When I was young I dreamed of being an animator someday. But I think I don't have the talent and the resources enough. Now I want to try to at least write a story that will be published someday. I have conceptualize tons of stories(original fic and fanfic) and I want to know if I do have even a little potential on writing. Here's one of my work online! Axciene Knights. It's a mixture of action, comedy, drama and more... Hope to hear your comments!

Unlike the ordinary children, Zun Tamikaya can see and do things that most people will credit possible only in one’s imagination. However, he is still fortunate enough to find true friends who have the same experience as his: Irish Hawkbern and Daniel Shuan. Hence, in spite of them being different, the three manage to enjoy a life filled with great dreams and desires. But little are they aware of what awaits people like them – what awaits an ‘Axcie’.
As their teenage life started, things around them got more and more complicated. Often would they find themselves fighting for their very life battling out strange creatures, or just trying to run away from them. Little do they notice that often, someone is actually helping them survive. But no matter how far or fast they run, the bothering message that continues to hunt them night and day can never be left behind.
“You can’t escape, Axcie! Utopia’s call is inevitable” – a message from a world unknown. Where are these things leading them into? How long can they run? Can they continue to rely for an help from someone unidentified? And, will they still choose to stand their ground of staying in this what we credit as the ‘real world’ if in exchange, their helpless loved ones will be put into danger?
Then their real journey begun. At the very first day of their high school life, and after a series of unexpected and extraordinary incidents, they made the painful decision. They accepted the invitation. They faced the unknown world of Utopia as Axcies. And soon, as the Axciene Knights.

Here's part 1 of episode 1. It's long! But you don't have to read the whole at once. Please be patient...

Episode 1: The knight's promise

Torches on the wall lighted one by one giving brightness to the dark dungeon’s hallway as someone was passing by. But only his shadow was shown. Footsteps were heard echoing all over the place. Then it stopped. At the end of the hallway is a door, splendidly designed, strongly constructed, with two guard statue in both sides and a big ‘M’ like mark on its top. The one who walked all the way to the door calls himself ‘knight’.

Knight: I am knight from the Battle Station and I came here to fight the stage master. Open the door!

The eyes of the guard statues lighted. The heavy door started to open as it moves horizontally. Knight fearlessly entered. Then the door suddenly closed filling the wide area with great darkness. The only things visible were the pillars and the floor that seem to extend to infinity, but not the walls, and not the ceilings.

“Weeelcooome…. And, Gooodbyeeeee!”

The big cold voice filled the place. It was coming from somewhere. From a section of the floor made of huge bricks. That section bulged slowly and eyes and mouth started to form.

Stagemaster: For you, woon’t liiive this place…

Its body, arms and feet were starting to appear as well. Later, some other monster formed from the ground, from the pillars, and even just from the darkness such. Mummies, eyes with wings, giant praying mantis and other creepy creature.

Stagemaster: Aliiiiive…. Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!

They gathered with the stagemaster, wearing a medallion marked with ‘M’ symbol, in the middle.

Stagemaster: You will regret ever coming here! Destroy him!!!
Knight: Ha! (his appearance is shown. Wearing a weird outfit with a helmet. He moved his cloak to his shoulder) Stop dreaming will you! I’ll be the one to destroy all of you in just a few seconds – dark Ice cream man and company! Just wait and see… that is, if you’re fast enough to see me!!!
Stagemaster: What???(gets really angry) You insect! How dare you—rrrrrraaa! Tear him apart!!!

The monsters started moving to attack knight. He avoided it by stepping backward. Then he pulled his sword and moved forward to counterattack.
Swiiiig! Swiiig! Swiiig!

Slashes were shown shining in the darkness. Then knight stepped in front of the stagemaster then moved fast to his back. The monsters were already slashed by knight’s sword. Each of them began disappear as they became dark smoke. Even the stagemaster was slashed with an ‘K’ mark on the body.

