest to talk to Genesis. He discovered that God created the snowstorm that put McCready in the Saint’s path because he wanted a new Angel of Death and knew the Saint would agree if he was given the chance to kill McCready. Jesse met the Saint in Monument Valley and told him how God killed his family. Enraged the Saint massacred an army until Herr Starr had a nuclear bomb dropped on him. He emerged unharmed.

The Saint wasn’t seen for a while after that. Jesse summoned him using his bones and convinced him to join his plan. God is still a runaway but if he gets to his throne in Heaven, he would become invincible. After the final battle between Jesse, Cassidy and Starr ended with the deaths of all three, Genesis escaped from Jesse and God went to his throne. However the Saint had got there first and killed all the Angels. God begged to be spared but the Saint refused. God asked him what he wanted and the Saint simply said “To Rest.” Then he pulled the trigger. After that he sat down on the throne of Heaven and slept, surrounded by corpses.

The Saint of Killers is completely indestructible. Nothing can kill him, from a bullet to an atom bomb. His Colt revolvers never run out of bullets, never miss a target and always give fatal wounds. His only hindrance is the power of God when on his throne.

Id, also known as 'Grahf's Second Advent,' came into being in a Solarian laboratory, when Fei was approximately four or five years of age. Though Fei was initially able to cope with the painful and torturous experiments performed on him there, they soon became too much for him to endure, and he retreated into himself. This prompted the creation of a secondary personality, which was used to deal with those things Fei could not. This persona eventually took the name of Id.

Despite the fact that Id wielded the power of the Contact, he was unable to exert complete control of the body he shared with his progenitor. Only when Fei's mental strength was very low, could he manifest himself fully.

The first such instance occurred when Grahf appeared at the Wong's home, and attacked Fei's father, Kahn. The stress of this, in addition ot the sight of his Miang-possessed mother, Karen, standing coldly by as Grahf defeated her husband, was too great for Fei to handle. Id surfaced and released a large amount of ether energy, which would have in fact killed him had his mother not used her own body to shield the boy.

Following those events, Id--now holding complete control over his body--worked as an assassin under the guidance of Grahf. Employed by the Sacred Empire of Solaris, he was primarily used to quell and eliminate various insurrections, the most notable of which being that of Elru. He destroyed both the rebelling country and the Solarian military unit under the command of Kahran Ramsus which had been overseeing the operation, fueling further the latter's hatred for Fei.

Id's life as an assassin ended at the age of fifteen, when Kahn appeared and confronted him. Creating a third, entirely new personality, Fei's father buried Id beneath it, temporarily sealing him away. The exhausted and badly wounded Fei was subsequently delivered by Kahn--then in the guise of Wiseman--to the village of Lahan, where he lived peacefully until the beginning of the game, when Id once again manifested and utterly destroyed it and many of its inhabitants.

Personal comments;

Id; Is also nown as "The Demon of Elru" "Slayer of Gods" When he is first encounterd "in the game He single handledly took down Ramsus (who owns a powerfull gear and is also a high ranking Solarian officer) and made short works out of both Bartholomew Fatima Ship and Gear (He picked the ship with on hand by himself anyone who's ever seen the clips from the game know what im talking about) and forced Ramsus army to retreat after sustaining injuires (yeah ripping of the head, leg, and arm with such ease made me feel guse bumbs when it was my turn to fight him). Id/Fie are the same person but Id seems to tap into using the contacts power with greater ease, (The Id/Fie are the true contact and can use the Zohar inf power as at thier will)

Other than maybe Elly when she Becomes "Antitype" and "Grahf" might be able to challange a Full Grown Id.
In fact Grahf and Id fought when Id was around 13-14 years old, and Grahf bearly won. (Grahf is has acces to the Zohar but he is not the true contact so he is not granted the full power of it and want's to take Id's body when its ready.)

Later on Id in a rage Took down the Intire Solarin Empier by himself. We never had a chance to see what Id could really do if hi's perfonality would have bien dominante, and Seen what he could do With Xenogear.

In Id''s/Wetall no one could take him down, I can only I magine what he can do in Xenogear.

I dont think Deus would have a bien much of a chance agianst Id in his Xenogear. (Deus being the main Villan and all)

Id by himself can take down Gears with his bear hands. (Giant Robats- about the size of a Gundam maybe) with his bear hands, and is 99% compatible with Wetall so in his gear he is more then several times more powerfull.

Id to my point of view goes down the history books as one of RPG's most badass Villans. And to any rpg lover that still owns a PS1 or PS2 I deffinatly recomond Xenogeras. (one of the most badass RPG if not the best RPG ever.)

Recently, some threads involving Dark Schneider have popped up in the Outskirts Battledome and many had to acknowledge that DS is an incredibly powerful opponent and that he is hardly ever to beat.

A lot of the info around the net was summed up in the power directory but the sources have often been only other boards and may be rumors.

I’d like to add/correct some facts about Dark Schneider as I did read the manga up to volume 22 – the last one to be released in Germany. I don’t know whether the manga still continues elsewhere or not so I don’t know if the things in there have changed. I will only tell you what I know from 100% reliably sources, the manga up to volume 22.

**

First, something in general about Dark Schneider.

