that's the weird thing. In his sprite for the ending, his hair looked long, but for his picture in the redone ending, he had short spikey hair.

Well remember that the Artist that did GT took over for the cutscenes for Chrono Trigger. I find it rather amusing, because the original artist for DB/Z and Chrono Trigger were the same while the person who took over for GT then took over for the Chrono Trigger cutscenes when Akira Toriyama wasn't available :amuse

it's this thing where your finger replaces the mouse. you move your finger around on the pad instead of a mouse. it's a hell lot harder to use. drawing with your finger on a touchpad would be crazy.

lol don't worry. I'm not in a frog cult :laugh. I was just testing a new way of making gifs and what not since I was trying to figure out how to make a good gif avy for Shiari. I think it worked. Oh and I liked that scene as well.

It was the one where it looks like Frog was hitting his head. I just figured out how to make the animations a little smoother, while shrinking the kb size instead of raising it. :pleased

I have gotten the file down to 105 kb, but I need to reduce it to 100kb somehow. I also was able to make it look smoother as well, but those 5 kb are bothering me. Hopefully I'll have the avy done by tomorrow. Then I'll make another little frog gif with less animations from the same scene. It won't really be that flashy though.

Plus now that the three main people from Square are leaving to make their own company, the Dream team that made Chrono Trigger will mostlikely be lost forever :(

i've created like 7 threads or so and mostly they're just for arts i've done except for some scen's FC.

i'm a one piece fan too. it IS really good. i mean the drawing really kinda seems to suck compared to things like bleach and naruto, but that's their style. the series is really funny. you definitely should watch it homohumpittydumpity.

Well... Shounen is more action, and usually doesn't have to much of a love story.

Shojo, I think, has more of romance, and more close ups to the character's face.

You know what's funny about the FMA thing? I saw the series before it came on CN, due to a friend bothering me to watch it, and I liked the first 25 episodes, then I thought it went downhill from there, but Izumi's just a kickass character so I kept watching, but the ending just made me sick and I denounced the series, but then a few months after I joined here, my friend TheBlindHyuuga got really into FMA, and he basically explained to me the reasons why he liked it, and I saw his point and started liking it a little more. I'm still disapointed in a lot of the factors of the anime, but the manga is a lot different, and much better imo.

Fruits Basket is a love story about a girl who loves this guy and is virtually adopted by his family. His family has a wierd curse that goes as thus: whenever they are hugged by the opposite sex, they turn into the animal that represents them in the Chinese zodiac.

I read abit of it. It's heavily Shoujo in it's drawing style (on par or even more so than CCS) but what I read and watched was ok. I thought it was interesting.

There was actually a part when she had a trace of feminity in her? :huh. I must've overlooked it :amuse. Yeah her design wasn't my favorite in the game, but I thought it was alright, though it was a total mockery of Schala after I found out she was supposed to be a "Schala clone"...that really pissed me off to no end. To just disrespect the original design of the character like that is an unforgivable crime in my eyes.

you know what the sad thing is? if she looked exactly like schala and acted the way she did and speaking pirate language, i'd still be pissed off to no end. as a clone, kid was pretty much the exact opposite of what the real schala is like. and oh god, the real schala in CC was freaking ugly as hell compared to CT. god damn squaresoft. why must they ruin such a great game like CT for? i live happier saying CC has nothing to do with CT.

lol but you had such a great theory about how Lavos...time devourer played a role in CT and CC, since it was confusing why Lavos was fought with Schala being nowhere to be seen. That idea about Serge and friends fighting him, only to save Schala, and then sending him back to the time stream to fight Crono and co was pretty cool and explained somethings. Other than that, I'd rather forget the game, though I will admit that when the ruined an aspect of CT, they always did so with such a great song :laugh

oh don't remind me of Lucca. That was horrible. Plus the death of Robo was just so sad. Did they have to write his final words out like that too? But the song at that part...just beautiful. Man I was looking at schala's model in cc online...it IS really horrible. She's pretty ugly there. Plus her hair's really big for no reason. Plus why does she look like an ugly 6 year old girl? That's always bothered me.

but yeah. things do become quite a problem when they go from 2d to 3d. the transformation of schala is proof of it. heck, i don't know.maybe someone drugged square-enix or threatened to kill them all if they didnt make schala ugly as hell.

or maybe all that time she spent with lavos uglified her. though i don't understand why she didn't turn back to being pretty after you separate her from lavos.

if it wasn't lucca that said it, i might have questioned whether he really is. but you know...well she called him janus. said he'd always be there to protect kid. kid's the clone of schala. it makes perfect sense they're magus and schala. plus that's probably why they made leene to be serge's girlfriend instead of the usual hero x heroine relationship.

i dunno, i never found magus to be too useful in CT. sure he may have had all the different elemental spells, but his lack of double tech was a huge drawback.
not to mention dark matter can't compare to luminaire =P

oh yeah that's true. Luminare was a tad too useful imo. It kinda made Crono, more all purpose than he should've been, but it just encourages the player to save his life that much more :amuse. If only they would've given him that dark guyser move...even though it was mostlikely totally useless compared to dark matter in the end anyway. I tried to use him as my swiss army knife character, and just to make my team look cooler with him in the back...or something.

But yeah Guile was just plain useless, and I barely used him except to see what he said at the end of the game basically. Serge's mastermune was alot more useful than I thought it was after you recomended it over the rainbow.

yeah, serge's mastermune definitely pwns. orlha with spectralgloves pwns quite a bit too. her critical rate is pretty damn high sometimes. i don't know why, but like sometimes i keep getting 6 or so crits in a row with her and other times she gets a crit once in 10 hits XD
it's huge damage though.
92 str is awesome <3
she hits more than serge when she cirts =D which is rare for a squaresoft chick since they're usually so ridiculously weak in the physical department.

i remember crono with a measely 35 MAG or so luminair outclass magus's dark matter XD
when i got his MAG to **, i was like HOLYSHIT!!!

ever played the game? As in chrono Trigger or the naruto games. I've played both. I had to of played Chrono Trigger considering that I own the fan club right? :huh. Anyway yeah I make it a yearly ritual to beat the game at least twice, once from scratch, and once from my continued game that's **. I usually tend to beat the game more than just twice though since it's addicting.

Ummm well if you're talking about the Naruto games then I've played the GBA ones, the PS2 games and the Game Cube ones as well. If there are others on other systems, like the one for the DS, then I haven't played those yet.....ummmm unless you meant to say "Never played it" then I'm just confused.

Oh that'd definately be cool. I've noticed that there isn't a lot of good Chrono Trigger fan art out there for a few reasons. Some being the fact that people either fail at trying to make it look totally different, or fail at trying to make it look to similar.