Stagemaster: (hardly breathing) Y- - You - - de-- -(some part of his body becoming smoke) feat meeeee (totally turned to smoke. Its medallion fell on the ground)

Knight: (somehow in a sad tone) Don’t feel so sorry for that. For it doesn’t mean that you are weak… (his head grew big compared to his body) BUT BECAUSE I’M STRONG!!! WHAHAHAHAHA! Too strong for all of you!!! Hahaha! No one can defeat me here… Hah! This stage is too easy! Now that I’ve finished the stagemaster, I’ll only need to find and destroy the master’s medallion. Great!
: (thinking) But where could I find it? I think I saw it before… (an arrow shone, while beeping, pointing to the medallion, that fell from the stagemaster, just a few steps away knight) Hmmmm.. hmmmm, I can’t remember! Ah, never mind! I have a feeling that I’ll be able to find it in no time! Ha! (started to walk closer to the medallion) No big deal! And if I find it, I’ll crush it into pi- - (stepped over the medallion and it broke into pieces) Eh?

“Mission complete!”, the communication device on his arm sounded. “Medallion destroyed! Stage 3, clear!” The place shook and something rose from within the floor that made the area smoky. It is a three level stair with a door-like dimensional passage on top. The trembling stopped. Knight, looking surprised with a big sweat on the head, just starred at the passage. “Passage to stage 4 opened!” After a moment of silence, knight smiled and the whole place was filled with laughter. Trumpets sounded and confetti flew in the air. Knight(mini) shown celebrating on top of the world.

Knight: Alright!!! (raised his hands with his finger in victory sign)
Knight: (now returned to the normal setting) WOW!!! Come to think of it. Maybe I really am a GENIUS! Ahaha! I’m doing really great! For sure I’ll be famous after I manage to came from this dungeon. The world will here my bravery! And the people will call me ‘Knight the Great’! Ihihihi! Sounds good! I better go now and not keep my fans waiting any longer! Ahahaha! (stepped on the stair to enter to the door passage)
“Heeelp… Please,… help me…” The soft cold voice from an unknown girl delayed Knight from entering into the passage. He hurried down to the stair and started to look around.

Knight: wha- -? Where are you?

“The enemies have imprisoned me. I’m losing my strength… please, help me to escape… help me… please… help… m- - me”

Knight: (continued searching) B- -but, I can’t understand what you’re talking about! H- - how can I help you?!

There was no respond. But Knight still searched for her. He walked around. Searched behind pillars. But he saw nothing but the darkness. He stood straight. Wondered. Looked up, down, left, right, back and in front. A big question mark appeared near his head.

Knight: {Weird… I can’t see anyone around… But I’m pretty sure I did here someone asking for help. Then why is it that- -? Hmmmm… well… Not unless… Oh no… that can’t be… D- -don’t t- -tell me…}

Knight felt something that made him shiver. Smoke gathered on his back.

Knight: I- - I - - don’t like this.. don’t tell me.. that that is a- -(glanced at his back) Ghh- - gh- - gh- - GHOOOOST!!! (terrified) Nooo,… stay away from me!!! I don’t like ghost!... I can’t help you! I’m a warrior, OK! And I only fight against monsters! G- - go!!! Just look for someone else… A- - a paranormal expert, a psychic, a doctor a lawyer a teacher! ANYTHING!!! But not meeee!!!
Knight: (hid his face behind his cloak while still shaking) please.. go away now… just disappear… be at peace… be at peace and leave, be at peace and leave, be at peace and leave(took a peek) be at p- -(paused) Hey,..?

The smokes were gone. The only one in front of him was a girl around his age with a very long hair that almost cover her face wearing a clothe with strange design. She was not floating and she didn’t seem transparent like a ghost.

Knight: Wait a minute! You are not a ghost?! Then,, eh- - ehe- - ehehe(scratched his head while wearing an unsure smile) Ehehehehe! You got me into that! Ehehe. The smoke sure did tricked me. Ehehehe.. eh- - who are you anyway???
Knight: (no respond from the girl. Light bulb appeared) Aha! I know! You are the one I heard asking for help earlier. You have approached the right person! In fact, I already found the passage out!
Knight: (still, no respond from her. Smiled and moved closer to her) don’t worry.. I have defeated the enemies here. I promise! I will help you out of this dungeon! (lifted his hand) Let’s go?

Suddenly, a dark whirlwind like thing appeared between the two of them. It started as a small dark spark, then it grew fast into a whirlwind around two meters in height.

Knight: Uh? (shocked. Stepped back trying to cover his self from the wind) wha- -t’s happening..?

