Maybe some girls are like this cause they think these guys pay more attention to cleanliness than (for an extreme contrast) the hairy and smelly guys who look like they haven't taken a shower in two weeks and tend to burp often. Oh I do like my pretty boys, but I'm also partial to the more masculine types. Pretty boys are nice to look at, but sometimes it gets boring. I'd much rather have Vigo Mortisen over Orlando Bloom any day. But I don't like my guys too macho either. Too many muscles = ewwwww.

I've heard it said that a girl's preferred type of guy is heavily influenced by their fathers, i.e they look for guys who have the same type of look as their father. And I've seen it in work, my cousin married a guy who looked almost EXACTLY like her father. (although thankfully he was nothing like him personality wise, her father was a jerk)

In my case this is true! Sure i find the average pretty boy good looking, but would never really consider him in reality. Why did I have to grow up in a time when those punk ass pretty boys started to act all tough. It used to be that there were tough guys pretty boys and ugly guys who usually were in the tough guy catagory or the other catagory. There were also the slick guys, you know the Fonzie type. But then once Puffy came out, everyone started to create some pretty boy thug thing and now tough guys are assed out because everyone thinks that pretty boy thugs are everything even though If I caught them with one stiff jab to the stomach they'd make in their pants something quick.