-Dark Schneider is human
-Dark Schneider was probably created artificially (more about that later)
-Dark Schneider is a powerful vizard
-He uses elementary magic (fire, earth, wind, water – prefers fire) and black magic but NEVER white/light magic
-He is way over 400 years old
-He has slept with many women in the series but NOT with all of them (more about that later)
-As resulting from above, he can ALMOST seduce any woman in the series

recent changes:
-Dark Schneider turned into a Majin (a human that became a demon and is more powerful than a devil or an angel)
-Dark Schneider obtained at least 6 of 7 pieces of the Judas Pain (he stole them from the Demon Kings, the highest demons in Hell, direct subordinates of Satan himself)
-He absorbed the powers of the Judas pain and by activating them he turned into a Majin. That way, he fulfilled his fate and became the Adam of Darkness (more info later)

DS’s abilities:
As stated by tri-sapphire from several sources and corrected/added up by me

Has 200+ instantly regenerating shields that can each more than hold out against an atomic blast each and even if the attack is greater, one shield will absorb the entire shock no matter how powerful.

^ This is called Dispell Bound. Amount of shields wasn’t stated in the manga but depending on the power of the devil/angel the shields are pretty much uncountable and provide all kinds of protection, such as agains light attacks, fire attacks, against anti-magic spells, assimilation spells and so on. As for the strenght – the can indeed hold up against an atomic blast but not much more.

-Can instantly regenerate as long as his eternal atom is attacked so the only way to beat him would be to destroy all 200 some odd shields and attack him with enough staying power to blast every atom into nothingness, however....

^ except for the number of shields,which is uncertain, TRUE. To explain how it works: In case two beings with Dispell Bound ability collide, they have to destroy their eternal atoms, the core of their soul that keeps their existence in reality, to completely wipe out each other. Otherwise they can regenerate as often they wish. However, if a devils or angels eternal atoms are damaged while they are on earth they still can regenerate, while when a devil dies in Hell he stays dead and an Angel stays dead when his eternal atoms are destroyed in Heaven. To reach the eternal atoms they have to destroy the Spell Bound. This is done by re-writing the magical code of every shield the Spell Bound casts. Depending on the power, DS and Uriel may have Billions of shields and every single one has to be re-written in order to overcome it and to get closer to the eternal atoms. This is happening with hundrets of times the speed of light because while re-writing the shields of the opponent, the attacker is repairing his own shields. So, this battle is decided by uber-dimensional speeds and powers to overcome the repair-speed of the opponent and strike the eternal atoms. In order to destroy the eternal atoms a hit with the power of a nuclear bomb and more is needed. Fact TRUE.

-Can move at speeds much faster than light

^ as explained by me above. Fact TRUE. But his limits are probably up to 500-1000 times the speed of light but no exaggerated shit like Trillions or more. That was never stated anywhere so far. Rafael only explained that Uriel and DS where colliding several hundret times the speed of light.

-Can will himself back from nothingness as he is the Dark Adam and ONLY another Adam can kill him permanently

^ PARTIALLY TRUE. DS can theoretically be killed by anyone who manages to overcome the repair-speed of his Dispell Bound. But so far no one who can do that exists. Even Satan can’t do it. And since Satan couldn’t beat God and vice versa, I doubt God could do it either. Right now, that is, for both of them. Satan is a clever guy, he probably knows how to find ways to kill DS but right now it is not possible. Only a being with the counterpart abilities to DS, the Adam of Darkness, can kill DS permanently. And that is the Adam of Light. Who ever that will be. But yes, even if he is turned into nothingness, as long as only one of his eternal atoms exist, DS can will himself back from “nothingness”.

-Weakest attack can split the world in half, stronger ones can destroy a galaxy.

^ Never heard of anything like that since DS doesn`t have “weak” attacks when using the Judas Pain. But given, one of his standart and most preferred spells, the “Helloween” (a strong energy blast, the source of energy is some sort of other demon dimension) was strong enough to blow up a castle at the beginning of the manga. With Judas Pain, DS has the power to clast it without saying the formula for the spell and it is indeed strong enough to blow up a small planet. But it was never stated anywhere that he could destroy a galaxy. DS’s limits are yet unknown but since this is pure assumption and not based on facts, I have to say WRONG.

-Holds the 7 pieces of the Judas Pain in him which is essentially reality itself. He can't be willed out of existence, sent to another dimension and imprisoned, or go back in time to kill him. It also eats at his soul, but he waves off most the effects except memory loss, meaning no psychic power in the universe can mind control or mind rape him.

^ Including his own one, he is holding seven pieces of the Judas Pain. Since DS’s abilities included reality manipulation even before he actiaved the Judas Pain, I would say this is TRUE. Only someone with similar power to a piece of the Judas Pain or a part of the Judas Pain is probably able to keep up with DS but cannot kill him or think/will him out of existance or trap him somewhere without him managing to get out there in the blink of an eye. Mind control and similar shit isn’t an issue since he has the highest level of Dispel Bound known in all kinds of universes/existance/whatever there is. For details, look at the whole “can’t-be-defeated-by-anyone-except-Adam-of-Light-issue”. The price for this power is inimaginable pain for the body and the sould and it is slowly consuming his mind and his body. Hence the name, Judas PAIN.

-Has Spellbound, a shield that changes with his desires. He can make it so there is no air at all in an area he chooses or can prevent physical or energy attacks. He can also place specific limitations.

^ Surprisingly WRONG. Dispell Bound is/are multiple shields around the user. The specifications of the shields can be chosen at will and there is no limit to the abilties of the shield except one – they can’t be cast on someone else. Dispell Bound is cast as support by the user on HIMSELF. DS can’t use Dispell Bound to simply “will” or “think” breathable air out of existence at some certain space. He probably can do that with his vast magic powers but he can’t do it with Dispell Bound. Dispell Bound can only be used at himself and a certain area around him and around the space where he is moving. But he can’t use it at will at certain areas. Yes, he has the ability to shield others from side effects and destruction when he is fighting but this is NOT Dispell Bound.