The whirlwind afterward, turned into a lady clothed in black robe with a hood, like the grim reaper, a mask and some chains. Her lipstick and nail polish were both colored black.

part 2 of episode 1

Knight: An enemy!!! (immediately drew his sword and moved forward to attack accompanied by some sort of a tiger spirit) Take this!!! TIGER SLAAAASH- -

The attack did not affected the lady in black. In fact, she simply held the sword’s blade with her two fingers.

Lady: (in an unbothered voice) What are you doing? (effortlessly pushed the blade away) Who are you and what are you doing here?
Knight: (pushed backward) I- -mpossible??? (regained his balance to start another attack) I am Knight!!! I came from the Battle Station! And I won’t lose to you!!! Now, take this one! Errrr (as if he was trying to focus. Then ran to the lady) Dragon’s… Rage…

The lady extended her arms horizontally with her palm, whose two fingers folded down, facing Knight’s direction.
Knight: Attack!!! Whaa- -(thrown away because of an unseen force)

The lady continued to move her hand and knight floated above the ground.

Knight: Wew! Hey, what are you doing??? Let me go!!! (chain appeared to be binding him) Aaaa- - (dropped his sword)
Lady: Quit it kid! Go home! This is not a playground.
Knight: (embarrassed) Arrrr! I’m not a kid! I’m already thirteen ok!!! And I’m not playing around. I won’t be going anywhere because I promised to help her!
Lady: (looked around a little) Help who?
Knight: What? Are you blind or something? The one near you of course! I heard her asking for help a while ago. That she was imprisoned by the enemies and wanted to be free.
Lady: Are you sure? { that’s strange… How can he hear Asura’s voice from here? And how did reach this location at the first place?} hah! Forget it Mr. Astronaut!
Knight: (mad) What?! I’m not an astronaut! I’m a knight! You hear that! A KNIIIIIGHT! (started to forcefully breakthrough)
Lady: (smiled) A Knight? Now I understand… You are a clown, aren’t you? Haha… Tell me… How can you help someone if you can even help yourself? Stop insisting or you’ll end up with a broken bone. Huh? (seemed like she felt something)
Knight: No way!!! A promise is a promise!

“Over there!!! Hurry!!!” The lady sensed an army in armor running towards something.

Lady: {what?! They’re heading this way… Did they sense me? But that’s impossible… Then how- - } No way. (looked at Knight still struggling) {They sense his presence. But --} Hah! (Amazed)

“TCHIING! TCHIIN!G“. Some pieces of metal felt on the ground. From the chain that binds Knight. “Hyaaaah!” Knight was now able to move his body a little. A part of the chain was actually, melting.

Knight: Just.. a little… more
Lady: (still in awe. Then she turned her back Knight and walked towards the girl still standing without any reaction) {Pretty interesting} (She then stand on the girl’s back and she was now facing Knight again) Listen here, I’ll take your word. However, the girl you’re talking earlier, asking for help, is not here! It’s not her(referring to the girl in front of her). It’s not me. She’s there inside Utopia. Still behind the Gate of Nightmare.
Knight: What?! Uh? Hey! What are you doing?!

The lady bent her body to put her arm around the girl. Her black clothe, together with the chains, slowly wrapped the girl’s body.

Lady: But I can’t let you go there right now or you’ll just have yourself killed. And if that happened, you won’t be able to fulfill your promise…(smiled differently while Knight insist all the more). I’ll help you escape now. But, you will have your chance to come back later.
Knight: What are you saying? Aaah- - (the chain finally broke and Knight fell on the ground) Ooooouch… (held his head) Hey! (pick his sword and ran after the lady)
Lady: Chow. (Jumped back to the darkness with the girl)
Knight: Wait up! (searched the area but didn’t find them). I don’t a thing! Ahuh. (everything seemed to be blurred and moving) {why am I feeling dizzy?}
Lady: Leave now! Before the gate opens.
Knight: Whaat? (still dizzy). What gate? (looked to his side and noticed something blurred)

A few meters away from him stood the gate. It was very huge with a big unique lock system with big chains. A mixture of red, shiny black, gold and silver in color, and filled with odd textures including blood vessel-like structures.

