If there was the possibility of being freed from the room soon: I'd probably attempt to pull something similar to what Scheherazade did in 1001 Arabian Nights. Only, rather than using stories of fantastical adventure and suspense, I'd offer stories of the world I lived in and my knowledge of its medical/technological possibilities as trade for retaining my life each day. Considering how interested in advancement Orochimaru is, there's a possibility that I might be able to put off being killed, maimed, or experimented on by playing to those interests.

This, of course, doesn't explain how I am going to truly escape from him once we are let out of the room. Since I will have made myself somewhat conspicuous by having possession of desired knowledge, I can only hope it's a powerful ally who is holding the key to our locked door.


If we are trapped in the room permanently: Act normal, perhaps throwing in a few mental strength exercises in an effort to keep my sanity. Orochimaru's body will give out before mine does, so he would likely not kill or harm me since he will need to use me as a vessel of escape. Considering my relative lack of physical and mental martial training compared to him, he would win any battle (especially since I didn't grow up in a world with such chakra possibilities).

That being said, I would fight back, regardless of how futile it might be. Mostly by trying (although, not likely succeeding) to weaken him mentally prior to our confrontation through commentary on-
-his parents-his goals, everything that I know about him from countless character studies. Anything that could be a potential insecurity or sticking point would be brought up and used as a weapon once I had confirmed that I was necessary for him, living and unharmed.

Physically destroying him in any way is only going to bring about our encounter faster, which means less time for psychological warfare. So, I wouldn't bother. Not to mention the fact that it's unlikely I would even have the ability necessary to do so, unless he was crippled by his own pain to the point of being unable to stop me.