-Has slept with ever woman in the series and can seduce any woman.

^ Haha. Very likely for him but WRONG. He has NOT slept with every woman and he CAN’T secude any woman.
Girls DS HASN’T slept with so far: Tia Noto Yoko (she is the most persistant girl and will probably NEVER let him get it on with her), Princess Sheela (hints in the manga but NO proof he did), Kay Han (hints but again, NO proof he did), Demon Kings Bilt, Astharoth and Paimon and Archangel Gabriel (they are female). There’s an unwritten rule that it is only a matter of time ‘till a girl will fall for DS. Tia Noto Yoko is the only one who has the willpower NOT to fall for him. DS has tried to do her countless times but he could never get it on with her. NEVER. Absolutely unseducable. So far, that is.

Alucard

Bio: The last true vampire. Son of Dracula. He serves Victoria Wingates Hellsing of the Hellsing organization, a branch of the british government that specializes in defense against vampires and other kinds of demons.

Equipment/Weapons: Uses with 2 large hand guns(can't remember the calibre or kind of guns so more info about them would be helpful) which use explosive bullets. Alucard wears special gloves with symbols that resemble transmutation circles(for those of you familiar with Fullmetal) that allow him to drive his hands through other vampires, completely destroying them.

Powers: Let me say this first, Alucard's powers haven't quite been explained in detail and we only know what we've seen so I'll try to explain them as best as possible.

Alucard has immense power so he uses seals to restrict his power. When he wants to use his powers he recites incantations and uses a certain hand seal. His incatation goes like this, "Invocation of Cromwell confirmed. Levels three, two, and one released. Releasing Restraint Control Technique System 2. Situation A. Activating limited engagement of ability protection until target is completely silenced." So from this we can see that there are probably a number of techiques in his arsenal with 3 levels of power to release. When he releases the first three levels eyes appear all over his body and it becomes all black then dogs come from his body and attack his enemies. Then his most powerful attack is Restraint Control Technique Number Zero-Open wherein all the souls within him are released creating an enourmous army to fight for him. Now this leads into the his next power, IMMORTALITY!

This is also in theory from what we have seen so far and I find it quite plausable but it is not yet proven so when we find out more info i'll update this.

Alucard is NOT immortal. I'll explain how it works. Everytime he kills someone he sort of steals their soul, so everyone he's killed soul is pent up inside of him. The reason he regenerates is because, say he gets shot in the heat, well one of the souls inside of him replaces the parts of him that were destroyed, so he just uses up souls, but if he were to be killed so many times that all his souls would be used up, he WOULD die. Recently in the manga he opened "Restraint Control Technique Number Zero" in which all the souls in his body come out and are an enourmous army. He has maybe a million in him I don't know. I hope this helps you understand how his "immortality" works. He ain't immortal, but he's pretty damn close to it.

Factoids: Alucard is Dracula spelled backwards.

The Borg:

An immensely powerful race of enahnced humanoids from the Delta Quandrant of the galaxy. The Borg implant themselves with cybernetic devices, giving them great technological and combat capabilities. Different Borgs are equipped with different hardware for specific tasks. Each Borg is tied into a sophisticated subspace communication network, forming the Borg Collective, in which the idea of the individual is a meaningless concept. The Borg exhibit a high degree of intelligence and adaptability in their tactics. Most successful means of defense or offense against them were found to work only once, almost immediately after which the Borg developed a countermeasure.

However, personally, I say that the Borg has one major weakness: network security. I can name two times where this had given them a headache:

1) In TNG episode "Best of Both Worlds", the Borg Cube orbiting the Earth was destroyed by a virus planted into the Borg Collective.

2) In TNG "Descent", the sense of individuality from a Borg Drone managed to get into the Borg Collective and an entire group of Borg lost the connection to the Borg Collective and became individuals. This also happened in Voyager as well, though I don't know about the specifics.

Just like it was mentionned before the saint of athena wears cloth which are their armors and basically composed this way:

representing a total of 84 saints. Being a gold saint is of course the highest ranking among Athena Saint and they all obtained the 7th sense that helps them goes beyond what a bronze or silver saint can do.

Beyond the gold saints... there are other beings who reached the 8th sense considered most of the time accessible to the gods only or people who went beyond mankind needs.

Each gold saint represents the zodiac and the one I am introducing you today is :
Shakka.

-Shakka is probably one of the most interesting gold saint around and represents the virgo and he is the reincarnation of Buddah.

-Unlike many other saints, Shakka fights all the time with his eyes closed as he doesn't need to "see" his opponent to defeat them.

-He is constantly floating in a yoga meditation pose.

-He is the only human who can talks to God directly.

-He can kill anybody on earth whenever he wants just by sending his "divine punishment" toward the target, a lotus technique where he projects his aura towards the opponent.

-He possesses the 8th sense... putting him beyond all athena saints since the beginning of the serie.

-Shakka is able to destroy all the senses of his opponent one by one. In the end, the opponent becomes a legume unable to battle.

-Shakka always proved that he could create many forms of illusions. One of his most powerful illusion is the palm of buddha... the victim believes that he has been running miles and miles but he is still at the same place... in the palm of buddha watching over him.

-Shakka was able to paralyze Ikki a bronze saint(on the other side of the planet) while he was fighting Shiryu, Seiya and Shun at the same time. The extent of his power on paralysis are unknown ( Anime only).

