The dubs on YouTube aren't the cut-up dubs that Sci-Fi aired.

Actually, they're the same in all respects except for one. And that's cutting it down so it makes the run-time that allows Sci-fi to air tons of commercials.
I suppose you could claim that makes them 'cutting it up', but it's not quite the same thing that a 'cut-up dub' tends to mean with anime.

Cut-up dub = the version of the dub was cut-up. As in there were cuts. As in what Viz does with Naruto. It's best to put it into that context because they also have the original Japanese with subs on there as well so I use the word "dub" to refer the English version.
The cuts were awkward, poorly edited and sometimes caused the omission of small yet somewhat important details leaving what could be percieved as plotholes. For example, I believe they cut out Virtue actually arriving to the battle against the Thrones in episode 19, so it's like it appeared out of thin air. By that definition, they were cut-up. Seriously, cutting out things like Ribbons's earliest speaking role in episode 3 (it was only 3 seconds and Ribbons is actually a fairly key character, there were other parts of the episode that were unimportant and could've been cut) or pretty much the entire death scene for Chris and Lichty. And because they cut out most of the epilogue from episode 25, I'm afraid of what the hell they'll do to the post-credits scenes in season 2. Especially so when considering how many of those are key and used as lead-ins for the next episode.
