Episode synopsis


Hilling and her comrade, Revive, attack Setsuna and the others along with a new machine. They struggle against the miraculous capabilities of the new machine. In the middle of that, Lyle, in Cheridum, withdraws from the battlefield to meet the enemy unit. Lyle fights a one-sided defensive battle, but suddenly, he cries out and charges the new machine.

Episode Review: I feel like a jerk just watching this episode and laughing at Anew's fate but I guess it's due to the fact you know what's going happen. For once you can actually thank Louise since seeing her coming in the fight with her Innovator eyes and new mobile suit that saves this episode from being categorized as only a cheesy and melodramatic episode. I was very surprised to see Louise with the eyes of an innovator makes me wonder what Ribbons did to her. Now that Anew is gone it leaves the anwser on Lyle's stance with Celestial Being's crew very ambiguous now since in the episode preview he's pointing a gun at someone. Also Wang Liu Mei is alive and makes it certain that the next episode will revolve around her and Hong Long's activities. Mr. Bushido is also out there waiting for Setsuna to anwser his challenge.

Lasse is alive.
Anew has Milena prep the 00 for launch.
Revive is let go, lest they want Milena dead.
Soma confronts Anew which stops her form having the 00 prepped. Lyle and Setsuna arrive later and get Anew to let go of Milena.
Anew escapes in the shuttle. Revive escapes in the 0 Raiser.
Setsuna in the 00 and Lyle in the Cherudim chase after Revive. They caught up, he destroys the 0 Raiser's cockpit, and gets away with Anew.
Lyle locks on to the shuttle but doesn't pull the trigger.
Louise and Ribbons talking. Most likely about the Empruss and her reason for fighting etc.
Lyle is depressed.

Revive, Hilling, Anew and Louise sortie.
Tieria, Soma, Allelujah and Lockon sortie. Setsuna and the 00 stay behind to wait for the Raiser.
Louise attacks first, with the Empruss' GN canon that has beams which can change direction to follow the target.
Fight begins. Anew attacks Lyle with a new GNZ(?) model that has a sword and GN Fangs. They get separated from the others. And started screaming at each other. Eventually, Lyle goes Trans-Am and defeats Anew.
Meanwhile, Hilling and Revive break away from the fight to head for I don't know, Ptolemy I think. Anyway, Tieria and the others tried to go after them but are taiser'd by the Empruss.

Lyle talks to Anew, she cries. Cherudim extends it's hand to her, for her to step on and go back but... jaran! Ribbons takes control of Anew and surprises Lyle, swiping at the Shield Bits and fucking the Cherudim with her remaining Fangs.
Anew then charges at Lyle but gets shot by Setsuna.
00 Raiser flies by showering Lyle and Anew with particles, and naked newtype world commences. Ass shot of Anew. :druul
Back in the real world, Anew's MS explodes, killing her with it. Lyle bawls.

Back in the Ptolemy, Lyle beats the shit out of Setsuna, or rather Setsuna lets Lyle beat the shit out of him. Probably to make him feel slightly better, the others most likely think along the same lines since they didn't do anything, except Tieria but all he was doing was trying to calm Lyle down by talking to him. But his wails drown out pretty much what he's saying.
Saji thinks of Louise. Setsuna I think, thinks of Marina, who is then shown singing, again, to the children.

When I watched the stream and it cut to the credits I was shocked, it felt very short.

Anew was supposed to be stealing the 00, and when they managed to get Milena back and stop her from taking it Revive was already at the Raiser. I guess he figured he might as well take away 00's hax, 'cause with Raiser it's just like any other Gundam.

Yes because he saw his twin die right in front of his eyes right? I'm not saying the scene wasn't cheesy and over the top or that they didn't shoved it down our throats with no development, but the fact is his twin and Anew's death were two different deaths for Lyle.

He witnessed one, but not the other. Also how long had he gone without seeing his brother? Did his brother die fighting for something he believed in? I could go on, but I don't find the response that strange.

So I finally decided to watch this episode, I know like a week late, but I thought it was a great ep. I was yelling for Lockon to kill Anew when he went Trans-Am on him and then I laughed when he didn't. And then I laughed more when Setsuna killed her. Setsuna is now my favorite character because of that.

I would think there closer to humans, there biological beings with the only difference is they can wirelessly connect to a computer called VEDA and eachother and of course there much smarter than humans

Then I laughed my ass off when she tried to kill him "I told you to kill the bitch!" I snickered.

Then I felt a tinge of sadness when I realized Ribbons was in control, "Poor girl" I sighed.

Then I felt a touch of fear and shock when I thought she might actually kill him, "They wouldn't kill off Lockon AGAIN would they?" I asked myself.

And finally I was rendered dumbstruck and awestruck at the sheer epicness of Setsuna's headshot that finished her off, I took off my hat and bowed my head in reverence, and said nothing.

Finally got around to watching. The action in the episode was good and I applaud Setsuna for shooting Anew down. That pairing really did feel forced. >.>

It was a nice fight for Lyle until he couldn't finish the job. Its a shame that Ribbons had to take control of her at the end.