-He is also able to do one thing that nobody can do... he can send anybody in one of the different levels of hell in the buddhist mythology. He actually send your soul there, unless defeated, his opponents soul will remain in hell forever.

-Shakka stopped the rising dragon of rozan waterfall of Shiryu with one hand.

Might contains spoilers:

-His body was totally destroyed by Ikki (who self destructed himself to kill him) and he came back from afterlife with the help of Mu (another gold saint) and Ikki ressurected seeing how wrong he was in his battle against Seiya and his companions.

-Shakka voluntaryly let himself killed during the Hades Saga to be a guide to Athena in hell and it required that 3 of the most powerful ex-gold saint ( Saga of gemini, Camus the aquarius saint and capricorn saint(forgot his name) to do an athena exclamation ( the most powerful technique can only be executed by the combined power of 3 athena saints who reached the 7th sense, a forbidden technique with a power comparable to an atomic bomb and beyond.. can destroy the planet if overpowered)to defeat him. He fought the 3 of them at the same time.

-He has of course great wisdom and he is humble as he admitted that even someone who was supposed to be the reincarnation of Buddha could make some mistakes.

Powers/Abilities: Devilman's powers include heightened physical and mental capabilities; electricity/laser beam which come from his antennae; some sort of mental control from his antennae; flight; regeration from damage (his arm has been torn apart from his body before); and the ability to enlarge himself to a huge size.

History: (Devilman series, modified origin) Akira Fudo is a shy boy who is staying with his friend Miki Makimura while his parents are away on a business trip. One day another friend of his, Ryo Asuka (secretly the son of Satan), informs Akira of the existence of demons and how they once ruled the Earth. Ryo tells his friend that the only hope of defeating a demon is to bond with one, thus gaining its powers, and he convinces Akira that he should allow this to happen. The two go to a satanic nightclub, and Ryo launches into murderous assaults on the clubbers, hoping to draw a demon to them. As various party-goers transform into demons, Amon the Lord of Darkness turns up. He attempts to possess Akira, but the youth's pureness turns the tables, and Akira gains control rather than the other way around, becoming Devilman.

Devilman proceeds to battle and kill demons wherever he finds them, including Amon's former lover Shirenu. Eventually Devilman and Satan himself clash during Armageddon.

The Collector

He appeared in a superman cartoon.

He has two forms.

1st form is small and stumpy and he kind of flies around in this wheel chair thing. IN this form he abuse his minor psychihc abilities and many many gadgets.

His psychic ability lets him pinpoint the location of indivduals, and he can send message through there heads. He can also weaken them by projecting himself through there mind to a degree, so there kind of half stunned or confused.

He can move objects with his mind/ gadgets; only small things though... nothing enourmous.

2nd Form This form is huge and is basically like a huge octopus/ elephant that is about as big as a 10-20 story building

Powers:
Strength that rivals superman- so he's bovious a class 100 in strength.
Energy Blast that can stun superman- meaning these blast can kill alot of people.
Ability to basically create more of his body and extend his body where ever he wants... like mr. Fantantic. His limit in this was not made clear.
Abiltiy to regenerate his body at a fast rate.
Seems to posses bodily reactions that exceed that of the speed of sound at least.

BEST PART ABOUT THIS GUY IS His gadgets/preptime whorism

He is more of a preptime whore then batman.

Before he ever fights anyone he has there exact weakness, that he has studied, and abuses. Against superman he didn't even have kryptonite.. he made a special gas and energy to counter superman insane resistance, in order to hurt and knock superman out.

He constantly carries around this little attachment to his 1st form that fires beams of bio solar energy- that weren't really explained, but are just powerful.

Also has little gadgets he tosses out like little electric bombs.

Ways to beat him
He is a vain whore, and also does not like to kill he prefers to collect. When superman was aided by lobo and escaped he was trying to recapture them... lol it's his own wicked technology that made him lose... his entire wicked enourmous sweet ass ship exploded.. he didn't die though.

edit: Almost forgot his endurance is high because he toke a serious beating from lobo and superman, he was pounded on like crazy and keep coming for more.

Thor is the Norse god of Thunder, Lightning and Agriculture. As such, he controls storms, particularly rain and accompanying wind and thunder, as well as base elements. Thor also possesses enormous stamina, endurance, speed and is immune to all terrestrial diseases due to his god-like physical constitution. In addition, he is a superb hand-to-hand combatant, and is the strongest of all Asgardians, in the "Class 100" power range, or able to lift press in excess of 100 tons. Thor is also very cunning and intuitive in battle.
Thor's uru hammer, Mjolnir, amplifies Thor's innate control over the elements and can be used as a missile weapon by throwing it (which in return allows the hammer to return in mere moments, unless seized by others). Thor can also generate mystical blasts of unknown origin from Mjolnir, as well as magnetic and gravitional fields. Through concentration, Mjolnir can be utilized as a siphon to drain nearby sources of energy and magic, allowing Thor to rechannel these energies into energy blasts to either supplement or increase the energy blasts of Mjolnir. The hammer also allows him to travel between dimensions and points in space by creating gateways and can also allow Thor to fly by grasping the handle of Mjolnir after throwing it (extremely long distances are covered through a teleportational gateway). With Mjolnir, Thor can fly and navigate at multiples of light speed. He can also use Mjolnir to transport objects or people vast distances or into other dimensions. Thor can also use the hammer to drain energy from both humanoids and machines. He has used the hammer to channel such energy into an attack in the form of a mystical blast. Thor can also use the hammer to channel his own "godly essence" resulting in a massive and devastating attack called Unfettered Might and the God-Blast. The hammer is mystically enchanted so that only those of worthy character can wield it. Thor and few others have ever been found so worthy.

