Agon thinks that if Takami's team is in a pinch, if only him comes to help he'll stand out.
Gaou is about to go and play naked, but Sena and the others convince him to wait while they go get back uniforms.

although this team isn't full of the superstars of Japanese high schools they seem to all be above average or ace players who can all operate together real well as a unit

compounded with Takami's leadership and a totally awesome all-star cheerleading cast and this team is actually really good.....

Agon's such a douche. But thank goodness the backups are doing an awesome job. Even though it's kind of a cheap plot device to showcase the other players who wouldn't have been able to play while saving the powerhouses like Sena, Shin, Yamato, Riku, Gaou, Hiruma, etc...for the more important rounds (and hopefully later on in this game) it's still a nice feeling seeing Takumi and company getting a chance to play :amuse