Knight: {The - - Gate of nightmare?! That would lead me to - - Utopia?} (shook his head trying to fight his dizziness). I’m going in!!! (stepped to its direction)
Lady: Stop! You little Stubborn!
Knight: Aaaag- - aa (stopped after a few step). I- - I can’t move - - my body! Aaah, not again! (his body sat on the floor){it’s moving by itself! What now?}

Knight was standing on something – a strange mark on the floor. A bluish light started to trace the outer lines of the mark forming a bluish shield on its path. Soon it would cover him.

Knight: (Still resisting the voluntary movement of his body with his hands lifted a bit as if holding something unseen. Stared at the gate) {I wanted to see what’s behind that gate…}
Lady: No. Go back now.

The bluish light have now travelled half around the outer mark. The gates lock moved.

Knight: It’s opening! I wanted to come in!

But the light have completed running around the path. The lock opened and smoke came out of it. The giant chains that is connected to the lock fell on the ground and created a strong chaotic impact, therefore disturbing the smoke-like dust on the ground. The place was shaking, and it was filled with the dust on the air. Knight, still staring at the gate, witnessed the scene but did not hear anything. It was as if the blue light around him had separated him from the place. Now a yellow light appeared to trace the inner mark’s complex design. But this time, it moved faster in opposite direction, making the trace symmetric. The left side of the gate was slowly opening and darkness was seen at the back of it.

Knight: (focusing on the gate’s opening){What is in there? What will come out of it?} I want to see it! I want to! I want to!!

The mark was completely traced. Some mixed color lights appeared on one area, then disappeared all of a sudden. Then appeared on another area, then disappeared again. Then on another, and another, faster and faster, somehow distorting the original appearance of the place. Some scenes flashed in and out. The dark nothingness to brightness. Blurry images appeared suspended on the air. And the gate, which is the focus, started to loose its carves and colors.

Knight: I want to see Utopia!
Lady: Now!

Something passed around completely changing the place it passes through. Yes. The place changed. There was light colored walls ceiling and floor. Picture frames and posters were hanging on the wall. And the gate, has turned into a door. A plain door. The only similarity was it’s opening slowly and darkness was at the back of it. And it suddenly open fast. “Braaag!!!”. It opened so strong that it hit the wall and somehow shook the pictures hanging on the wall and the welcome sign above the door. Darkness was outside. There was silence. Two shining eyes, appeared to be mad appeared. Then sharp teeth, and tentacle-like hair. It’s like a monster.
“Zuuuuuuuuuuuuun!!!”—The house, shown from the outside, quaked because of the great noise. The cat walking on the bench was greatly distracted and ran away. “Myeeeeeow!!!”. Back inside. A woman, with a long hair wearing her night clothes, was standing at the door. She was still mad but did not appear creepy as before.

Knight: A- -Auntie?
Auntie: (The woman standing in front of him) You're making too much noise! Why are You shouting? It's midnight and you're still playing?
Knight: What?
“Game over! Warrior lose!”, the sound caught Knight's attention to the things in front of him. The TV was on. It displayed a sorcerer like character celebrating while a warrior like one was lying on the ground. Knight looked down. It's two hands holding the game pad.
Knight: So, It's just....
A boy, wearing his pajama, was sitting on the floor in front of the TV while holding the game pad. His hair was not fixed in place and his eyes were sleepy. He is Zun, He is the Knight.

Knight/Zun: A dream???

part 3

Zun: Sigh! That's close! I thought I'll saw a monster coming out of the-- OUCH!!! Auntie, cut it out! (Auntie twisted his ears)
Auntie: And What's coming out of where?!! (let go of Zun's ear). Now give me a good reason why you are still awake! Don't you know that it's already midnight!!!
Zun: It's not yet midnight!(pointed to the his clock). See! It's just 11:35pm--
Auntie: (Shout) AND YU STILL HAVE THE GUTS TO ANSWER?!!! (voice accompanied with strong wind). When will you ever learn Zun? You're always giving me headache! BLAH!BLAHBLAHBLAH!!!

Focus on the clock with time running fast than the usual. Auntie continued to scold at Zun who was sitting with the irritated look. Time was 11:55. Back to the normal flow of time.