Yawgmoth:

Once a Thran, he gained so much power in time after he created Phyrexia that he was basically a death god- not the weak ones in Bleach but the type that can laugh at Silver Surfer, Hulk and many other non-cosmic characters

Abilities:
- formless, therefore invulnerable to most forms of non-magical attacks
- apparent invulnerability towards all colours of magic except white, and only intense ones since Yawgmoth managed to turn Serra's Realm, a plane (universe) of white mana into a plane of black mana.
- ability to kill anything with... well, just a thought: when Yawgmoth crossed into Dominaria, everything around him except for Phyrexians died instantly. No save and no regeneration.
- apparent ability to alter reality: Yawgmoth once re-created the dead Hannah to try to get Gerrand into his side. Also turned a white plane into a black one.
- (debatable) ability to "come back from the dead": Yawgmoth was supposingly killed by Urza's Legacy, which consists of a source of intense, white mana. However, he somehow came back. Not that is surprising (planeswalkers DO come back after being killed, for example Serra, and Yawgmoth is more powerful than the planeswalkers in the same magnitude as planeswalkers are more powerful than viruses) but the sources I have says that he survived Urza's attack.
- Phyrexian army: think Sauron and his orc army, except that Phyrexians are mechanical creatures and are at least tons more powerful than orcs. On top of that, any dead Phyrexian will be taken back to Phyrexian by Yawgmoth (another proof that Yawgmoth can alter reality) and studied so that improvements can be made to other Phyrexians. Think a slower version of Borg adaptation and that's about it.

Also known as Morningstar and Lightbringer, formerly the angel Samael. The first rebel among the angels and the undisputed ruler of Hell for millennia. Not too long ago, the Lightbringer had gone weary of his un-life. He abdicated, cut off his wings, and abandoned Hell. Since then, Lucifer has been seen vacationing at a beach in Australia, among other things. He has also assisted Heaven with taking care of an unholy spirit, taking the assignment in exchange for an apology and a letter of passage from the Creator. These days, Lucifer is the owner of the exclusive bar called Lux, located in Los Angeles, with his mistress Mazikeen on his side. His current plans are mainly unknown, but without any doubt, there are plans of infernal proportions. Hell's ruler or not, Lucifer is still one of the mightiest beings in any world. He recently created his own Universe as opposed to his creator's.

HISTORY

In the beginning there was only God, and God created the Archangels Michael and Samael, also known as Lucifer Morningstar, the bringer of light. Michael used his power to create the first matter, and Lucifer's will shaped it into suns and thus the universe was created. [Lucifer #26]

God preordained everything in the universe, everything was already written, and everything had to follow the script. Lucifer was a wise, caring and passionate angel and ultimately that was what brought about his downfall. The caring Lucifer questioned the Presence's master plan and the fact that he had to follow the plan too, and started a rebellion. Lucifer managed to get one third of the host of heaven under his banner and stormed the Silver City. The fight didn't go to well for Lucifer, his brother Michael had to much power in him, and pushed Lucifer's army to the edges of heaven, and finally, they were banished from Heaven. [Lucifer #11]

Around ten billion years ago after falling for an eternity they would up in the metaphysical realm that would one day become known as Hell. Realizing that it would be impossible to return Lucifer began his reign in Hell and became the undisputed Lord of Evil for ages. Though being the most powerful of demons, he rarely ventured from his throne in Dis. Lucifer ruled hell for ten billion years, but he never liked it, he got bored, so bored he manipulated the demons who lived in hell. He set them one against the other, let them faction, divide and plot.

At the end of a course of events known as "American Gothic", connected to the world-shattering Crisis, a force called the Ultimate Darkness arose and merged with the Divine. This resulted in a civil war in Hell, something which ultimately made Lucifer allow it to be ruled by a Triumvirate consisting of Beelzebub, Lord of the Flies, Azazel the Abomination, and himself.

One day, Dream of the Endless (Morpheus) decided it was time to get his ex-girlfriend out from hell, he was feeling a bit bad about sending her to hell and let her alone in that place for ten thousand years. Morpheus didn't want to go to hell; because the last time he visited the place, he embarrassed Lucifer, and Lucifer has never been very good in forgiving. But Lucifer was actually happy about Morpheus' visit, it gave him the opportunity to quite Hell. Lucifer kicked out everyone in hell, closed down all the doors and gave the key to Morpheus, hell no longer was the responsibility of Lucifer. Lucifer asked Morpheus to cut his wings, and Morpheus did. [Sandman Vol. 2 #21-28]

Having walked on Earth for a short while Lucifer later settled down in the city of Los Angeles, where he opened his own piano bar called "The Lux". His girlfriend, the lilim Mazikeen, became a waitress, and Lucifer played the piano every night. For a while, this satisfied Lucifer, he no longer ruled hell like God wanted. But it didn't last, Amenadiel of the thrones showed up, Heaven needed someone to do some dirty work, and of course, they decided to hire Lucifer.

Lucifer had to kill the voiceless gods, forgotten deities from a time when men were not advanced enough to imagine anything better than dark clouds as deities. He accomplished his mission and killed the voiceless, and he received his reward, a letter of passage, which allowed Lucifer to leave creation and visit the void. [Sandman Presents: Lucifer #1-#3]

Needing his wings back to navigate in the void, Lucifer visited Izanami's hell, because Remiel (who by God's order became the next ruler of hell and found the wings there) had sold the wings to the Japanese gods. Lucifer could not enter Izanami's realm with his powers and his immortality, so he had to leave that at the door, so to speak. Lucifer entered the house of windowless rooms, outsmarted Izanami's children, and got his wings back.

