Have these three ever commented on each others work? Like in an interview?
I was just curious because I've never seen it in any of Oda's interviews... and with the way the fandoms argue it would be cool to see how the mangaka feel about the whole business.
I guess this could've been posted in the Bleach and Naruto section but I like it here.

Masashi kishimoto
He sent a text to Oda after Merry burned (his favorite scene of the series, he says) and said, "That was good".
-Jump Fiesta 2007
(I'm still looking for Kubo's comment)
Yeah, it's called Bakuman.
It's hard to be funny isn't it?

kishi is a onepiece fanboy. He cries when he reads the manga, and he sent a letter to oda saying how much he loved the death of merry
He also calls oda, oda-sama etc.
Idk about kubo

Kubo Tite: Oda-Sama I really enjoy your work with One Piece. I just wanted to express my gratitude and say that your a great rival to be working against. I simply love your work. :iria
Eiichiro Oda: Who are you again? :wha
Oh wait your that guy with the yammy troll right?
They call you plot hole Kubo around the office.

And as far as I remember Kishimoto and Kubo drew something for One Piece tenth Treasure.
Oh, and Killer Bee uses the swords in a similar way like Zoro.

Oda doesn't read Bleach or Naruto. I understand why. Kubo and Kishi likes Oda's work. I understand why that is aswell.

It's obvious they aren't going to act like the retarded fandoms

So?
I might also think it would be interesting to find out what the Spice Girls thought of The Supremes in their heyday. That shouldn't suggest that I have any respect for Girl Power.
Not that the gap between the 3 mangaka is that far, but you get the idea. ;)

Oda said he had read up to Zabuzas death and thought it was sad. That was a while back I don't know if he caught up since then.

heh, it's like Oda to be turned off by the iconic death scene in early naruto.
"Death scene? In a shonen? Well, i'm sure he'll come back. What? He's buried!? Fuck this sad crap, im gonna go draw some crickets playing basketball with Usopp."

Didn't he state once, that one of the reasons he doesn't kill of any antagonists, is because he feels it's worse to leave them alive... By breaking their dreams... ?
Or was that bullshit from the wiki?:zaru

Which was the best part of the manga, along with the Chuunin Exams arc.
I'm glad Oda left early. Naruto became quite the shithole in Part 2, but it still had some good in it back in part 1.
