Are any of you New Yorkers/Tri-State area dwellers gonna be a part of what's going down at the Garden the next few nights? [Madison Square Garden]

Apparently, according to Hot 97's Funk Flex, numerous multi-platinum artists from New York will be setting foot on that stage tonight. I should be going either tomorrow or the day after.

It's gonna be the jumpoff; that much I'm sure of.

Poor R. Kelly...He seems to have gotten kicked out of his own event. ROFL!

Deeebo0o'd!

thats all i heard today on the radio..they had both Jay Z and R Kelly explain both sides but i think its just alot of posturing *shrugs* with the amount of influence that both of these guys have..esp Jay Z in this situation since this IS NYC and not Chicago..ill be surprised if there is a concession from either side...regardless its funny stupid drama.

LOL.

Yea, it is funny; I've been laughing about it since the begining. I thought the same thing at first too. About the posturing, that is. If they're both frontin', though, they deserve an award because their performance is very believable, to say the least. What I really want to know is who [if anyone from Roc-A-Fella] sprayed R.

I just dont like rappers Shouting "Murder" in front of little teenage girls...kinda makes me sick... kudos to him for beeing able to "act" in a Fast and the furious flick. Still... being in the entertainment bizzness isn't always fun

He has plenty of songs where he doesn't talk about that type of stuff. Besides, what else is he suppose to rap about, that's the kind of stuff he knows about. It's not his fault that teenage girls that don't know what they're hearing listen to him, but I do understand where you're coming from, a lot of his best songs aren't his singles.

yeah, it's all about the image, talent isnt a requirement anymore since they can master every aspects of a recording session. i wont talk about britney lipsynch...let's say the image of what we listen and see at tv should be more Human and not like treating each other like trash or always competing against each other...."like citizens of a higher plain"( naz quote )

Yeah, a lot of the time it is about the image, but in my opinion I think Jay-Z has the skill as well

I was saying the same thing, and he [& company] proved me right; the show was awesome. Live from start to finish. 23 different performers came out and tore up the stage in their own way. They destroyed Madison Square Garden.

By far, the best concert I have ever been to.
