What is the worst pronunciation of a characters name have you heard?

I have a British boss who asked me if I'd ever seen the show "Nair-YOO-toh." I didn't know what the hell he was talking about until he described a cartoon about kids going to ninja school.

My four year old nephew calls Rock Lee "broccoli/Brock Lee" lmao, it's sooo cute!

In an unrelated note, this reminds me of my own mispronunciation incident. For whatever godawful reason, I used to think that Eureka (from Eureka Seven) was pronounced ear-OO-kuh. My brother would always say, "It's pronounced you-REE-kah!"

We ended up both being wrong. It was "eh-oh-reh-kuh." :blinditachi

Well, the anime hadn't come out yet so I just assumed she might know more than me, I was going on what I knew of the Japanese language and the pronunciation of the syllables and Hidan's katakana.

But, she acted like she knew and I didn't, so I didn't argue, and for a while in my head I pronounced it the way she did.
