All I have to say as a first post is lets have some good times. Also we might as well get started with the AOTM assignment.

Digital Designs - Digital Designs was the name of one of the original teams around the time the forums where first up in 2003 befor the mass hackings of 04....It was a group created by me with one of the mightest teams of that time...searching forums over the entire net and people from here I brought together to bring massive wins to the team by group efferts.......I once said Digital Designs will never die as long as I am around and to my suprise I am right It hasnt.....

Digital Designs Rebirth will go far as a team because we all are great artists who sould be able to work together let us not bring down the name of Digital Designs....Lets us rise to the tope....

Was wondering if I could start the first assignment here?

I think the first assignment sould be a 500x500 splash...vector or abstract...just to show off some nice talent and stock can be used......

Why would I say no to that project. I can't wait to get started and i love that history lesson. I just wish I had joined when Digital Design was at its peak before the hacks. So yea I say we should do that project then.

I love the not inverted one and you call yourself a noob. :laugh Just one thing that I think would make it look even better is make it trasparent. I think the inverted one looks wak but the other one is great.

Minus, your splash reminds me of photographs and cameras. XD I love it. You may see an imaginary line going straight down the middle, reflecting the other half.

Personaly i like the yellow one better only because I'm not a huge fan of green. However it looks way better transparent.

I like the yellow one more too but you need to work on your fonts a bit becuase i am not fond of that font at all....look a hell alot better with it transparent so good job....

Oh! I get it now we just have to do an adverisment of the "Art Of The Month" Like and "Ad". i get it.... so yea we should do that it sounds like a good idea.

I just had the idea that once we finish with the AOTM Ad we should challenge one of the other teams. However I think we need one more member. So far 2 ppl have applied but both of them seem very noobish so I dont know wether or not to let them in. Also saw that guy who posted on the Sign-Up Topic but he hasnt really applied.

we need to start being more active on our team page. you can talk about anything with your team mate they are your family lol...everyone only posts when something comes up concerning the team...we want to not die so we need to keep active with posting here or you will end up forgeting about this place and we will die...trust me I know....

Also I think everyone neededs to start working on bigger stuff becuase when I set up or minus does we dont want all sig battle because they reallydont show all that much skill if you cant do the same thing bigger...that is what I have learned as I have been here.......but personally if sigs come up though I do see Shag- kun doing them because he has great sigs or even murasaki but i like his/her work when it is bigger....

I think challenging a team would be a good idea because everyone else is doing the same thing and if we can pull off a crush we can start striking fear into the enemys hearts and make something of ourselfs as a team and not individually.....one more person will be good as like a sub and noobs arnt always that bad but let me check that out.....

Yea like I said in the other Topic I invited him/her to the group too but havent heard a reply. I we should do some bigger things. I havent had practice with big things in a while. As for striking fear into our enemies that sounds like a good idea. I also think we should just stay with 5 people in the team since I think it would be easier to manage.

I have a comment on the battling subject.Um,... I don't think we should battle now. What I think we should do is befriend another and get to know eachother. We should talk about anything here and become more of a family, as Shiren said. So what I am saying is that we should be more comfortable instead of doing what other people are doing. I do understand the competition and the battling, as of course this is a graphics team.

Currently, I am working on my own brushes. Made four and the first three horribly sucked. Fourth turned out decent. Claro, I'll try the AOTM sig.

As for making bigger graphics, don't know if it'll happen for me. In the past, I made a few layouts and some wallpapers. They were okay-ish. There is something that I want to make bigger. Whenever I finish it, I will be sure to show you all. <3

Ok everyone this weeks project is going to be a big one....sence we are going to try to battle next week agenst justices team we need some practice in big pieaces....if we master that then we master all....rember the bigger they are the harder they are so if you do good on big pieces imagin how your small pieces will improve....

The project is this make any type of piece but it has to be 800x600 or bigger with only one stock at the most and repost it here you have till the end of the week to do this....

I'm down with that plan Shiren I guess I have some work to do then. Im going to New York this weekend so I'll try to post mine up tomorrow if I have time.

Personally I would never put that wallpaper as my wallpaper but it looks good. The sig looks good too. The new sig looks awsome but could use a border. The Text you should put on the line but in some cool typography way.

P.S.- Though I'm going to NY i will have my sidekick with me so like I said before I will be on AIM all the time. Sorry in advance if I dont responde fast enough.

2. I like the splash that looks good but the wallpaper just isnt working.,.dont like the bg bg you have with tentecals things and the black isnt fading away well enough you need to add some depth to the black aswell like make it go from grey to black kinda or add some texture to the border of the black but not just a simple fade...the sig looks good though and I think it does justice as a sig with no text in it....

GOD I TALK TO MUCH FOR A GUY....anyways I have been talking to justice and we are set for battling next week but we arnt going to actually start setting rules and everything till friday or saturday...I want to do a 4 vs 4 so that everyone active on this team can get involved if that is alright with everyone....personally sence minus will be away for the weekend I was thinking of setting him as the last or second to last person to go and have murasaki first or shag-kun......but if justice wants to do 3 vs 3 I was thinking of doing me, minus, and murasaki dont take affence to that shag-kun because I want to get as many big battles in as possible and try not to have to many sig battles....now if justice want a 2 vs 2 I will only do sig battles for that and have murasaki and shag-kun do the sigs for that battles because well I SUCK AT SIGS lol....

I just wanted to tell you what I thought so hope no one gets affended by what I think....

