They were all very nice, but Asterisk was a really good opening. I think the animation suited well with that opening and perhaps that made it lot better. as for the ending my fav. was the latest one. clear voice and nice song....also showing different squad animation was a cool idea.

Bleach always has a pretty good Opening or Ending IMO. I haven't heard one I really didn't like, my favourite was Asterisk and Thank You though.

Finally had a chance to listen to the OST today and I have to say it is not as good as some other OST of other anime but it's still good

Most songs aren't really songs but just music samples, and that is probably the reason why I think it is less good then lets say.... Cowboy Bebop OST:P Anyway I still have my favorites and the two I mentioned in my previous posts are of course part of that, and now I finally know the name
Well these are my favorites:

1-Never meant to belong : Definitely the best song of the whole CD. It just gives me the creeps when the violin starts to play in that song *shivers*........................................ erm where was I ?? O yes the other songs

2-Going home : Really easygoing song, liked it from the first note I heard during the series

3-Will of the heart : Really slow and calm song just like number 1 and 2

There are some more songs that I like very much but these are the three best. The two most strange songs are:

-Requiem for the lost ones : really strange, sounds really middle age like:confused (maybe because they use an old type of instrument, a klavecimbel it is I think) but still a nice song

-Nothing can be explained : I thought this song fits in really well in the series and the moments it is used, like this one alot too.

And of course the most worse song of the OST:

-Peaceful afternoon : OMG quickly zap to the next song!!!! QUICK!!!

the most unusual OST I ever have, considering the style of the music. But I must say that the music goes really well with the anime, that's why i was looking forward to it. Need some time to get use to it without the visual. As oompje pointed out, the 3 songs are really good. Number One is good too and this along with battle ignition are the 2 that I most looking forward to. All the intro and outra so far are equally good, so i didn't vote in the poll) :thumbs

I love both intros.. but the Original TV versions.... all other versions out there are a letdown, even the long version of UVERworld is kinda flat. IT was a letdown. The 1:20 of the intro is awesome.

And asterisk... the same, the other versions have other instruments that really put down the mood it set with the intro.

I had to rip both intro from the episodes to have the versions I love.

How are you going to listen something that is not on your pc? The only other way is if someone hosts the file on some server and stream it so you can just listen to it via some media player.

By the way, what problem does you pc have that you cant download songs and stuff? maybe we can help you out sort the problem out, it would be easier and more time efficient that way.

I know the song Number One is on the Bleach OST, but I'm looking for the instrumental version. The one on the OST is specifically marked as "vocal version"; so I figured there might be an instrumental version or whatnot floating around somewhere, but I haven't been able to find it. You can hear it both during the Urahara flashback in ep 31, and the Chad/Ichigo flashback in ep 38.

Well, I've been watching anime for half my life and, if i remember correctly, I can only think of two events in which the long version came out before or at the same time we heard a new opening or ending in an anime.

One of these being Houki Boshi, the Bleach ending we just finished. It came out two weeks after it premiered. So who knows, you might get it soon. :)

Well, I'm certainly missing Houki Boshi, but I don't necessarily hate Happy People, the new ending.

It's alright. After listening to it straight for 20 minutes, it starts to grow on you.

Initial D uses Eurobeat in its episodes and the songs are all taken from albums that are out prior to the episode releases. I think thats what Shishou is getting at.

The first time when he and Byakuya came for Rukia? Hmm, I'll have to check it.

The second song you're looking for is Number One [Vocal Version]. There's also and instrumental version that also plays in ep 41 (and other eps) when Ichigo and Byakuya is about to start their fight. Instrumental version isn't out yet but you can find the Vocal version on the 1st Bleach OST (check www.bleachportal.net for a dl).

haha the music the reason i DLed Bleach, but now I love the series.

I DLed the first season because I wanted to see the video for Rie Fu - Life is like a Boat.
Then I read that HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR did the 3rd OP for it and those 2 are my favorite artists so yeah lol.
I started watching/getting Bleach just because I like the music XD

And now I'm in love with "ほうき星 (Houkiboushi)" by Younha and since HandMC isnt a choice I chose "D-tecnolife" by UVERworld

I would have to say that *~Asterisk (by Orange Range) and D-tecnolife (by UVERworld) tie for my favorite opening themes. I like Ichirin no Hana too--a close second.

Ending themes, however, are a little harder for me to put into a numbered list. I'll just say that I loooove all of them! I love Life (by Yui), Thank You!! (by HOME MADE Kazoku), Houkiboshi (by Younha), Happy People (by Skoop on Somebody), and My Pace (by SunSet Swish). I can't choose a favorite! I think the animation for My Pace is so adorable~! All of the ending themes so far have been phenomenally awesome, in my opinion.

*sniffle* I only started watching Bleach recently--it's been a great way for me to try and recover from my Naruto Filler Trauma...I'm pretty sure I don't need to elaborate on that. :cry

I'm asking that the song on the first OST "Nothing can be Explained" says "Vocal Version" at the end of it, so where's the original version? (The original plays during the Byakuya fight in episode 59, right before the hollow comes out of Ichigo when Byakuya is explaining that Ichigo has limits), and the example of "Number One" that doesn't have singing, is when Sado (Chado) first gets his badass arm of death in like...episode 12, but it plays in a bunch of other places too. I'm wondering where those versions of those songs are.

as for the other song...in all their soundtracks..there are only 2 released versions, the vocal, and a remix...as for it being witout words, the probably just took the raw sound before adding words to add to the background

Actually "Episode 114 - Rukias entrance " is an old song. As I was watching Bleach episode 51 I was shocked when I heard that piece of music in there. If you want to look it up it starts at 9.58 when Soi fon answers a question from her VC. I really don't know why it hasn't been putten into any OST.
