Given that Ichigo's one of the few charachters who's zanpakto's has an actual living embodiment to represent it, I kind of think it would be appropriate for the demand to be related somehow to it. For example, the other person who has such a form for his zanpakto, Renji, uses the term "Roar", which is appropriate since when conversing with him is a beast.

Now, there are really two physical forms for Zangetsu, "old man Zangetsu", who seems to hunger for battle, and Shirosaki, who hungers for that and just in general violence.

Therefore I suppose some examples of appropriate commands would be something like:
"Conquer, Zangetsu"
"Destroy, Zangetsu"
"Be the last one standing, Zangetsu"

... and so on...

You may hate to admit it, but while Ichigo himself may be fairly well natured there do seem to be some darker aspects to his nature.
