need help with bit torrent..

my downloads start to get max 1kb all the week and i cant make it download like before so.. can some one tell me how can i fix this? :confused:
im connected by a router and all the internet is fast but only the bittorrent is slow and it connects to peers and everything but it doesnt download nothing.. :eek:

i guess the firewall in the router is the culprit. u need to open some ports... what is your brand of your router
