*shakes head* nope. I know ours will take a little longer than normal because we're doing HQ first time around. But Xenbuda from Mangahelpers & Stoptazmo is also pumping out some volumes, so it looks like our standstill on releases is over.
That makes 3 sources currently active that we know about, scanlating this series.

anyways, its about this boy named jio who dreams of taking over the world. his whole life, jio had been shunned and abandoned, beaten and outcasted, and grew up only trusting money. his goal to take over the world comes from his past, and pretty much he wants to drown his past by taking over the world and making it so that nobody could do anything bad to him. in the world, there are things called o-parts, which are ancient artifacts and weapons, and only a select few people can use them, these people are known as o.p.t.'s (o-part technicians), only 1 in 20,000 people are opts. jio is an opt, but there's something else special about him. there are a total of 10 angels and 10 demons in the world, jio is also the embodiment or 'alter-ego' of the strongest demon, satan.

and then besides that, there's a lot of stuff about love and hate, and then there's stea (the government) and zenom (the resistance) that are trying to capture each person with a angel/demon inside of them to form a superpowerful weapon.

and that's 666 satan in a very small nutshell. that description doesn't do it any justice at all, seriously you should just go read it =P

I checked out a chapter 41 scanlation and it was pretty choppy but the person did really great job. The text was too small to read in some areas, so if anyone has a better quality of 41 I'd love to get that badboy uploaded too mangacult as well.

That's great. ^^ But is megaupload a problem for you? I don't like rapidshare for its dl limits or yousendit 'cause their links usually expire within one week. But my sendspace account keeps them up as long as they're active (or had at least one DL within 30 days).

lol, yeah... pretty much every time i try to use megaupload, it tells me that there are no available slots. almost every single time. i remember downloading off megaupload like... maybe 2 times ever? so i prefer not to use it if possible. sendspace usually works best for me.

also I was thinking about it because awile back we were talking about an anime version of 666 satan, well i think it should be in ova's they could release them a couple maybe 4 times a year. plus we should get a 666 satan ps2 game, I don't think we could get a gamecube one, plus i like ps2 better.

It's not so much for any other reason than the fact that I'm building the English fansite for 666Satan ^.^ I already have all the chapters, in RAW as well I just needed to update the temporary downloads page since we're still in the process of procuring the dedicated servers to put MangaCult.com back online. ^.^

The 666Satan Direct Download page will still exist either which way. I've just been busy the past week at work and didn't get the latest chapters as they came out.


Also - as an added bit of information - I have a japanese translator who is continuing through and translating the chapters over again. Because, well as we all can see - while the story makes some sense and we're able to follow it - there is a lot of details that are being lost in translation, literally.
So for instance, right now I have asked him to please take Chapter 51 and give it his translation (since he has bought all the volumes - he lives in Japan.. lucky guy) and to upload that for me to our wiki site where we're building the content for the 666Satan English fansite.
Once he does, I'll typeset and release that.
I don't imagine it will be much longer.

Concerning chapter 57 & 58, according to my sources it seems we won't be able to get the RAWs before they come on sale, which is October 21. But when we get them, it shouldn't take long to get a translation with all the wonderfull people who are working hard to make scanlations for us.

The anime ending was rushed and it had pacing problems. They also had to improvise its own stories and stretch out the pacing, in the hope that more manga volumes would be released by the time the anime caught up to it. The manga is 10 times better than the anime.

I started reading One Piece a while ago but I forgot about it after a while. I'm considering starting it up again while I wait for new chapters for my other series. Is the mangaka who draw One Piece the same one who draw Fairy Tale or is it someone related?
