It covered Kizaru's arrival. Showed some of the fight between Kuma and Law/Kidd crews then cut to other supernovas. Bonney and Capone were shown using their powers, Drake, Urouge, and Hawkins were in a showdown vs. Kizaru and Kuma. Luffy's crew also started fighting kuma, it ended right before strawhat crew was about to start attacking.

I'm quite disappointed in the preview, looks like most of the good animators have been used in this episode.
Looks like Takeo Ide is back to B+, but that's probably the less important scenes. Hopefully some great animators do the important parts next week. Cause it might cover 2 full chapters.

The Filler scene had killer animation. Well most of the episode, but that's the best animated filler, IMO.

This episode was fantastic! I was shocked that there was so many Bartholomew Kuma's, my first initial thought was he was cloned somehow (since he's a Cyborg,) but after seeing the very end of the episode, I thought it was probably something more sinister than that, an ability perhaps. You know the enemy's strong when Luffy goes Gear Second right off the bat.

Anyway, my episode rating is: 9/10.

As we last left off with a big cliffhanger, one thing for sure, we are in for thrilling ride. And, wow, this episode clearly approves it.

Whether you see this episode as a buildup episode, it sure makes it very intense. Many battles started and it only gets worse from there on. There are plenty of Supernovas' actions and their abilities are sure pretty cool. As for Kizaru, this guy seems almost unbeatable at the moment. Overall, this is one great episode with many action display and ended with a great cliffhanger, wondering how will all this end. Oda, don't disappoint us now! This is going to be a fun ride.

Well I have to expect it. After all, I am watching anime called One Piece, based on the original manga.

EDIT: Also I don't like Hawkins drawing style as much as original, but it was still quite good. Dunno, its like he lacked a bit of face shading. Although in some scenes he was drawn perfectly. And the rest of the ep is just great.

Well this is my understanding on the matter. I'm sure Sock Pain (yibis encoder) has a better idea of the exact details.


The reason why transport streams are relevant and waited for by yibis is because they are the original video, audio, and data sent out by the broadcast stations.

Observe:

Transport Streams (*.ts) are the raw data sent out by broadcast stations that arrives at the broadcast antenna. From there it goes out to be sent out to Digital Video Broadcast (DVB) or Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC) receivers (depending on where you are in the world) to be decoded and displayed on the TV.

It's the original data and the best quality you can get since it comes from source. Only way you'll get better data is to just like Blu-Ray disks or something since I doubt any company is willing to send the full 40 mbps bitrate or any other features over antenna especially since I'm not sure that most people have receivers or TVs that can even accept such a high density data signal.

How come when I try to play Yibis mkv files, it doesn't play?
It worked for 383-397, but I had to start using another media player from then on. Now that there are no softsubs for 401 beyond, how will I watch it? T.T

Its possible that you ether don't have the right codex or those files have been corrupted.
try downloading them again

Err...apart from them not being corrupted anyway, we include these codes in the filenames to check just that.

Download this and go Tools -> CRC check
If the code is still the same as in the filename then the file hasn't been altered. Should be faster than downloading the whole friggin thing again ;-)

What cccp app? The recommended player is the media player classic included in cccp after an installation of cccp according to its installation instructions.
