Well has anyone played it yet? Ive beaten the game and all the bonus dungeons/optional bosses.I hink the game is GREAT, while the story may be whats lacking the most the gameplay and battle system make up for it greatly. I dont really have a problem with the story but it could have been done better.Anyway i give it a 8.5/10 :)

after beating it all and doing all the stuff i like SO3 a lot more, i dunno i guess its the item creation and weapon building that make it even better. It seemed when i got the hardest bonus dungeon is when i really started to love it.

I started to love it when I first heard the song in royal city of airyglyph =)
The music is so amazing in this game!

It was pretty good, I haven't gotten around to beating the bonus dungeons yet. I miss the item creation system from SO2 though.

I like it quite a lot. The story is engaging to me at least. Another win for square-enix

It's about damn time I meet more SO fans. I'm only 20 hrs into the game since work and school has taken almodt all my gaming time but is there really any connections to the other games other than text references in the option menu?
I've played the JAP version ( sounds stupid but I guess Im really playing it for plot's sake but I knew it was an empty expectation)

i know i just brought up an older topic but i need to ask you people who have played this why my game is messing up. i need to know if i did something or its the game being stupid.
when i fight in battles, either cliff or fayt(whichever one im not using at the time) will get stuck. he will just stay in one place during a battle and not fight at all. or he will actually run away from the enemies. the enemies will try to attack him and then he will just run into a corner or run around. then if i switch to the other one, i can move him but then the one i was using is now like the previous one and either won't move or will run away from the enemies. i need to know how to fix this cause it sucks that i can't use all my characters in a battle. it started happening when i was rescueing tyneev and farleen, kinda at the beginning of the game. i think thats why it only happens to either cliff or fayt cause when it started i was only using those two guys.
please respond or PM me if you know whats wrong. i really want to start playing the game more. till i find out how to fix this, im proly just going to invent stuff.

I absolutely hated this game. The fighting is not to refurnished. They could've done something to it. The story was terrible! Did you get to the end? What was all that about? Not to mention the ending was waaay toooo long. I really cared about no one in this game. the characters weren't lovable like other games. Thumbs down. The music was lacking too. That techno rock thing.. no.

A great game with gorgeous graphics, excellent battle-system, awesome puzzle and dungeon mappings, and amazing gameplay....the only downside is the character voices...THEY SUCKED!
so i give this game 8/10
owh yeah...my character lvls:
Fayt: LVL 203
Nel: LVL 201
Clive: LVL 205
Strongest enemy beaten: FREYA! :laugh :laugh :laugh
(damn i was so happy after beating her...)

well, firstly you have to go or upgrade one of the workshops so that synthesis could be possible. Secondly there's synthesis items which is quite hard to find so make sure you made up your mind before using it.
synthesis items such as orichalcum (which if added to your sword, will plus your ATT *not STR* by 500) will have a 100% chance of success, which means synthesizing items to a weapon will NEVER fail...but will cost some Fol..check your inventory for other synthesis items and try some if you have enough Fol...

OMFG, you only do 1k plus doing air raid?
i do 70k+ lol ( i spend alot of time and money working on my divine avendger )
if i were you i would put all 8 slots full of +30% defence/attack on ur best weapon.
you get that factor from boots of prowless.
it will take some fol tho=\

In SO:TtEoT, when do I leave Elicoor? I want to know so I can save two files right before I leave, and have Nel leave with me in one (eventually getting Albel) and have Roger leave with me in the other (eventually getting Peppitta).
Also, if I give an item to someone that lowers emotion, does that lower emotion towards all characters other than Fayt, or does it lower emotion toward Fayt?
Well I only played a few hours in. I liked the battle system and I was really into the whole atmosphere and setting as I haven't played that many Sci-fi oriented RPGs. Though I only got to the first forest right after you land on the "technological-backwards" planet.

i liked the battle system better than tales of symphonia, but i wish SO3 could have been multi-player like ToS. anyone play secret of mana and can vouch on the multi-playing rpg goodness?
overall, loved the game, had awesome characters and was fun to play, but i think the story after the first half really fell apart. good game!

I can vouch for SoM, but not ToS since I never played that. The multiplayer experience in SoM was outstanding. Me and my brother beat that game together, I always chose the sprite.
Anyway.. SO3 was pretty good I thought. Obviously not as good as 1 and 2, but it was still fun to play. Not sure why some people bash it so much.
