What would have happened if instead of Norris packard coming and killing Guntanks with his gouf custom, it was Ramba Ral with his Normal Gouf

I think Norris and Ramba are somewhat equal in skill(correct me if Im wrong) and normal MS-07B Gouf is inferior to Gouf Custom.

well the gouf custom wasn't really better, it had better long range weapons ex. chaingun, but worse short range weapons ex a solid sword instead of a heat saber.
the armor difference isnt really a factor because the gouf custom got dented by a disabled arm.

MAHQ lists that as a heat saber and I believe Customs shash harken-eque weapon is better than the old heat rod.

if it was a heat saber, it would have glowed and instead of denting shiro's gundam, it would have cut straight through.

How about Norris intentonally not heating up his sword.MAHQ might have errors(although they are friggin rare),but it really wouldnt make sense to go cheap on a ace-use Gouf ,when even the last retarded Zaku has a melee heat-weapon.

Ramba Ral is way too ownage. That wouldn't have been fair.

the point is, if it was an un heated heat saber, it should be useless. Heat weapons cut becuase they melt things. if it was a heat saber, it would be like trying to pistolwhip a person to death with a loaded gun.

Probably the same result, Guntanks never stand a chance. ;.;
Now, if it does that mean it would be Norris and his Gouf Custom taking on Amuro and the Gundam?
I'd pay to see that.

Dude... it's a sword the size of a building. It's NOT going to be useless no matter how you look at it. I mean it doesn't matter who's piloting the other mobile suit, if it gets hit by that thing it's going down. Might not get cut very deep but it's still going down.
EDIT: And pistol whipping a person with a loaded gun would be a great idea. It saves on ammo and the added weight of the bullets would increase the force. And obviously if you're pistol whipping a guy you've got him exactly where you want him.

By the way, the saber on the Gouf Custom Norris was using?
It was a heat saber.
Just like the other Goufs.
It wasn't on.
Most fans at this point consider the concept of it being off so this way the intense energy and heat used to turn the heat saber into a melee weapon of doom could be better used in other areas - and the fact that the heat saber is a blatant 'shoot me here' when operating on Infrared vision.
Then again, 08th MS Team has some retarded animation and continuity levels for such a supposedly-high-budget animated work. Another blatant one involves Shiro ripping off the Ez-8's arm in combat. You see, earlier in the fight, Shiro used the arm to block some shots from Norris' heat saber, and took some serious dents to the lower half of the arm. When he rips the exact same arm off to wield it against Norris... the damage is gone!

As for Ramba doing better in Norris' place?
Ramba wasn't looking for a place to die.
Ramba wouldn't be holding back because one of the Feddie officers was the lover of someone he knew.
Ramba wouldn't turn his mission into a suicide mission.
Ramba would essentially have taken out both the Guntanks and 08th Team no problem - and then returned to base for tea with his wife.
Without breaking a sweat.
