Eden of the East Movie Prediction and Discussion thread

For those that don't know, a movie is due out after the show ends this year. This is the thread to report everything that you find (in the month that you can) or valuable info on it to discuss.

I predict that the movie will be a prequel to the series, chronicling what Takizawa was doing before he lost his memory and how he tied into Careless Monday.

UPDATED: There are 2 movies in production.
1st: The King of Eden (Nov 28, 2009)
2nd: Paradise Lost (Jan 2010)

I'd rather it being a sequel than a prequel to the show...

Cause I'm pretty sure you can't introduce 5 (?) more selecao's in one episode...that's like rushing things altogether :argh Unless they find some awesome way to do it...

I'm thinking it'll be a sequel too, along with Akira finally figuring out his past and possibly stopping Mononobe and Yuki from harming Japan (and hopefully getting together with Saki :ohpek).

It all depends on how episode 11 wil develop. If it's an open ending I want a sequel. If it's not a prequel wouldn't be that bad imo. Just don't let it be a recap movie with new animation.

I think that at this point a prequel would be pointless. We pretty much already know who Mr. Outside and such...I doubt that the finale will exploit all 5 remaining Messiahs and have a great conclusion. I think there will be some closure..but not completely. Personally, I think it would be a tad bit more marketable, people would rather watch how something ends..than how it began...unless there is already a sequel.

Depending on how the ending turns out, I actually think a prequel would be bad ass. Though it's probably going to continue with the current timeline.