Auntie: How many times do I have to remind you to stop playing video games late at night?
Zun: I didn't intend to. I just fell asleep. Then... Yes! I remember my dream just a while ago! It was strange! It felt so real!
Auntie: (intercept) Of course dreams look strange, And most of the time real!
Zun: (intercept) But this one is the strangest!
Auntie: Forget it! You're always saying that! Isn't it just this morning when I last hear that line?!
Zun: Then this one is the strangest of the strangest! I heard a voice--
Auntie: AAAAA!!! Cut it off! Let the stuffs from your dream remain in the dreamworld--
Zun: (Stood up angrily) What do mean by that Auntie? Of course, I know the difference between dreams and reality!
Auntie: Then you are saying that there is a blue dragon and some sort of floating shadow creatures in this city?!
Zun: Auntie, you are not listening! (Scene shows everything Zun says) The huge blue dragon reaching the sky, standing in the middle of the city while bursting fire,... Is just a dream! But, (paused for a while) those shadow like creatures, they are real. I am seeing them since I was a kid. And as time passes they become more and more dangerous capable of hurting people. We must be careful! They're real! You can ask Dash or Iris about it!
Auntie: (seemed confuse). W- well, I'm not saying that you're lying but...

“Muuuuuwahahahahah.. Awoooooo”(sound much like a laughing vampire, and a crying wolf accompanied by a creepy sound from an organ). It's the sound of their Halloween-inspired clock indicating that it was 12 o'clock.

Auntie: Oh,... Ok, ok, enough of these talks! Tomorrow is your first day in High School right? You can't be late! Pick your stuffs and go to sleep, clear?
Zun: But, Auntie??
Auntie: No more buts!
Zun: Yeah right...

Zun pick the things on the floor: the game pad, the remote, etc. Then he turned the tv off.

Zun: (continued arranging his room){Hey! Hello there. My name is Zun Tamikaya! A High School student, by tomorrow. It's true! Believe me! I can see extraordinary things, and can do extraordinary stuffs as well. You wanna see it? Well, tomorrow maybe.}(Scene on his Auntie leaning on the wall smiling){She's my Auntie! Sheone Tamikaya, the younger sister of my mother. She's only 24 years old but she's the one who has taken care of me since I was a kid... You're wondering aren't you? Enough of this self-introduction... Yawn, I'm feeling sleepy}
Auntie: Zun, don't forget the terrace!
Zun: Yeah, I know (supposed to close the glass door to the terrace but something from the outside caught his attention) Huh? What's that? It can't be! (ran to the terrace)
Five strange creature were standing outside their house. They look much like the ones Zun was mentioning before. Except for their outfit. They wore long dark cloak with unknown symbols. Their head is covered with a hood and a semi-sphere stuff attached by some vein-like things. They are floating!

Zun: {Oh no! What are they doing here?! Are they planning to attack us?} Don't try! (He ran inside back to his room and searched for something inside a box filled with toys){not this one!}
Auntie: Huh?! (Rushed to the terrace) What is it? Zun! There's no one in here!

The creatures shown closer. (E1, E2, E3, E4 and E5 with E1 in the middle). Their voice sounds different.

E1: Let's go. The two of you stay here.
E1, E2 and E3 went up floating while E5 and E5 remained where they were. A number of angry dogs came and bark at them.
E4: Rrrr! I'm losing my patience!(lifted his left arm and opened his palm then closed it afterwards)

One of the dogs floated in the air and was choked.

E5: Stop that. Leave the poor creature alone. It's not doing you any harm. It's their nature to bark because of unwanted presence.
E4: (Loosen his palm releasing the dog) He! It's not about the dog! This whole mission is disgusting! Why send the five of us to capture a single human? Isn't that a job of a dreamcatchers? We are E-rank soldiers!
E5: You don't understand it, do you, my friend? First of all, it is really unusual for someone to reach the “gate of nightmare”. But not only that, the council wanted to make sure if this has anything to do with the “Assassin”.
E4: Assassin, eh. That freak. He's only brave in front of dreamcatchers! Let me guess, when he notice that we are here, he started to ran away to hide! That is why the council is almost ignoring him!
Auntie: (looking down from the terrace) What's wrong with these dogs?! They're destroying the night!

Just a few meters away from her were the 3E's floating without her seeing.

