I really want to be a senior member, but I feel like the posting I do should be relevant to the above posts. Do you guys not read before you respond?

I'm addicted to these forums, even though I try to tear myself away from them but it's impossible. I post here everyday, and in several types of the forums that are within this one (FC, Ichiraku Ramen, House of Uzumaki, Music Department, Off-Topic Lounge, Bathhouse, etc.)

My post count doesn't reflect how much posting I've done, but then I'm an FC whore and posts don't count there. I've made it a point to get out a bit more and start posting in other areas. Like the originator of this thread, I don't like to make meaningless posts. Sometimes that slows down my postcount, but I'll get there eventually. Personally there is a lot of forums and a lot of threads, so there is always going to be something that will catch your attention. Once this happens you can find your self posting for a long time.

Given your rather impressive post-count, many of this posts readers avidly await the moment that you divulge your Way of the Poster.

Still, most of those readers won't get anything from that, as everyone's style and way of posting is different, much like the common wombat and the hairy-nosed wombat are.

when you write a post, try to have a purpose and be relevant.
don't waste your time with convo threads.
when you post, think a minute or two beforehand and try to have at least two sentences down.
try to post on topics you actually have an interest in.
threads are not for personal messaging, there is already a function built in for that.
one last thing, remember quality over quantity.
i don't really post a lot and it shows in my post count. but when i do post i usually have meaningful information or a rant about a particular subject i am interested in.

I know how your feel, Brant. Back when I first started posting to message boards, most of them didn't care about your stats; that came later. I choose to be as active as I wish to be at any point, and let my stats reflect reality. Hell, when I was on the DragonBall GT Network board, I was made a moderator (in an earlier version of the board) after being there only a few months. People will perceive you as they please, so the most important thing you can do is the be the member you want to be be.

You can't really become a senior member without a little seniority. I myself am content as Genin, because I know I will gain greater ranks in time, Brant-senpai.
