Well, there is no point in complaining. I will just get negative rep or stating my oppinion so I wont even bother. Though I will admit, its not as bad as it could have been. Plus, I'm glad they didn't go by Art of Doppleganger because that was just gay. Now, we just need to find out if they will keep Byakugan's name!

Crispin Freeman played Ebisu! He's probably my favorite right after Scott! And the person who played Konohamaru was PERFECT! And she also plays Ino so it's all good. And I like Naruto's voice! Sure it was choppy at first, but by the second episode she got good.

Granted Iruka's did good but it just didn't fit his character. And Mizuki and the third's voices fit but they weren't that good. But other than that the casting is great!

The editing was cut to a minimum and they did a great job in translating. They kept the Sexy No Jutsu! With the name! And the clouds! And they ran into a bath house and looked at girls in bikinis! GO THEM!

The new OP and ED is a bit dissapointing but I didn't they CN would bother getting the rights to that anyways. It's in Engrish and Japanese, not good for the target audience.

The VA's did a fantastic job and I hope Crispin Freeman will double as Gai like Konohamaru's VA!

I was very pleased with Ebisu's VA. Naruto's though, I'm still getting used to. His insults cracked me up though. I died laughing at the way he said "I don't care if he's your grandMOTHER!!" XD Can't wait to hear the others! *Gaaraaaa....* I'm dying to hear Gaara and Kankurou's!

My only complaint is that Iruka's VA could get better in the acting department. Besides that, they were all good. Konohamaru was DEAD ON.

indeed, I was very happy with the dub :D horray for not ruining my favorite anime. Some of the editing were understandable and overall I am very pleased with the outcome, and it will only get better as they progress (especially when we get to hear Blum as zabuza)

Yes! Many thanks to the Voice Actors. Everyone did a pretty good job. I was surprised and pleased to hear Crispin Freeman :laugh ! His voice fit Ebisu perfect! Hopefully he can do other characters as well!

I'm looking forward on seeing how the other characters are dubbed. It will be interesting to hear how they are, lol.

Well... Since this is a "thanks" thread, I'll hold back on giving all my feelings on the voices for the characters... But I will say that I thought the voice for Ebisu was done quite well.

Viz did an excellent job. Considering how many things that they could of done wrong, they did alot of them, right. I thought I recognized Crispin Freeman as Ebisu. He did a damn good job.:thumbs I liked Hokage and Konohamaru as well. Naruto will take getting used to, but overall, Maile performed excellently. The "Believe it" was a nice substitution for "Datte ba yo" and perfectly fits Naruto's character.

Yeah it was pretty good, i think as the series goes along and they get more comfortable with their characters, the voice acting will get better and better

Yeah, I enjoyed it, a few flaws here and there, but nothing is perfect. 9tales is right. The early voices for FG were different and changed to the voices we all know and love so give it time. And they weren't lifeless as some people would believe.

It was Michael Reisz. I could tell from the preview on CN's site. I've watched enough Digimon to know that voice anywhere.

Didn't get to watch it (no cable in my dorm), but my sister held the phone up to the TV so I could hear. I actually liked Naruto's voice; I thought it fit him pretty well. Sounded the right age and everything. Hinata sounded excellent, and I honestly thought that it sounded like the Japanese actress speaking English. And Tom Gibis? I was pleasantly surprised. After hearing his performance as Michael in Digimon, I thought that was his only range. Good to know it's not.

I absolutely LOVED Ebisu's voice in the dub. It suits him perfectly. And Konohamaru's voice is pretty decent as well. I also liked Shikamaru's as well. Naruto will take some getting used to, but I think I can live with it. The only voice I hate is Sakura. They totally butchered her voice, but then again, Sakura's japanese voice sucked too.