Amenadiel took the armies of heaven under his command and attacked Lucifer, to close down the gate to the void. But Lucifer outsmarted them too, he put a monster he had recently hired on the other side to eat anyone who dared cross the gate to the void, and he also rescued his brother Michael from Sandalphon, another rebellious angel. Michael has the demiurgic power, if he dies, the power explodes and wipes out the entire multiverse. No angel dared to attack Lucifer while he carried Michael's body, and Lucifer had promised Michael, that he would kill him, which was the only way to heal Michael, because it would allow him to resurrect himself without all the scars Sandalphon gave him. Amenadiel had two choices, let Lucifer kill Michael in creation and destroy everything, or let Lucifer keep the gate and kill Michael in the void.

Lucifer took Michael into the void and killed him, the demiurgic power created matter in the void, like it did when it created the original multiverse. Lucifer later shaped the matter into a new multiverse, creating worlds and galaxies. He then invited anyone who wanted from God's cosmos to live in his cosmos.

Lucifer currently watches over this new cosmos, and he only has one rule. You shall not worship anything, not even Lucifer, or you die.

POWERS AND WEAPONS

Lucifer is omnipotent, he can create his own universes on a whim, create life and create entire concepts like 'Time' from scratch.

His power is incalculable. He stood on ground zero of the demiurgic explosion, the explosion that could wipe out a multiverse, and didn't even get a tan.

Only his brother Michael is his equal in power, and only God is superior to both of them.

But the power Lucifer likes to use most is his brain, his devious bastardness allow him to defeat gods even when he is mortal and powerless. He is the god of deception and prep time. Compared to him Batman and Dr. Doom are babies.

Childhood

was born Christopher Charles Summers, the child of Scott Summers (Cyclops) and Madelyne Pryor (Madelyne Pryor was later revealed to be a clone of Jean Grey, created by Mister Sinister for the express purpose of mating her with Scott to create Cable. It was she who dubbed him "Nathan," in order to taunt Scott by reminding him of a childhood bully, as she prepared to sacrifice him before the X-Men and X-Factor saved him). Sinister carefully orchestrated Cable's birth, planning to use him as a weapon against his hated master, Apocalypse. Unfortunately, Apocalypse learned of this treachery, and infected the child with a techno-organic ("T-O") virus that would slowly kill him.

When Apocalypse was defeated on the Moon, a woman from the future appeared to Cyclops. Calling herself Askani, she told him that the only way to save his son would be for her to take him into the far future.

Future

the future, Mother Askani (a time-displaced Rachel Summers) had the child cloned, in case Nathan succumbed to the T-O virus. Minions of Apocalypse attacked and stole the clone, whom Apocalypse raised as his heir, Stryfe.

Using her chronoskimming power for the last time, Rachel pulled the minds of Scott and Jean into the future, where (as "Slym" and "Redd") they raised Cable for twelve years. During their time together, the "family" prevented Apocalypse from transferring his essence into a new body, ending his reign of terror.

The vacuum of power was filled by a group called the New Canaanites, led by Stryfe. Cable was arrested, and learned from fellow inmate Blaquesmith where to find the last enclave of the Askani. Blaquesmith helped him escape, and Cable joined the Askani resistance against Stryfe and the New Canaanites.

Savior

recently, however, Cable achieved the peak of his powers. Knowing this could not last long before he burned out as X-Man almost did at those power levels, he arranged for what he thought would be the best thing he could do in his last days. He recreated his long-destroyed spaceship Greymalkin as the airborne city of Providence. Although a mishap meant that the teleportation matrix on board registered Deadpool as him, meaning that he could not use it without taking Deadpool with him (and Deadpool could trigger a "Bodyslide" too), he continued with his plan to espouse a philosophy of moderation, and offering invitations to the world's top thinkers, scientists and philosophers to live on Providence. Delivering a stark message to the world's leaders, he deliberately set them all against him by threatening to throw all their missiles into the sun. Meanwhile, the X-Men, including his father Cyclops, hired Deadpool to put together the pieces of a mini-teleporter that they could use to stop him without quite knowing what it was. After they mounted an attack on Providence, Cable confessed to Deadpool, after DP had declined to play his role and disable him, that he'd wanted him to kill him, expanding on this to Cyclops that he knew he was about to burn out and wanted to set an example of how the world could work together, even if it was against him. However, the Silver Surfer, called by the Fantastic Four, saw his "passion" and, disturbed by it, defeated him in battle and ripped the techno-organic tissue from his body, disabling him. As Providence (which had been supported by Cable's TK) prepared to crash into the ocean, Deadpool teleported to one of Cable's safehouses with him and, at his prompting, used the teleporter to lobotomize him to save him from burning out, giving him a few seconds to lower Providence gently into the ocean and give a final message to the world.

While he was left in a coma, and with many people around the globe now referring to him as "the Savior" and applications to immigrate to Providence going through the roof, Deadpool hired the Fixer to bond benign techno-organic mesh to Cable, saving him, although he remains hugely depowered.

Shortly thereafter, Cable vanished in killing a mutant-hunting beast called the Skornn at the head of a reformed X-Force. Cannonball and Siryn then travelled to Providence, with Forge in tow, to try and find any trace of him, and whether he survived. When Deadpool, having been brainwashed by a supervillain information broker called the Black Box to kill the "Greatest Threat to Mankind" teleported to Providence to find and kill Cable, who he percieved as the greatest superhuman threat. After Cannonball and Siryn had calmed him a touch, he suggested they use his teleportation-link with Cable to find him, and Forge constructed a harness to allow the two X-Force members to follow him.

