Parts of the Universal Century incorporated into Gundam 00?

The similarities are slowly becoming obvious. Although gundam 00 lacks the massive huge mobile suit fights of the UC series, we still see how Gundam 00 is reminiscent on the legacy of Gundam 0080, 0083, Zeta Gundam and the original Mobile Suit Gundam.

We see the parallels of the A-LAWS and Titans. Both supposed to stamp out enemies of the state, yet employ brutal means and both kill thousands of people. We also have Katharon which is similar to the AEUG and how some of the Federation disagree with both the A-LAWS and Titans methods of brutality. Titans and A-LAWS kill millions of people, titans gassing a colony while the A-LAWS obliterate the middle east with a giant orbital weapon. Both version of the Federation employ false information to discredit the enemy as well as we have seen in the latest of episode of Gundam 00 Season 2.

Also once enemies join together against a common evil foe. We see members of the Federation join the AEUG and rivals like Amuro and Char fighting side by side against the Titans. While the regular Federation army joins in the coup against the A-LAWS and most likely we may see even Mister Bushido help out against the A-LAWS since other than fighting Setsuna and 0 Gundam, Mister Bushido doesn't seem to like the A-LAWS and refuses to fight unless it is with Setsuna.

It is pretty interesting to to see the similar parallels of UC and Gundam 00 since the UC started what gundam is today. I do hope however at least we get one giant mobile suit battle such as the one at the end of Mobile Suit Gundam, and Char's Counterattack.

Both leaders of the Titans and A-LAWS have similar asshole personalities and don't care what they do in order to achieve their goals, they even have similar expressions :zaru

Well, Mizushima is a big fan of the UC stuff. He even asked to make another UC Gundam but was denied, and so G00 came to be.

All Gundam series tend to follow similar scripts and formats. It's kind of funny how the ones that don't, and try to be somewhat original, aren't as popular.

And yeah, Louise is going to be in the Empress, so Ribbons needs something else. Ideally he'd be in the 0 Gundam, his original MS, but it's GN Drive is being used elsewhere, and I don't want him to be in a Funnel using MS as it'd be Seed Destiny's finale all over again. They'll think of something to stick him in though.

hmm so I should have been watching this then huh??? I didnt care for seed too much but I love gundam AC UC all of it lol before SEED anyhow.
