I voted for MSG, but I was truly meaning to vote for Z, ZZ and F91. I simply prefer those UC shows over anything else. I would've probably voted for SEED, if Destiny hadn't turned out like it has so far.

I voted MSG. I feel that it has so much more character depth and development throughout the whole anime compared to the others, and that's what makes me like it. Also, they have much better antagonists and protagonists.

im going for MSG... although the animation was bad, the story, character depth, plot, and everything else was good... besides it started it all... every other gundam show in history was either a copy or a derived version of the original gundam...:amuse NOTHING REALLY BEATS the UC timeline

edit: i will also wanted to say that... none of those char coppies really matched up against the red commet in all aspects... not zechs, not raww, none of them...:amuse this is spamming but i just can't help it but to shout out... RED COMMET RULES!!!:laugh

Well, I like Gundam SEED comparitively; at least SEED is able to still seems like an anime, plotwise. UC Gundams is way too political, while Wing is a bit too animeish.

If artwork speaking, though, then I would agree with the rest on Wing.

The first Gundam SEED is my favorite. Zeta is second, followed by Char's Counterattack, 08th MS Team, X, Destiny...the list goes on. If some parts of Destiny weren't so weak (that is between about episode 29-38 for me) it would be second easily as I don't hold UC in high regards as much as others do. The only Gundam series I really didn't care for were G Gundam and Turn A.

I think the artwork is fantastic in gundam seed and gundam seed destiny. Gundam Wing was great too, but got very repetitive in the second half of the series.

I love SEED to death, but it was not revolutionary in any sense. It took several plots from different Gundams, merged them together and created a new story out of it all. It was good, but it was hardly revolutionary. The designs weren't even very revolutionary. Sure, it was the Gundam to bring the franchise into the 21st Century...but that was about it. Shoot, Destiny is more revolutionary simply because it's the first sequel series to any of the AU series.

Gundam Wing edges MSG for me mainly because of characters like Duo and Treize. Char was fantastic in MSG, but Amuro was annoying as hell. That being said both are miles ahead of the other Gundam series' in my opinion. Both stories are well concieved.

I voted for SEED. Might have gone for Zeta if it was there. MSG isn't really that good as a series; it started it all, but it's very trite and with the exception of Char none of the characters have any endearing qualities.

P.S. Good or not, I'm going to see DS Destiny anyway. I'm just too curious not to see it.
Anyway, I'm not one of those people who change opinion on a series (in this case, GS) only because its sequel (GSD) isn't as good as the previous one.
So my vote goes to Gundam Seed since even if I believe that other Gundam Seed series can be excellent, their plots won't be completely new for me anymore.

Anyways, I would have voted for Zeta. Since it isn't here it's a toss-up between MSG and Seed. I'm not completely sure which one of them to vote for though. However since MSG is the original, which Seed derived a lot of it's ideas from, I'll vote for it (also because it's the only UC Gundam in the poll, and has far to few votes).

But unless you were in a Gundam forum, you wouldn't see Wing vs Seed. UC fans would definately have their say in a poll like this. Second, considering MSG is the only UC series that's listed, it's not like UC fans have a big list to chose from considering how many UC series are out there.

And I'm sad Turn A isn't up there. Easily the best Gundam series, hands down (well, second to G Gundam). =P

I think all gundam animes have their strong and weak points, but overall, I think Wing is probably the worst of them all in thoes aspects. :wink

Many times they are 3D, but done in cell-shading to look 2D (more like the rest of the anime... actually, I don't really like how Studio GONZO uses 3D, sometimes it stands out too much from the anime).

I loved all of them I though G Gundam had a good story, Gundam Wing had cool character and cool gundams, Gundam Seed/Destiny was more of a Soldier/War kind of show with AWESOME GUNDAMS (INFINITE JUSTICE,STRIKE-FREEDOM,DESTINY,SAVIOR,IMPULSE)
But i though the providence gundam and legend gundam looked fugly

SEED deffinitely. So much going on with the character's emotions were being tossed around in a warzone. It was also the first gundam series that had really crazy bad guys. Loved it.
