As for my SS characters....look at the siggie below. She is my favorite video game character of all time. I also use Hisame Shizumaru, Tokugawa, and bust hanzo from SS4....I used to use Galford in SS1 but once 2 came out and I used Cham Cham, Galford quickly became old news :laugh

I'd give it to either Killik's stage or Cerventes stage for my favorites in Soul Calibur one. I would say Edge Master's stage, but that's just killik's stage at at a different time.....stupid Killik stealing seung mina's moves

Astaroth is quite a dangerous character, he and Rock changed the definition of big characters.
as for favorite anime characters.....hmmmm. I dunno if I was forced to choose right now I would probably say Xellos

ive never had any easy time fighting astaroth.hes jus not easy!! and he hurts like hell.i fin that ppl often react too slowly to his speed. i use to think he was slower than he really was. never doin that again..

Thing about Astaroth fighting Astaroth is to try to get him from afar...And after playing the game only people who can do that is Ivy, Nightmare, Kilik, and Yung Sung (If he has his legendary weapon)

I loved fighting anyone who used Taki...Because she's mainly a close combat and when they get in about 3 or 4 hits in I just smack them away..

Another thing about Astaroth is that his awesome throws... Especially the one where he grabs you by his axe spins you around and just launches you in the air...God I loved that move.

wow nice new avy's guys....and Zhao Yun kicks ass. he's tied for my second favorite character in the game and book.
I use taki sometimes and it's a pain fighting astaroth, but it's possible. You just have to know when to hit and run. the fight is totally dependent on that.

My favoite is Zhou Yu since the first game. My second favorite is a tie between Sun Shang Xiang and Zhao Yun.... a lot of people don't know this, but Sun Shang Xiang was a secret character in DW1 and she was basically a Zhou Yu clone when it came to fighting.
In Soul Calibur, my favorites are Seung Mina, Taki, and Talim in that order.
I used to use Hwang/assasin, but my younger brother is just infinitely better with him than I am so I gave up in shame:)

How many of you have played in SCII tourneys? My characters were Ivy (primary), Nightmare, and Xiao. With Ivy, i'm known for my good spacing, annoying 2a, rushdown, and getting CS or SS out of anywhere (funiest time was when I wall jumped and cs'd).