Auntie: Zun, are you sure you did see someone outside?
Zun: I am. There are five of them!
Auntie: Of course! There are five dogs here!
E3: Who is it? The lady, or the child?
E1: (Pulled out something from his clothe. It look much like a compass with an eye. He saw the image of knight/Zun flashing while the eye Stared at Zun's direction) No doubt, it's the boy.(gave a signal)
E2: Roger. (E2 raised his hands. It stretched and became tentacle-like, filled with a dark aura, twisting each other to form a huge weapon with a pointed end. He directed an attack on Zun)
Zun: (still searching for something. Held a toy sword) Not this one!
E3: (starting to leave the two) It's over.
E2 attacked. Slow mo. The weapon passed on Auntie's side and headed towards Zun. However, before it reached him. Its dark aura touched the white pearl on Auntie's Bracelet. The pearl reacted. A spell mark appeared in front of her, still without her noticing and instantly cut the weapon, and broke it into pieces.

E2: Waaaaaah!
E3, E4, E5: What?! (E2 perished)
E1: What's happening? I didn't see him moving at all. What is this mark?
E5 moved to their direction. Focused on the mark with some of its part revolving.
E1: Eaaah! Kill him!!!

A larger trace of the mark appeared and from it came out a monstrous image. It tore the spell mark and grab the Es. They tried to resist-- defense, offense but nothing works. The dogs left the area because of fear. It happened in a sudden. Then the peaceful night was restored.

Zun: Gotcha! (held a baseball bat and ran into the terrace). Eh? Where are they? They're... gone...
Auntie: And what's that for? Uh, it's definitely late!
Zun: (walked back to his room, returned the bat and threw himself into the bed){I can't sense any danger now}
Auntie: ok! I think we better-- uh?

Zun was already sleeping. Sheone smiled, walked towards Zun, put the blanket over him, and went out of the room.

Auntie: Good night.

at last, the last part of the first episode.:).. I hope someone could read up to this far.:P

episode 1: continued

But, a distance away from their home was E1, almost crawling. Black fluid was coming out of his deformed body. He was reaching for the semi-sphere device on his head a while ago, now on the ground, broken into tiny pieces.

E1: Noooo-oo! Not this one. How could I get back now? (He was slowly reforming his body) You'll pay for this.

And in another place was E4. Catching his breath. He lost his left arm.

E4: Gasp! Gasp! {I can't believe what happened. What is that thing?}(He recall how the monstrous creature tore the other Es apart and suddenly approached him, as he flew, trying to escape, managing to capture his arm). {I'm lucky to move away. I need to tell this in front of the whole council!}

He stood straight, whisper something and the accessory on his head lighted. A mirror-like thing appeared in front of him, and he stretched his arm to touch it. But, before he managed to do so, a knife hit it, making it broke, then knife disappeared.

E4: Darn it! Who did that? How dare you interfere! Show yourself! Huh? (smiled){Now I know who you are} Why am I so lucky today?! I would be bringing not just a vital information,... but also your head!!! Assassin!
E4 pointed to the top of a big tree. Spear-shaped woods appeared out of the thin air and flew towards the target. But the shadow standing on the tree's branch disappeared before being hit.
E4: You can't hide from me! (Looked around) I found you! (Looked up. The moon was almost full) Hehehe! Hee--(paused.) Eaaaah! (His right arm was gone. Looked up once more). Something was approaching. His own spear-shaped woods) Waaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!

Another place. It was a Stadium colored with white, yellow, gold and silver. A gong was continuously sounding. Many creatures that resembles much of the Es gathered. They were divided in troops.

Some1: Why aren't we starting yet? Are we still waiting for someone important to arrive?
Some2: You haven't heard of it, do you? Just this week, 57 high-ranking soldiers suddenly disappeared.
Some3: And, the 5 E-rank soldiers sent to capture a human a few hours ago haven't yet returned. They probably did have a hard time.
SomeLeader: (Stood on the stage)Silence!!! {How long will they make us wait?}

Then, a mechanical bird, much like a silver eagle, flew around the stadium and approached the stage. Upon reaching it, it transformed into a more human-like creature wearing white clothes all over, but his eyes still looked like that of an eagle.