Overall, a pretty good dub.

hm.... how should I put this. I did think it was going to be much much worse. Will I openly praise them, um.. no. I am grateful that it seems they put forth effort. Ebisu was by far the best, but then again Crispin Freeman is my favorite voice actor and I do hope he returns for a bigger role, I agree that he'd make a good Gai. I though the 3rd's voice was going to suck and I was pleasantly surprised that he didn't. Iruka's was alright, especially since you won't hear his voice very often. His emotion scene sucked though. Naruto.... well it'll take about 100 or more episodes to get use to. Sakura's voice was terrible, though inner Sakura she did alright. I'm not terribly pleased with Hinata's voice, but it could have been worse. I'm worried about Sasuke's and Kakashi's voice. I mean I didn't like how Iruka couldn't pronounce Uchiha, so I just hop Sasuke's VA gets it right. I hated hearing jutsu be pronounced jootsue, but oh well at least they didn't slaughter technique names though the verdict isn't final until I hear Sharingan, Byakugan, and Ino's Shintenshin No Jutsu done. I'm also interested in stuff like how Katon: Goukakyuu No Jutsu and the others are done, but I guess over all it wasn't as bad as I originally feared and it definitely wasn't as bad as One Piece. I can more or less compare it to Konjiki No Gash Bell's dub since it's done by the exact same company, and Gash Bell's no completely horrible either, so I guess that it for what's worth. Anyways I guess I should say thanks for not screwing up and totally sucking.

Lol, at first...I actually hated Ebisu's dub voice. But you guys reminded me that this guy's a closet perv, and now I think it suits quite well.

Michael Reisz was a good Mizuki. I think he's a pretty good VA, except for his Takuya in the dub Frontier which killed my soul. But then again, I adore Takeuchi Junko-san, so it probably wasn't a fair match to begin with. I knew Mizuki's voice sounded familiar, though. "He sounds like dub Yamato..." Well, that makes sense now.

Konohamaru's voice was great. Colleen O'Shaughnessy has a tendency to make her characters sound nasal, which irks me slightly, but she erased all that for our beloved "honorable grandson," so props for her.

Iruka...his voice was all right, but his acting sounded stiff. If he loosened up a bit, got into the character a little more, he'd be great.

Hokage-sama's voice I think fits.

Naruto's will take a bit of getting used to, but I don't hate it. I think it'll do just fine. I wonder if it's possible for Maile Flannigan to do that voice without the rasp? The rasp irritates me just a tad, but again, I'm not hating. I'm sure she'll be a fine Naruto-kun.

I'm not going to comment on any of the other characters' voices, like Sasuke, Sakura, etc. because most of them said like what...two, three lines at most? I'll wait till ep. 3 for Sasuke and Sakura's to fully judge. I'm finding that I think Yuri Lowenthal will do justice to our young Uchiha, despite the fact I hated his dub Haru in the Rave dub because he was so emotionless at times. But maybe I was being too hard on him because Rave is my baby. ^.^;;

I think the only way I'll ever really hate this dub is if they give Rock Lee and Kabuto suck-arse voices.

I liked mizuki's voice. Hinata voice sounds just like her japanese counterpart. Her voice almsot gave me a woody! She sounds like she does the sexy jutsu moan as well. Sandaime sounds great, and Shika sounds like he doesn't care. the only 2 things I don't like are how they pronounce Uchiha 'Ooh-chee-ha' They emphasize the wrong syllable so it sounds kinda retarded. And that they don't call the kyubbi a demon. What's gonna happen when Gaara started taking about the demon in him?

Eh, they'll probaly just bring up demon for the Gaara scenes, then it's gone from the other episodes, did anybody hear Yuri's Sasuke voice? I think it's perfect, plus I heard he was fluent in Japanese, I guess that explains why I heard him saying serveral words correctly :tem

I am VERY impressed with the dub so far. Like I've said in other posts... we're only on the third episode and they've done WAAAAY better than most of us expected. I love that they kept the translation true to the story and didn't cut too much out. I'm happy that they did so well with the dub and I look forward to the improvements as the series goes on.

And for the VA's that aren't EXACTLY dead on... they'll grow into their characters. And really, if you think about it, you can't expect them to have the EXACT same voices as the original seiyuu. It's virtually impossible. What's most important is that they get the lines, emphasis, and the overall personalities of the characters down.

And honestly... doing that using JUST YOUR VOICE has GOT to be hard to do. They're working really hard on it, I'm sure, so I'm happy they brought Naruto to America. More props to Naruto and Kishimoto Masashi.

So thanks to all the voice actors, if you're reading this.

And remember, fans... they've gone way past our expectations. At least it's not about "Nate the ninja and his friends Shawn and Sarah and their teacher Mr. Smith who reads the Bible every chance he gets."
