so, this one wasn't a piece of cake, don't know why. but is finish
after trying a lot of color effect (chiyo-ba's hair in green ^^ (but at least she hadn't punk style :/)), i hope those are not so bad.
i hadn't apply any effect on this, maybe later, i was happy to finish.

Thank you for your comment. I really hope you add some effects. Although some might like it this way (simple i.e. one colour), I find it more interesting with shading (something like your previous coloured page).

Anyways nice to see we now have two coloured pages from the new chapter (I believe Dyanmic dragon coloured the cover page on the shannaro forums)

well heres mine its kinda of an old chapter, and thanks to zarosaki for making the great tutorial that taught me how to color. and if anybody knows any tutorials that could help me learn how to color like in cell shading please pass them down this way (oh yeah and sorry i forgot to put the page number on the pic i kind of colored too fast)

i'll try tomorrow maybe (before or after add effect on mine) (two coloration for one chapter.. i work too hard, i know :p). I wanna do this in first, but i prefer sasori, so i decide to color a page with him inside.

Okay I deleted it, but I doubt that you have seen it, because I just posted it yesterday a half an hour before the thread got closed. I assume you people will look in the new thread and therefore will overlook the coloured page I made. So that was why I posted it here. Btw: another reason to post it here is to get some comments, because the other thread is closed. :sweatdrop .... Nevermind

And thanks zero_absoluto, it's not really that hard. It took me about 2 to 3 months to colour like that. I meant the style not the page itself....:P

The threads aren't made when the new chapter comes out, they are made based on which Shannaro chapter will be released next. If you post your work here, they'll use it for the release of chapter 274.

Well I figured I'd go ahead and post these again since I used them in my pitch for Zarosaki. I wanted to do some awesome stuff with them once I banded them together, but I'm not totally for the whole 'conformist' thing. I really wanted it to be about each person's individual style. So I'm going to create another group, which as of now still unamed. If you just like to color, in your own special way, and want to be part of a big project like this, feel free to respond here until the new thread is up.

We gave up with the cellshading. So, now, everyone can and is coloring the way they want, just use our palettes and be semi-good and everything works.

Though, there's still some quality factors like coloring the black parts and "you-must-shade" that you have to keep up with, but the style is pretty much free..

And what it is that's wrong with Zarosaki? Seems like every other person would rather create his own group then join us :crying

I think TheExa covered most of it, but I'm gonna reply too:

As Exa said, we gave up on cell-shading-only a long time ago. We saw that this scared away alot of people, and have tried to correct that mistake, but obviously, we've failed. However, this isn't shown very well with the releases we already done, but with our chapter 252-261 project, all members are free to do their own style: Cell-shading, semi-soft shading, soft-shading, paint-style shading,a mix between everything and everything else you'd might want to do. The only requirement is that you follow a palette, to prevent f. ex Sakura in page 2 to have a red shirt,then in page 3 to have a purple one, etc etc. As long as you know how to do basic shading, everyone is free to join. We didn't set up palette/shading requirement to be mean, it was to prevent big changes between each page (See our chapter 245, and compare it to 250, where we used a palette). We actually wish everyone to join Zarosaki! :glomp So instead of starting another coloring group, wouldn't it be better to get everyone together? We're at around 60 % done with our project, 120/203 pages completed. We get new members from time to time, and we've personally tought people how to color step by step in our irc-channel, besides our tutorial. Their improvements, are, in my opinion, far beyond what we could have hoped for and at the same time awesome.

Edit: I was also made aware of one other thing that I think I should bring up...
In the beginning, we kinda...um..."took" the project away from StoneWalker, who was in charge. If anyone still is resentfull to us for that, we're truly sorry, because not only did it start us off on the wrong foot, but we know a lot of the earlier members quit because of that...so...sorry.

Yosh, go to our forum at http://narutocommunity.free.fr/shannaro/showthread.php?t=249 , pick some free pages and tell us there which ones..use palettes and your own style, etc etc. We're glad to have you onboard (again kinda).
Sasuke page: Good, but remove the grey noise on the lower panels.
This can be done by the dodge tool, with highlight setting, or deleting it.
Sakura page: Good, except that you haven't shaded the black parts.

Looking forward to seeing some pages from you. :)
