OMG!!! I love this series!! I'm on the 7th book so far!! Ever since it made me cry I've been crazy for it!! I think it was the second book when that one dude died getting eaten by that stupid wolf dude...now I'm starting to cry again!! WAHHH!!!

I'm up to book 2, read the first in one day. God these are great reads. Can read a chapter in short burst and it's almost never boring. :)

I like Darren Shan, but I haven't gone past the 4th book...for a number of reasons.

I got worried about the series after Sam died, because I loved Sam, but then I lost interest after the whole Debbie + Darren romance was over. It was so hard for me to get past that because I loved Debbie too!

So yeah, I tried to get past those losses, but after Evra Von started to get all "grown-up" and boring I gave up. I was frustrated how Darren and Evra's friendship went down the toilet in like...two sentences of detail, haha.
Don't know about now, but the Darren Shan series was a pain to find in bookstores here. Most of my books had to be backordered. D:

Unn, I think I'll go back to reading it again...I'm kinda missing Darren now.

Trust me i am up to the 6th book and it's worth it. The forth kinda bored me but the fifth is great and the ending is....extremly crazy. You got to keep reading man, KEEP GOING...and debbie comes back :P

Ok heres a general guide, book 1 and 3 are great, 2 not so much. 4 is a bit meh, 5 and 6 are good. 7 is a bit strange but leads to 8 which is good. 9 is a shocker. 10 is wtf. 11 is meh and a bit of wtf. And 12 is :arg, :) :D: and WTF! all rolled into one.
