Same conditions as in the manga except Deva Pein has already charged up his power again from the large shinra tensei.

:hmm Interesting. I don't think Naruto would take this, much as I'd like to see that. He (IIRC) had trouble even with that non-charged Deva. He almost lost without Hinata being the catalyst for him turning into the Six-tailed. I don't see him taking this.

Are the circumstances the same ? Does Asura ignore Naruto and charge into Tsunade and get destroyed ?

Doesn't matter much anyways, Pain wins with moderate difficulty, after losing 2 - 3 bodies.

Deva stops most of Naruto's shit and probably prevents the initial death of Human realm and Hungry ghost realms and then proceeds to fuck Naruto's shit up with shinra tensei spams.

So Naruto/MA/Pa Toad aren't inflicted with insane amounts of PIS. Well Then he has a decent chance of winning by having MA/Pa fall back and charge frog song from the start and use the summons as fodder to hold of Pain and use his Kage Bushin to Gain intel and hold of Pain then go in to distract Pain himself. If he is able to do all this he might win, but the fact that Pain has knowledge of Frog Song probably would allow Pain to still avoid it so its kind of a slim chance on naruto's part.

I'd have to say that Pein would win. Under the circumstances given, I can't even fathom Naruto winning this one, yet, it wouldn't be wise to rule Naruto out. He seems to have an annoying knack to find his way to victory. . .

Btw, if Naruto doesn't go tails again, I think Pain would take this, seeing how much trouble Naruto had against Deva alone

Deva would win, he pretty much solo'd Naruto last time. With more bodies attacking simultaneously, its kind of a rape.

Plot Induced Stupidity - a character makes stupid decisions because the plot forces him to
Line Of Sight - characters can see each other (from the start of the battle)

I think I could give naruto a chance.
I mean, in sage mode Deva can only use Shinra Tensei and not Banshō Ten'in. Doing such a thing would probably mean his arms would be totally torn of when he grabs naruto. Again, the Shinra Tensei would work very poorly on naruto in SM when he got his clones and extreme jumping abilities, he could just summon a clone and jump back by using it. And impacts wouldnt harm him.

The asura path was taken out before the fight, so he is long gone. Though, naruto would never been able to use his FRS as early as he did, if he threw it at Deva path that is (the others would be dead). No physical attacks that the peins could deliver would be fatal to Naruto and the speed of Naruto in this form would surely overpower most of them. The fight would still be very tough. Well, naruto would probably still win some way just because he is the main character.

I think he meant what it did it mean. If that's the case, PNJ = Plot no Jutsu. The magical plot interference that, for example, allowed Sakura and Chiyo to win against Sasori. If it was not that... well, then there is no PnJ, as there is no plot in the Battledome.
