the tv series doesnt quite go along with the manga, but i still liked the character designs more so than in the OVA. nishino's hair in the OVA looked a little.... weird? i dunno. but, yea i really liked the anime hopefully it will go along with the manga more so than most manga_to_anime series.

the weird thing though is that in the OVA the story is many chapters ahead, i wonder how it will look in the TV series when they get to that part of the story. anyways if you have read the manga yet, i recommend that you do.

So what does everyone think of the TV series? It's letting me down so far. It's skipped a lot of stuff and because of that the characters haven't developed as well. There's a lot that goes on between Manaka and Tsukasa in the manga they just left out. I hope this series won't end up like Love Hina (great manga, less than great anime).

Who else has been really dissapointed with the first four episodes? It's going through stuff way too quickly. I think they have got up to about chapter 25 of the manga already. The character development is just really poor.

Well thats cos the anime rushes through far too much, i couldn't believe how far they got in the first episode. The anime is absolutely terrible compared to the manga.

I also would like to say that the anime sucks compared to the manga. The took out all of the character development in order to rush more girls in as quickly as possible. It looks like the anime won't make it far enough for my favorite character to show up. Don't remember her name, the one from the cram school. The only plus in the anime is that freaky Toujou stalker isn't in it. The spiky haired what's-his-name.

Love hina is in some ways, but there is much morey comedy in Love Hina. It's really good though if you lioke Ichigo youl probably like Love Hina. Again though the manga is way better than the anime.

Mai HiME isn't really like Ichigo at all but it is awesome. One of the best animes out there.

Yeah the anime just doesn't go into any detail. Like for instance in the manga it was much longer before Satsuki said she liked Manaka. In the anime it was like she went from hating him to liking him in two seconds. It just didn't make any sense.

Same happend when I was reading One Piece. Only had to 359.

BTW, a tip when using directManga: Find a browser which displays the file location in the address bar when you dowload stuff (I know Safari does this on Mac), then just change the number of the chapter to the next. Then you don't have to worry about the busy server hassle. ^^

You should read the manga. I havent seen the anime myself but seeing how short it is..... it probably only covered a fraction of the manga.

It was enjoyable and easy to watch. A bit shallow at times I guess, but I don't mind that :P

(In referance to the comments about strawbury pantys, the only time when that topic freeked me out would be ova 5, but it was strangly funny, but cant be expalined without spoilers so I wont.)

Anyways I think this was a over all good series to watch, with plenty of hummor and excitment. Althrough I wish they finsihed it off in some way, rather than leaveing well I am not sure if you can define it as an ending, more like a tipical eposode ending were you expect another to come around next week. But still worth a watch in my mind.

this is one of the best mangas i've read, probably most addictive next to bleach :o

lot's of comedy, romance as well as drama. i must've read the entire series in a few days and i can still re-read it without being bored.

the anime deviates a bit from the manga though, that's the only disappointing thing about this show. It's still hilarious and romantic though.

A proper Ichigo 100% will take too long to produce for any company that simply wants a quick buck. But I'm inclined to agree since I found the anime seriously lacking.
