i yesterday completed 666Satan ... man that was way too much manga , before i started to read 666satan i got myself up-to-date with Hellsing(s) and then started 666Satan....wow
before i woke up i saw manga styled shock , i saw three dots and after that three exclamation marks with zig-zag line around them...
after i fell asleep again i saw that i jumped into miko's mask in the sky and got into kabbalah somehow and started to find jio and i could'nt decide between 2 doors - then i got friggin waken up :(

Anyway, I asked the clerk girl, and she said they were all checked out. She offered to put me on the waiting list.

I liked the manga in general from start to finish, but i do think that the ending could have been way better than it was. I was actually hoping that Jio and Ruby would end up together (and i mean on earth, not in that other thingy) It was all in all a good story through the end, but when Jio actually had control over that legendary recipe then he could have stayed. He didn't have to use it and he could have essentially destroyed it if he wanted too (i think)

I just joined Narutofan Forums for the sole purpose of joining this fanclub.

I began and finished reading this manga within the past week, and it's probably my favorite manga, although the ending as stormrunner said could have been better.

I would have really liked Jio to end up with Ruby on Earth, spending the rest of their days together. I understand the whole saving the world and sacrificing his life, but after all that he and Ruby went through, I really wanted them to find peace and happiness together on Earth... they could have AT LEAST shown Jio and Ruby kissing in the end, to signify that they are together and will remain together for eternity, because I'm sure most of you were expected them to "hook up" by the end of the manga... all in all, the manga is great, but could have finished really strong for me had not been for this slight dissappointment in the end.

Also they rushed post time-skip, but still good... another thing, what are Nakama? in the end, they say, "we are true nakama"

And finally, correct me if your opinions differ, but post time-skip Ruby has to be the cutest/hottest manga girl drawn to date

and yeah i agree with most of what you said. it would have really been nice to see jio and ruby end up as a couple on earth at the end. and yeah everything after the time skip did feel rather rushed. there's only about 20 chapters after the time skip...

as for nakama... it means companion, friend, etc. however, i think that it now tends to not be translated in manga, because it is usually intended to have a much deeper meaning. for example, the theme of 'nakama' is extremely prominent throughout one piece (my favorite manga :)), but it'd be oversimplifying to just call it friendship. it's hard to explain, sorry :sweatdrop

The art is very similar and in a way that's part of what appeals to me...but that's to be expected to a certain extent, they are brothers and twins on top of that. So its a good bet they were reading a lot of the same sorts of thing.

Really, I've never seen very few similarities between them storywise. maybe I'll make a list later I have to go right now

hey guys kishimoto seishi has started a new series, it's called "Blazer Drive". seems pretty interesting, although it feels extremely similar to 666 satan. different setting (more futuristic), but the main character looks almost exactly like jio lol, and this time instead of o-parts there are things called mystickers, which are basically stickers that can be attached to anything then activated to unleash their ability. everybody can use them, but only special people known as "blazers" can use them when they're stuck on the body. the main character daichi turns out to be a blazer, and who knows where the story goes from there.

Of course there will be similiarities between Naruto and 666Satan. The two people who wrote them are freaking TWIN BROTHERS. But even the author of Naruto has asked people to STOP saying 666satan is a ripoff of his story. It's very different and simply following a common theme found in Shounen Manga.


And DBZ was a huge influence to the Kishimoto brothers as they have both acknowledged. But saying it's a ripoff is just old bullshit.

What it all means is that you do not watch or read enough of the subject matter to be able to judge it accurately.

For those of us that have read hundreds of manga series and watched nearly a hundred animes, we can tell you that while cosmetically they may look alike, the complexity of the story and end-results of the stories are totally different.


god im sick of people making those comparisons, you know? it's like noobs walking in and saying something, even if it's totally stupid - just to sound like they have an opinion on the matter.
