Alright well I thought while I'm heard I should let you all into what I do for most of my time. This is my web site, now I understand its not the best place around, I don't have any media other then a few images and a radio blog. But it's one of the best sites as it comes to content. For the most part I think so as I try to do the best I can. Alright here are the stats.

Name: XfireSystems Entertainment
URL: http://www.xfiresystems.com/
Opened: Feb 13th 1999
Members: 46
Main Content: Reviews, Articles

Alright I know some of you may be thinking, what makes my site worth the time? Well for starters its updated everyday, now I know lots of sites are. But I always add something new with each update and I'm not just saying this to get you to visit me. Here is a list of stuff I have.

- Anime Reviews
- Gaming Reviews
- Movie Reviews
- Articles
- News Articles
- Media Gallery
- Webmaster Tutorials
- Movie Trailer Links
- Web Links
- Web Site Reivews
- Dragonball Z UNCut on TV Section

If you sign up not only do you have access to all the above content but you get the following.

- Member Profile

- Voting in polls
- Radio Blog
- Forum Posting
- Access to the design section (AKA The Pomojema Force)
- Star Wars Episode 3 Countdown Section
- Star Wars Episode 3 DVD Countdown Section

The web site is easy to navigate, clean layout and its a great place to be. We have a great growing community and in Setpmber my board will be open for a year, with over 5000 post and over 40 members I think is a great job taking in mind my board crashed twice, and after about 3 months of down time.

Some of you may be asking, if I open the site in 1999, why don't I have more content then I have? Well simple answer is the site has been many differnet things over the years. When I first open the site, it was going to be a software site. However once I got started it was just to much for me to handle so the site for many years was just a portal site for my other sites I own, which was about 15 over the last 6 years.

Anways I really hope you'll at least take a look. Even know It would be cool to have as many active members as there is here, but I know thats very unlikely as I don't have anything crazy like a naruto site has. I'm hard working, my sites not full of ads, I don't force you to join as the main part of my content is free to all.

I really hope you guys like it and I hope to get some great comments and feedback form the great members here. Even if you have nothing good to say please tell me. I've always thought its better to have bad feedback then no feedback at all.

I like to thank everyone up front for visiting and if you have any questions, ideas or anything please let me know. I'll be more then happy then to answer them.

Peace out - Darth Unrvialed

I'm not 100% sure what you mean by that only that your thinking that being open for 6 years and there is only 46 members. Well all I can say is before you jump the gun you get the full story first.

This is my first year having a message board, and first time having a member system on top of that the site was down for almost a year in 2003- 2004. So if your saying that my site must blow because I only have 46 members, well you are wrong.

I please ask that you next time at least give a little more detail in your comments other then quoting me and saying ROFL.

Thank you -

I actually like the design - very professional. Though the content is not in my interests, I think it can interest quite a few people. Keep it up ^____^.

One question: Why is it named Xfire Systems? How can you use that name when Xfire( http://www.xfire.com/xf/index.php ) already has that name trade marked?:blink

Well there isnt really anything Xfire can do about it. Because even if they try to do anything which is very unlikely I had the named XfireSystems back in 1999 and been around much longer then they have. Also I'm not steping on their trademarks at all if thats what your asking.

We are clearly two different sites, as they have a porgram that allows you to chat while playing online games, thats all they do. I dont think they do reviews or previews and if they do its something new they started to do, and its a new site anyways about a year old. Again my site is different.

Alot of people ask me why the site is named XfireSystems. Which is ok, here is a little back history. When I start-up the site it was met to be a software site. I was going to make games, small little programs or what not, about 4 months into it I found it to hard to maintain such a site (I was in high school at the time). So I changed my mind and was going to make a new site. Well I couldnt change domains as I didn't have the money for it and I already had it paid for 2 years so I was just goiing to stay with it. Form late 1999 to 2002 the site was a portal site, no real content, just links and news to my other sites (I had about 15 small web sites at this time). My site's where very big around my school and I had loads of fans of my site. Anyway after I was out of high school things slow down and I try a few other things. The first time I try my hand at ainme reviews and movie reviews was in 2003. I did change the site to ANIME ENT or Anime Entertainment, I had a staff of 10 people to help me out and well it was a bust. The site sucked, had no content, and no one wanted to work on it. I try to bring it back with some of my old sites, but it was too late. I still had the domain name xfiresystems, which just pointed to the new domain name. Then in mid 2004 I thought I try one of those anime all sites, not just reviews but info, gallery and stuff. Well in 2004 there where loads of these sites. One of the main things for a webmaster to do is have something different from the rest. A friend of mine where having lunch and we where talking about it, she ask me what about my old site xifre? I said well I dont know. Well I still had the domain so I thoguht I take a crack at it. Which I did. Well the anime thing didn't work. Mostly because all anime fans wanted was media, movies and episode downloads. One I didn't have the server space, was about to go buy servers for it and then I have to get the media which I have to download form other sites as I have no DVD player on my PC at the time to do any kind of ripping. Plus I had nothing new, all I had was older animes that had been release in English. So I start just making the site whatever I wanted. All the things I liked, you name it, I had it. That worked for a while a good 6 months at least, I start to get emails and feedback from people which to sum it up they where lost. Many people didn't know what my site was about. So at this point I had to pick a theme and stick with it. After reviewing what I had, some how I started doing movie reivews. So I start doing movie reivews, then gaming reivews then anime reivews came in. before you know it my site had basically turn into a entertainment site. So I added Entertainment to the name.

For the main reason I kept the name is for one I've had it for over 6 years, you cant just dump it off and forget about it. Some of you may not understand this, as your either not webmasters and the cloest thing you have to a site is a blog, something on myspace or some kind of free hosted home page od some kind.

With each day I think about it, if I had start doing this back then hell I have so much content it be crazy but I don't because I just start doing the reviews about 6 months ago or so. Plus I've had some hacker problems and downtime because of it and many set backs. All comes with the job. It happens.

I'm one of those layout jumpers if you will. meaning I have a real hard time keeping one layout. Form 2004 to today I must have had 20 differnet layouts, some times they layouts didn't work so I had to change them. For the most part I'm happy with my current one and stuff.

But in all my years I have learn one thing, doen't matter what the name is, its a place to help people remember you. The layout is a plus too, but not as big as the content, which I do my best at and I think my content is really good, because if it wasn't I wouldnt have loads of traffic, which again you may think wtf is up with me only having 46 members and then I have over 1000 people on?

Well I get loads of traffic, you don't need to join to view the main content, I dont ask people to join at all. Like some people do when they post their sites or forums up. Please join my site we Need members!!! Oh no I'm not like that. As long as I get a good number of traffic, which could be 10 people each month, as long as I get no emails saying my site sucks or anything I'm happy. I learned that if you get no feedback your doing ok, as at least your not pissing anyone off.

So please don't let the sites name hold you back or the number of members, visit the site look around get a feel for it. For those who joined, they could one or two things they like and thats why their members. I know that may be hard to believe on how people can come to a site alot but never join it? I'm your example, I've been a reader of this site for a long time, mostly reading the news and lukering on the forums from time to time. For at least a year now. I finally joined. Nothing wrong with people just viewing.

But I thank you all for your comments, I know I posted alot here and I know most of you wont read all of it, just maybe read a little of it or just scan it. Which is ok, sorry I wrote so much, just a bad habbit I guess, lol.

Well thanks again, and yes Lord of the rings has been out for a while, and it was the first review I did in 2004 if your wondering.
