Really? No thread on Dirty Three yet? Anyways, occa pimped me this great band a couple of days back and I love them, they are really beautiful.

As much as I try, I simply cannot stop listening to this band. They break my heart into a million pieces with every song, and they're just amazing.

I currently have Whatever You Love, You Are and She Has No Strings Apollo. Both I consider post-rock masterpieces already.

As usual, this is the place for fans and those intrested in being pimped.

She Has No Strings Apollo is an amazing album, but I've been heavily into Whatever You Love, You Are for a week now. I've become obsessed with turning it on in low volume and then going to bed; letting it fade me to sleep.

I'm currently uploading Cinder (their latest release) for everyone who posted in this thread. Dirty Three completely chnage their style this time aound, opting for songs rather than extended compostions. Every track has it's own flare and identity with less prolonged build up (not to say the buidlups werent good). That might disappoint quite a few, but frankly, I think it's a welcomed change. Every song still has the unique dreamy feel, and Dirty Three always delivers.

Oh, and this might be a treat for some; Great Waves also features vocals by Cat Power. :wink