They then proceeded to travel through three alternate worlds, one where Cable had become War, a horseman of Apocalypse, one where Cable had succeeded in his messiah-like mission and had become a benevolent dictator, where even mild indigestion was immediately dealt with through outside help, and one where Cable had become the central consciousness of a Phalanx infestation of Earth. Finally, they landed in the House of M reality and found an infant Cable being raised by the marginalized Mister Sinister on a farm. Sinister used an extract from Deadpool's immune system to trigger Cable's powers and would shortly begin to rapidly age him, before Deadpool grabbed the baby and teleported home seconds before the world reverted to normal.

There, when Forge ran tests and discerned that the child was, in fact, the real Cable, Deadpool's brainwashing kicked in once more and he attempted to kill Cable. Siryn and Cannonball delayed him until Deadpool shot himself in the head. As Cable rapidly aged back into mid-childhood, he read Deadpool's mind and found who had brainwashed him. As X-Force went to confront the Black Box, Cable decided that to he wanted to have his memory restored, and to cure Deadpool's brain damage, even though it would once more cost him his powers. He succeeded, although X-Force found only a LMD Black Box at his base, and he soon returned to his original age, whereupon his accelerated aging stopped.

Cable formerly possessed high-level telepathy and telekinesis, which his use of was highly limited by his need to constantly use his telekinesis to retard his techno-organic infection. Currently, after his lobotomy and replacement of the T-O-infected tissue with benign techno-organic tissue, he possesses only very limited telepathy and telekinesis. He also had the potential for astral time-travel, much as Rachel Summers had. However, he has only used this once, and then under great strain and with help. Whether or not he retains this after recent experiences is unknown.

His left eye glows, for some reason related to his mutant powers (quite possibly as a vestigal result of his father's genes). Nate Grey (X-Man) shares this feature. He is trained in the use of many futuristic and conventional firearms, as well as guerrilla tactics.

This is where people think Cable is unbeatable. His godlike powers lasted for about 7 issues. It is true that he can read the mids of everyone on the planet, and go toe to toe wit the silver surfer, but so could X-man, and he burned out very quickly because of this. If Cable hadn't got the lobotomy to power himself down, he'd be dead. His powers now are still impressive, though nowhere near the cosmic like level they were earlier.

Character biography
Deadpool was formerly a government special operative who had contracted terminal cancer. He volunteered for the clandestine Weapon X program where he was mutagenically altered. This process granted him a superhuman regenerative healing factor allegedly based on the DNA of the mutant Wolverine. This process stopped the progression of his cancer and greatly enhanced his physique. However, the cancer interacted with the mutagenic process in unanticipated ways; disfiguring him horribly and making him mentally unstable.

Although he retained his sense of humor this process left him jaded. Deadpool soon left the Weapon X program and began work as a mercenary. Typically, he worked for villains such as the mysterious Mr. Tolliver. This initially made him an adversary of Cable, Wolverine, and the New Mutants (later X-Force).

Eventually, Deadpool became less of a villain and more of a reluctant hero, though the element of his moral ambiguity always remained. It was later revealed that he had friends, such as Weasel and Blind Al, that he was loyal to and cared about. As the character became more developed it became obvious that although he carefully projected the guise of an invincible, merciless, gun-for-hire, he was actually an insecure and severely scarred man, emotionally and physically, who used his sardonic wit to cope with reality and deal with relationships.

The character frequented a hang-out spot for mercenaries called "Hell house" with its own odd cast of characters, an often comedic rivalry with a man named T-Ray, and eventually the inclusion of Deuce the Devil Dog, who originally belonged to Franklin "Foggy" Nelson, best pal and partner of the Marvel Superhero Daredevil. Deadpool ran into other mercenaries, such as the Taskmaster and Bullseye during his adventures.

It appeared that Deadpool was killed in an explosion fighting the aristocratic (and telepathic) villain known as the Black Swan. Swan had infected Deadpool with a virus that would erase his memory in retaliation for several of his successful mercenary hits which had been erroneously attributed to Deadpool. This led to an escalation of events in which Swan murdered a man known as Nijo (who had discovered that Swan had killed his brother) and a duel with Deadpool. Deadpool and Swan then fought but as result of a miscalculation on Deadpools' part all parties were seemingly obliterated.

Weeks later, a mysterious figure showed up at the apartment of Deadpool's manager, Sandi Brandenburg, who gave him the name Alex Hayden, and they started "Agency X," with Hayden dubbed Agent X after the company. Most believed that Hayden was Deadpool, with a case of amnesia. In fact, the truth was more complicated, as shown when the Black Swan showed up with a "tabula rasa" Deadpool in tow (who Hayden immediately shot in the head). It was revealed that "Hayden" was really Nijo's corpse, which had been revived and given Deadpool's healing factor by Swan's out of control mental powers (Swan had also received a copy of the healing factor), and whose mind was created from an amalgam of Deadpool and the Swan. And that Deadpool's personality was growing back (unwittingly accelerated by Hayden's bullet to his head).

