I maybe jumping the gun here... but I am going to go with God of War 3!

btw I didn't include games some of you think should be on the poll because I couldn't find out if they were coming out in 2009... some games still had TBD so I didn't add them to the list... the ones I did add had a release date or was giving the year of release in 2009

I didn't think Final Fantasy should go on the list since its coming only for Japan in 2009

I do realize that some of these games aren't 100% guarantee that they will come out in 2009 since the dates are likely to change at the last moment but its a list of games I got from IGN.com

No. The Arcade game came out August 08. U.S got it weeks later in early September. Console port came out this February .

Anyways, Just based on expectations...bioshock 2. If its better than the first it definitely takes it. Good luck to the guys at 2k coming up with a cooler plot twist though.

At the earliest it's gonna be November, but i think we're gonna see it in 2010 sadly. I just don't see it coming out this year but if it does the better. E3 they said we'll get official release date.

Either was it'll be one of my game of the years if it's even close to GOW2.

My "Most Anticipated"? Uh that list on the poll doesn't do much for me. I'm looking forward to most of those games just not frothing at the mouth over them. Anything Valve might come out with this year will easily dampen my loins. Even if it is just more content for L4D and TF2. I am also looking forward to Dawn of War II price drops to 20-30 bucks because I am a cheap bastard, but it will probably be one of the best PC games this year.

I think it's either going to be SCII, Diablo III, or Assassins Creed II.

As much as I loved Gods of War I and II, III doesn't look to be shaping up as GOTY. It's the same thing with more weapons. They'd have to bring something to the table to be GOTY. Those games above are the ones doing it.

The idea of predicting what you will enjoy isn't so bad, but proclaiming one of them as "Game of the Year '09" at this point is rather ridiculous.
