Post all questions along the lines of "what chapter does such-and-such happen in?" here. Manga readers, if you plan on rereading or looking up a certain event, but you're not sure which chapter to go to, this is the place to ask. And anime watchers, if you're thinking about trying the manga but don't know where to begin, same thing--this is your thread. That should be towards the beginning of Skypiea around chapter 230. Not exactly. They found that thing beforehand. But they mention the Waver after they got the Skypiea(I think...). So I'm assuming you've already started on that arc.

Adjusts to others power? You mean finding out the weakness after already having a round with them? Don't see why that's surprising as all the characters pretty much do that... they just don't run at the enemy if they're strong and randomly attack if they have some unique ability.

Well we don't see him training, but he claims that he trains.

"So it seems you do not only stretch." "That's right, I've been training! To be a pirate!!" to Kuro after he picks up a boulder.

My only thought on the matter would be lifting boulders, going underneath waterfalls and that stuff. He can knock over buildings probably since, teh velocity of the length he pull sbcak his arm. thasta theory though.

Um, actually, in the original Japanese version, his name is Zoro. Both 4kids and Viz (Shonen Jump) changed it to Zolo for some odd reason.

I agree. I loved One Piece even more when I read the manga, especially the Captain Kuro Arc. I have to keep reading the manga I am a few chapters behind.

I buy the volumes too. But, is it me but in the early volumes that grammar is terrible. I was reading Volume 10 and every page had an error, I wish someone could re-finish them.

I think its because the dub is one of the worst of all time more than you watching the anime. The anime doesnt match up too terribly, but honestly the dub is pretty attrocious from what Ive seen and probably gives off as hugely different impression of the characters as possibe. So you might just want to reread those first 16 volumes if you have time after you finish catching up at least.

i have the luck of not seeing that shit version...yes the 4kids version is bad many censoring like sanji's cigar out and things like that..then the voices sucks..

It's hard to believe that an Impel Down arc could be in the near future, but I guess it's looking more and more likely. I think it's absurd that they'd go through all the Enies Lobby hype ("we need to save Robin now because we'll never get her back from Impel Down!") just to go there anyways, and plus wouldn't that be backtracking..?

On the other hand, I could see it making a bit of sense if Kuma sends them there to free Ace. He doesn't seem happy that Ace was captured, and it might tie up loose ends about wtf exactly Kuma was doing.

otoh... I just want to see the New World already.

Well they leave Enies Lobby in chapter 429, then they hang around Water 7 until 439 when they leave for the next island. So the whole arc ends at 439.

Basicly, they visit an island and the log sets. The entrance to the Grand line has hundreds of islands and once they reach one, the Log Pose sets and they are on a path they can't get off of.

I agree I think that a lot of people need to step back and think before they make one of those annoying character hate posts, before we become like this place (http://forums.narutofan.com/forumdisplay.php?f=9). Personally I need some more WB screen time before I become a fan of his, I want to find out more about him as a person because I'm not too interested in his power as I am not a "power character" guy.
