I actually know who Kakashi's voice actor is. He's a guy who did the dub voice of Takumi in Initial D. I can remember his voice not being very deep, almost similar to the Japanese voice of Takumi. However, it'll be good, I'm pretty sure about that.

YEAHHH!!!!!! I know what Takumi voice sounds like. Im not sure about him doing Kakashi's voice since Kakashi is much older than Takumi was. But i know hes gonna do a good job since Takumi was so calm and cool all the time and so is Kakashi.

Dave Wittenberg will kick ass. If you payed attention you could hear his voice during the transition clips they play in between the show and commercials. "A trap?!" in reaction to a trap sasuke set when fighting him.

He sounded fine to me. Dave has a lot of range. He can be kiddy like he was in Digimon, or he can have a deep, awesome voice like he did as Katana in Gad Guard, or a nice guy voice like he did as Kaoru in Ai Yori Aoshi.

In one of the little preview type segements that they show when they go into commercials during Naruto they actually played a clip of Kakashi and you heard his voice. It doesn't sound anything like the japanese voice. Atleast judging by the small clip that they played.

HOLY COW! That was my exact thought when I heard his vioce!! I'm glad I'm not the only person who thinks so, lol. Anyways...yeah...not exactly the laid back Kakashi vioce I'm used to listening to. Doesn't work for me. :darn

i saw one of toonamis classic previews of later episodes when i was watching naruto and it had a small clip from the show with kakashi speaking...his voice was calm and collected yet he sounded younger than he should and like he was still innocent and not the hardened shinobi that he is...
