Need buddy icon help

Hey everyone i have a problem with something. You see im trying to make a buddy icon but the file size is too big for AIM sooo wat im wondering is if theres a way to make it smaller thanks!

Go to setup where the + - is. Than go to preferences and click the browse button. Than find a icon you like an submit it and than where current aicon is the pic you choose should be there.
