Is it just me or does Gundam 00 really have an obsession with twins/doubles?

Seriously, I've come to notice that a lot of the characters are doubles/twins of one another....Too many in fact.

We have

1.The Dylandy twins - the two Lockons - Neil + Lyle

2. Allelujah and Hallelujah Haptism - double personality

3. Soma Peries and Marie Parfacy - another double personality

4. Tieria Erde and Regenna Regetta - Genetic twin

5. The rest of the INNOVATORS - all genetic twin pairs

WOW, do you know anymore doubles?

Actually, it's more than just characters when the story circles around the matter of the "twin drive.":LOS

Anyway, the double thing is of course blatantly obvious.