In an attempt to regain the parts of his mind he had lost, as well as remove the pieces of their minds he wanted rid of ("You and Wilson have my skills, Mr Hayden. In return, I received a taste for Radiohead and an encyclopedic knowledge of pornographic knock-knock jokes. Yes, I'd like to switch back if possible"), including Nijo's sense of honour, Swan proposed a three-way mind meld. Hayden agreed. However the Swan, being an evil cad, attempted to double cross the other two and kill them as soon as it was complete, but while he concentrated on Hayden, Deadpool immediately stabbed the Swan in the back. Deadpool, Hayden and Hayden's allies Outlaw and Taskmaster eventually defeated and killed the Swan, and had him stuffed so that the healing factor couldn't resurrect him (Hayden would later be shown using the corpse as a surfboard).

Deadpool is currently partnered with his former enemy, Cable. Recently, Deadpool and Cable were involved with a terrorist plot aimed at unleashing the shape-shifting "Façade Virus" upon the world. After both were infected with the virus it was necessary to merge their DNA structure so that now Cable has some of Deadpool's DNA and vice versa. As a result of the Façade in his system, Deadpool's face was temporarily cured of the hideous scarring. Once Cable shut down all infections of the virus worldwide, however, Deadpool was returned to his usual self. The exchange also resulted in Cable and Deadpool sharing large amounts of DNA, so that whenever Cable uses his teleporter to "bodyslide", both he and Deadpool teleport together -- sometimes literally (a "bodyslide by one" results in them being badly integrated into a single body, forcing a messy separation, which, thanks to the DNA share with Wade, Cable is also able to recover from).

Powers and equipment
Deadpool has been artificially endowed with a superhuman regenerative healing factor by the Weapon X program. As Deadpool had cancer at the time of the gene therapy which endowed him with these abilities, his cancer interferes with his healing factor and it is therefore not as consistent as that of the mutant the healing factor was allegedly based upon: Wolverine. Deadpool's body is literally at war with itself.

This entails that he can regenerate and heal hundreds of times faster than a normal human, and has recovered completely from injuries that would have killed most humans, even those with superhuman abilities. He can regenerate organs such as eyes and large portions of flesh, and even completely severed hands and fingers (when his healing factor is operating at peak capacity). This "healing factor" also grants high resistance to most toxins and diseases, gives him enough stamina to exert himself at peak levels for days.

As a byproduct of his unique physiology he possesses a degree of enhanced strength, agility and reflexes. A byproduct of the interaction between his healing factor and his cancer is that his mind is unstable and resistant to telepathic manipulation. This mental instability varies between either being slightly scatter-brained, blackouts wherein he may perform any number of actions up to and including murder without remembering, or even suffering from full blown psychosis complete with hallucinations. Usually, he is in the first state.

Aside from his physical advantages, Deadpool is a superb assassin and mercenary. He is a master of multiple forms of armed and unarmed combat. He favors bladed weapons as his primary means of dispensing his enemies as he feels it is more honorable to meet opponents in single combat, but if he is having a bad day or in a hurry he will just shoot them. He typically carries a small arsenal of both experimental hi-tech and conventional firearms and bladed weapons. He owns a personal teleportation device, usually located on his belt. This device is used to teleport him out of, and occasionally into, trouble.

Deadpool, unlike most characters, is aware he is in a comicDeadpool has actually met and established a relationship with the personification of Death in the Marvel universe, and as a result has been cursed by T-Ray, at the behest of Thanos, to be unable to die. This is a plot point that may or may not be advocated by some writers.

Deadpool's speech and thought balloons and captions are usually colored yellow, to represent his distinctive voice. In his earliest appearances, his speech balloons were normal balloons with yellow borders; in later appearances, the interior would be colored yellow and the text would be written in a slightly mangled font.

Breaking the Fourth Wall
Deadpool is one of few Marvel comic books that have broken the "fourth wall" and called attention to his nature as a comic book character. This may be due in part that early in the series when Deadpool had dealings with the Norse god Loki, he was told the secret of the universe by the trickster god: "There is a man with a typewriter...". Whereas books like DC's Animal Man and Doom Patrol did so for the purpose of meta-textual analysis and postmodern deconstruction, Deadpool's banter to the reader was always more along the lines of Looney Tunes cartoon styled slapstick. In fact, early on in the series, some ads for the book came with the tag-line "Deadpool: Breaking down the fourth wall, brick by brick!"

At the end of Agent X #15, upon coming back from the dead, he wonders if he "still thinks in those little yellow boxes". In the current Cable/Deadpool ongoing series, Deadpool occasionally narrates previous events for the reader, on one occasion mentioning that the book's editor told him that the current reader is the only person who has actually bought the book. The character also makes frequent in-jokes about the comicbook industry.

History: Nathaniel Essex was a biologist in Victorian England who developed advanced theories on human evolution. A geneticist of unparalleled genius, he foresaw the coming mutations that would transform mankind. However, his unorthodox experiments resulted in his ouster from the Royal Society and caused his wife to shun him. These rejections led him to ally himself with Apocalypse, an immortal mutant who has witnessed virtually the whole of human history. Apocalypse transformed Essex into the ageless being known as Mr. Sinister.

Sinister has conducted numerous experiments in his time. He operated an obstetrics clinic in New York in the late 19th century and performed side research on society's deviants. As Dr. Essex, he influenced the work of Herbert Wyndham, the man who became the High Evolutionary.

Sinister plotted the course of certain gene pools for more than a century, discovering that the combination of Scott Summers' and Jean Grey's traits would produce a mutant of incredible power. The future Cyclops was brought to Sinister's orphanage in Nebraska, and the geneticist collected a blood sample from the girl who would come to be known as Phoenix to confirm his findings. Following up on his genetic pursuits, Sinister set in motion the so-called "Mutant Massacre."
