Naruto Remixed

I've been watching Naruto, etc, and decided to make some homages to this anime's awesome soundtrack. I've remixed Akeboshi- Wind, the first ending song, and the Naruto main theme. Both tracks are sort of stuck in the Work In Progress stage, I'd be happy to hear feedback from any of you. Links:

I use FL Studio 5, Sampletank 2 XL, and a lot of free plugins and soundfonts.

I'll probably lengthen/finish up these two, then maybe start one of Sadness & Sorrow, one of my favorite themes. I'm not sure it can be done any better than it already has though. :P

Not in the way of Naruto remixes, though obviously these aren't the first songs I've ever done. :smile-big

Just some comments on the remixes. I love them all and many things are more personal opinion then anything else so please don't take any possible negativity to heart.

I must say the first remix is very lofty in feeling. It's quite nice. At first I had some trouble finding the base beat but it is definitely there and you've used it as a foundation to create a whole new song almost.

The Second one is also beautifully rendered, reminding me of the track from the Third OST "Those who inherit the will of fire". To be honest I prefer it more then the original track. it has a much nicer feeling to it and reminds me of the good old nintendo days at times. I felt it getting alot faster at 1:56 which isn't a bad thing but it seemed to kill the relaxed atmosphere it held until then. The electronic part at 2:35 wasn't too bad but I definitely preferred the part afterwards with the Piano. Much more elegant. Another Beautiful creation.

The third one is nice with the hovering bass celloish sounds. High scale piano gives it a nice feeling but it doesn't have the heartbroken feeling of the original which I miss from the remix. Sometimes it's hard to keep that sorrow feeling when you are using a different instrument since the flute carried the feeling in the original. Since you used Piano the keys have to be struck quickly which brings an energetic feeling to the peice.
On one hand I prefer the original for capturing the feeling it did, but on the other hand I prefer this mix due to it bringing a new feel to the song. Since it's a work in progress I look forward to seeing what changes you might make to this one. =3

Edit: Downloaded the latest update to sadness and sorrow. You have made it a new song with an entirely new feeling. Sax makes me think of New york-ish feeling streets in Konoha lit with streetlamps and Sasuke walking along just before Sakura appears and before leaving Konoha. I like it. If you do decide to try and make it seem sadder I think it might be better off as a different remix because I really like where this one is headed now. Only another 36 seconds left to go =3
