It looks kind of neat. I think cell shading would have been the way to go for a Naruto game, (I know there are other Naruto games around I just don't know what style of graphics they use).

Well I know what I'm getting for my birthday then. I've been DYING for an action naruto game!!!!!! My only concern is how they will do Kage Bunshin no Jutsu, seems hard to pull off in an action game but then again I don't know what kind of action game it is.

I dunno. Doesnt look all too amazing yet to me. Mainly because if the game is fighting hordes of ninjas when they appear, like in the screenshots, it doesnt seem all that fun :\

Unfortunately, in the time it takes for the localization of the Naruto cartoon to become established, it's possible that this game won't make it to the North American shores. Technology may have moved on, and a game like this - believe it or not - might become obsolete.

But I'm seriously hoping. This game looks like I could put in a good chunk of my time.

I'm not sure if many people know about this yet, but on August 18th the newest Naruto game for the PS2 is coming out! Unlike the Narultimate Hero games, this one is more of an action adventure game. I'm really looking forward to it cause the graphics are awesome and there will be a lot of missions to complete as well (both episode related and origional).

Although it's entirely in Japanese, you can still just click random buttons to look at the cool pictures if you can't read it. They also have two short commericial clips released under the movie section. (looks like this 動)

They haven't released a lot of information about it yet, so I'm not sure who all of the characters will be. Right now on the site, your partners are limited to Chouji, Neji, and Shikamaru. But I'm hoping that they will release more info on other partners soon.

in the trial version you can choose to play as Naruto, Sasuke or Chouji.

Looks like there's going to be quite a bit of Gaara action. Yup i'm getting it:knk

Well if you think about it this game and any other game that has the rasengan in it will take a while to be released like a year or 2. I'm only saying this because if you do the math naruto is going to be on CN on Saturdays. Thats once a week and I'm guessing that CN will start repeating episodes by the time they are done with the Zabuza Arch. Thats about 21 episodes which would also be 21 day or about 6 months worth of episodes. So lets say they repeat the whole arch again thats 1 whole year of just Zabuza. So dont expect these Naruto games anytime soon since all the games have almost all the character and plenty of story line that would spoil it for those little brats that will be on Naruto's "nuts"(you know which ones I'm talking about). So thats why I said what I said. Its sad but true.

Hopefully I'm wrong because these Naruto games are nice.

I have the game and i'm loving it so far.....it is a beat em up game and is totally mission based (which means all filler)....the graphics are pretty sweet and so are all the jutsus...since i dont know how to read any japanese i dont know whats going on with the story...

You can only use naruto (well so far) and u can use other character only as supports (from what i think since i only have chouji)....but the way they are supports is u switch to that character and ur that character until his blue bar runs out then u have to wait till that bar refills in order to be them again....

all in all....if you have the chance to get it, i suggest you do....and they are making a faq on gamefaqs.com that will translate all the missions and menus (the faq should be coming out pretty soon since they already recruited people to help with it)

by the way...i got mine via bittorrent (no password needed) from isohunt.com if that helps

well after u download the torrent you have to use a bittorrent program such as azureus to dl the game from that torrent....then u have to use winrar to open the first rar file which will extract the iso......i use dvd decrypter to burn the iso.....but of course u also need a mod chip in your ps2 or swap magic (which i have).

you put it wherever u want.....download dvd decrypter (just google it cuz i dont remember the exact site).....and open dvd decrypter, put a blank dvd in ur burner, then open the iso using dvd decrypter and burn

Well, I doubt many people have played the game yet, as it came out today. Narutimetto Hero 2 is a great game, and definitely a must have. I have an asian PS2, which is obviously the best choice for playing games but too expensive (I got it as a gift). Just google Playstation 2 mod chip, that kind of thing. It's best not to try mod chips though, as you will probably ruin your entire system. There is a cheap insert you can put in the tray of your PS2 which I think is what most people use. It's called.....magic......something. Just use google, it's not hard to find. The insert seems like kind of a pain to use, and has the possibility to break the tray, but if you don't want to buy an asian PS2, that's really your only choice.

Yesterday I got the game, at 8:00 PM (GMT+1 :) ) The fighting is awesome, its very enjoyable, but the only mode I can play is the story mode. And it became very boring, because theres a very big amount of speaking part and the game mostly an RPG. And I can't read/understand japanese... :( The training part is very fun, It is understandable, but then u have to choose, and listen lots of dialgues. This was my first impression.

I'm abit dissapointed in the game. It's not really that interesting and the gameplay is just somewhat boring. holding down a button and you can perform a jutsu? I rather the Naruto 2 control system. The graphics don't look to great and the whole story is just based on fillers...nothing spectacular..

Well I haven't played the game (unable to...) but sometimes when Swap Magic doesn't work, you should try using DVD loader to run the game.

http://swapmagicfix.com/ has it for download. (Should run the same as shown in the CDLoader guide).

Either that, or you should try reburning it at say 2x speed or might be the DVDs you used.

The problem with that is that they will use the US voices ingame wich will suck. I rather import and then use the damn dictonary then play it with dubbed voices.

I have the game... It has nice graphics, and is pretty fun...

But sadly, all the other characters are only support for a short time. I really wish you could choose your char, like be Gaara or Shikamaru ;.;

That would have made this game 10x better!

i finished the game a month ago 2 times^^so that i can get the bonus
at first the game was quite boring(doing missions & stuff)
but later bout 5 hours you'll really like the game^^

Oh you mean the misty place? You just gotta see which of the 3 pole's(whatever those red japanese things are)shadows pattern is different than the two.
Go to the different shadow pattern one.Continue doing this till you found a scroll.Save there.

Many people are stuck on this. Okay, If you keep messing up, Naruto will figure it out on his own. In the event that you can't read Japanese, then simply look at the shadows of the red gates. One will always face in an different direction than the others. Keep going through the gate that has that. Be prepared though, since you fight Kisame at the end of the maze.
