I was only a mod at the small board because the admin knew me and because I don't get in fights with other members or abuse powers.

Although I was 17 back then, still not as mature as I am now and a bit more easily swayed by emotions. :P

A lot of the members there started personally targetting me and the admin didn't do much about it. For some reason he thought I could ban them myself but mods couldn't ban there, only admins. I could just edit/delete posts. So I didn't have a whole lot of power.

The job can become too much for one mod/admin if there is so much going on. Then they have to pick more mods/admins or they'll never have any free time.