Shiren, it is kind of a long story. Murasaki means purple in Japanese. To make it short, my mother's favorite color is purple. That picture of your's is dark,... but it looks good that way. Maybe if you lighten it more a bit people may actually see you. XD

yo guys/gals whats going on with everyone how is everyones day?

Also if minus does not mind I want to set a rule down that if you dont create a new post within 3 days time you are declared inactive on the team unless you give a reson to everyone to why you might not be posting then that is fine....if you do not post within 4 days of being declare absent you will be kicked from the team....agian unless you can email someone or pm or IM someone with a reson why you arnt posting....

This is to keep everyone active on the team and not just posting every week or so...we want active team members and this is the only way to mantain that statis

if you are declared inactive you jsut have to post with in 4 days from being booted say what has happened, hwy you havent been posting and you will be declared active agian....if declare inactive you can not particapate in any team battles or team events.....

When you become inactive a pm will be sent to you telling you that you have been declared inactive and warn you that you have 4 days to post befor you are booted...now all you have to do is tell a team member what has happened and tell them to post why you arnt posting....that will work aslong as it is a good reson....

I feel that this rule should be instated to help the team the best we can.....

What does everyone else think about this rule????

Well the reason i havnt been active is due I´m having alot of school work to do, (going the most important year in school right now) so I have alot of things to do.. But now its weekend so i have some time off to do some =P.. I hope there isnt a problem that I´m having alot of schoolwork to do and arnt active 2k all the time.. if you see what i mean?..

But well i havnt been al inactive either.. I´ve tried to learn how to do own cool brushes.. but failed enormously.. damn they realy suck so I donno what to do about it..

That is fine...I understand that school is impaortant....so aslong as you dont diseapear complete like for weeks on end nothing will happen to you...but that just means that you will be last on the list for battles and stuff just because you are extreamly busy with school...good luck with school too...

yea creating your own brushes are really hard even I have trouble with it...love the sig though really good you sould wear it instead of the furesy one i think it look much better....

glade you like it...to tell you the truth I found that old render lieing around so I grabed it and saw a piece on DA with a vector stylel kinda like that and the idea just poped into my head so I went with it....I loved how it turned out though I thought it looked cool.....

your sig is nice I really like it good job...but try some bigger stuff too....

The big piece oyu are working on looks really cool but I woulding have it fadding off the top liek you do I would just have it stoping befor that just for the feel and I would do something more with the end where you have all the swirls like do more of them with different colors and that is all i can really think about lol....

It seems you guys have been busy since I was gone. Well sadly I dont have anything but I will work on something today so look for an edited post if no one post after me.

Shiren that new piece is pretty nice man I can of like the whole style of it. This battle will be a good one too becuz I got a lot of nice idea while that I thought up while in NY.

Murasaki that bleach sig is flames, I mean I'm not a huge fan of the stock but the whole sig looks great none the less. The second sig you posted was amazing that bg and the font and verything just seems to go very well with everything.

Shag-kun your new one is ill too and I agree with Shiren you should do a little more with the swirls, but besides that it looks great.

Stock: if you want, one stock at max

Win: first to 7 votes wins

Round 2:
Size: 500x200 MAX
Theme: Anime
Animeation: no
Stock: if you want, one stock at max

When your team has decided on a roster for the battles pm it to me...when I get the roster for both teams I will then post when the first piece will be due...I mostlikly will say 2 days from when i get the roster is when the first piece is due then 1 day after the round has ended will then next rounds pieces be due....I think that gives plenty of time to everyone....

Shag-kun is good with sigs but he isnt on enough to read all of this then get something done with school and all and I dont want to push him to hard...let him get some more practice in and that will do us good with him.....Minus for the freestyle sig round because minus is very good with sigs but needs to be let open with his work and not detained and just by looking at his new grafittie sig you can see he does more then anime and I know this too so freestyle for him.....murasaki for the anime sig round because she does alot of sigs and most of them are anime and she is good at that so that is why I chose her for that round it just seems right....as for Red he is knew to the team and hasnt been to active as of latly and I need active members for this battle also his sig work is not the best quality and big stuff he has photography which he is great at but we need a bit more for the big piece round at the moment....Shiren for the big piece round is well I suck with sigs and I mostly due big works now and I have been back in practice with it and well I just see me being the best choice for the big piece round....

That is why I picked who I picked but you can feel free to argue what I have decided...what I have chosen is not written in stone yet....

nice simple sig but i do advise finding some tutorials and try to work more with abstract and graphical effects....love the photographs and personally i feel your strongest talent would be in photomanipulation...I see you fitting in that catigory very well so you might want to check into it...

Looks sick but yea you should add some text on the right side. Try doing some creative typography. Other than that the colors are great and the blending and brushing are nice. The border is cool too but you should do a 1px border on the left and right. I think it might look better.

I just use the Polygonal Lasso Tool and just make lines like that its not that hard. I got the idea from a frew Ads i saw.

Shag-Kun that new stuff is VERY impressive it seems you have improved a lot. I love that first one with the chix head and the blood coming out of it, that shit is flames.

Murasaki that naruto sig of your is ill too I love what you did with the font. If you dont mind I might have to use that in one of my future sigs. Also maybe its my monitor but it doesnt look like that sig has a border, which I think it should. Other then that it look ill.

Sig looks bad ass along with the way you did the font on it....the bg works really well with the emotion of the stock so all together it just looks badass and the boreder does it justice too....although it could be a bit darker of a color you used....

i am guessing you where using fractals for that and it looks decent but try working on more constructed pieces and it is best if you learn to digital brush skills equal to fractals then to use a program that make fractals for oyu that is just my opion though....still looks good.....anyways
